우리나라도 2000년 들어 65세 이상의 노인인구는 7.2%를 넘어서서 본격적으로 고령화사회(aging society)에 들어섰다. "21세기는 고령자의 세기"가 된다고 해도 과언이 아니며, 2019년에는 14%가 넘어 고령사회(aged society)로 진입할 전망이다. 그러나 우리나라는 "고령자의 세기"라고 불릴 만큼 사회구조가 변화하고 있는 시점에서 노인 인구의 0.3%만이 시설에서 보호를 받고 있으며, 나머지 99.7%는 일반가정에서 생활하고 있다. 유교사회의 전통규범에 의해 99.7%의 노인들이 가족에 의해서 그들의 노년을 보내고 있으나, 핵가족화와 산업화에 따라 윤리규범이 깨어지고 있는 탈윤리시대에서, 더 이상 요보호 노인(와상노인, 중풍노인, 치매노인), 장애노인 등의 수발 및 보호는 윤리적 규범이나 가족, 가정에 의해서 충족되기는 점차 어렵게 되어 가고 있으며 극명한 한계를 보이고 있다. 이러한 사회적 상황과 가족부양체계의 변화는, 고령자를 대상으로 하는 각종 복지 시책 개발, 특히 재가노인 복지서비스의 필요성이 제기되고 있으나 우리나라는 아직 미미한 수준에 머물러 있다. 우리나라 재가노인을 위한 정책의 활성화와 서비스의 양적 확대 질적 고도화를 위해서는 첫째, 보편적으로 이용할 수 있도록 대상 범위를 확대해야 한다. 둘째, 의료서비스의 확충과 같은 전문적 서비스의 확대 실시가 요청된다. 셋째, 동일한 서비스내용에 대해서는 전달체계를 일원화할 필요가 있으며, 사업주체별로 역할을 분담하고 담당 인력별로 업무를 분담해서 전문성을 강화해야 한다. 넷째, 재가복지 서비스는 중앙과 지방의 분담에 의한 무료 서비스인 만큼 지원을 획기적으로 개선 나가며, 보편적 이용의 정도가 큰 서비스는 점차 정부지원의 서비스로 확대하되 저소득층에 대하여는 무료서비스를 제공하고 저소득층 이상에 대해서는 소득 수준에 따른 차등적 서비스 요금을 부과하는 것이 바람직하다. 그리고 보다 질 높은 서비스를 원하는 중산층 이상에 대하여는 시장 경제원리에 의한 실버산업이 활성화되어야 하며 일본에서 시행하고 있는 개호보험제의 도입방안도 적극적으로 검토되어야 할 것이다.

This research aims at developing the dress form for the aged women based on their body shapes using the three-dimensional body scan data with the body shape categorization(according to the previous research). To accomplish this goal, the sample group of representative body shape of the 50% of median was selected by using the high frequency proportion range of each type of body shape of the aged women, and the sample group of representative body shape of each type was averaged in a three-dimensional way by using the morphing method of a three-dimension reverse-engineered software. RP in the form of torso was produced based on the shape data of the final model and the data was formed into an actual object, by which an aged women's dress form model was drawn out. The differences of the girth of the bust, hip and waist between the developed dress form model and the existing dress form model were examined. The result showed that the developed dress form had a bigger size of waist girth than that of bust and hip girth, compared to the existing dress form, which shows that it reflects the aged women's tendency of abdomen obesity, so it's expected to be more proper for the human bodies of the targeted age group than the existing dress form. These research results may help design the clothing suitable for the body shape of the aged women so that their demand for the clothing of good fit will be satisfied in the future.

There have been various studies being conducted to prepare for aging society due to the recent trend of rapid aging. The silver industry such as wellness, senior monitoring and support service, and emergency medical assistance services for the elderly is growing fast. However, due to economic problems, limited services are being provided. In addition, the problem of residence of elderly people and care of elderly patients are also becoming important issues to be solved. Aging in Place is emerging as an alternative to solve the problem of local deviation, controlled communication, and loss of self-sufficiency in the process of residents residing in the facility. In this paper, we propose IoT environment construction for ICT based Aging in Place information extension support. By building an IoT environment for Aging in Place support, users can be provided with services that can meet their needs in a familiar environment. The proposed method builds an environment that can be self-supporting based on the user's information and provides medical, transportation, and life support services for the elderly.

전라남도 완도 연안여객선 터미널에서 2018년 10월 연안여객선 현대화편드 1호에 의한 선박 '한일고속페리 실버클라우드호'가 취항식을 가졌다. 국내 여객선 시장은 그간 해외 중고선에만 의존해왔는데 순수 국내 기술로 건조된 여객선이 등장한 것이다. 이에 따라 우리나라 여객선 산업은 기술발전과 디자인 등 그 품질이 향상 될 것이다. 그간 여객선 이용객의 수요는 꾸준히 증가하고 있으나 영세한 규모의 국내 선사는 비용 부담 때문에 신조를 건조하기 어려워 해외 중고선을 수입하였다. 이로 인해 국내 여객선의 실내 인테리어의 노후화, 인테리어 개조에 따르는 선박 성능의 저하 등 다양한 문제점을 가지고 있었다. 따라서 정부는 2018년 현대화펀드를 통해 노후된 연안여객선을 대체할 새로운 선박의 건조를 지원함으로써 연안여객선은 이제 선사의 사적 소유물을 넘어 공공적 성격이 교통수단이 되었다. 이로써 연안여객선은 이동 편의 향상을 비롯하여 승객에게 더 큰 만족을 줄 수 있는 디자인 개선방안이 요구된다.

With the development of medical IT technology, personalized medical services are increasing in the silver industry era through the development of smart healthcare business. Therefore, in this paper, using various sensors in the Arduino environment, we implemented a finger modeling that can perform joint rehabilitation exercise that can provide personalized smart healthcare services. By measuring the activity of each individual finger joint using an Arduino-based flex sensor, it is intended to be used for personalized rehabilitation exercise in the smart healthcare field in the future.

Mechanical and electrical properties of silver stabilizer layer of coated conductor, which as prepared with nano silver paste as starting materials, have been investigated, Nano silver paste was coated on a YBCO film by dip coating process at a diping speed of 20m/min. Coated film was dried in air and heat treated at $400{\sim}700^{\circ}C$ in an oxygen atmosphere. Adhesion strength between YBCO and silver layer was measured by a tape est(ASTM D 3359). Hardness and electrical conductivity of the samples were measured by pencil hardness test (ASTM D 3363) and volume resistance test by LORESTA-GP (MITSHUBISHD, respectively. The sample heat-treated at $500^{\circ}C$ showed poor adhesion 1B, but samples heat treated at higher than $600^{\circ}C$ showed enhanced adhesion of 5B. The silver layer heat-treated at $700^{\circ}C$ showed the high hardness value larger than 9 H, low volume resistance, surface resistance value as well as superior current carrying capacity compared to sputtered silver. SEM observations showed that a dense silver layer was formed with a thickness of about $2{\mu}m$. Dip coated silver layer prepared by using nano silver paste showed superior electrical and mechanical characteristics.

This study examines the dyeability, light fastness, washing fastness, and antibacterial activity of chitosan and nano silver composite knit fabrics dyed with extracted solution from Chrysanthemum Indicum Linn. The results show that ${\Delta}E$ values of chitosan and nano silver composite knit fabrics were higher than cotton 100% knit fabrics in dyed condition with extracted solution from Chrysanthemum Indicum Linn, and mordant treatments influenced the chrominance change. Chrysanthemum indicum Linn confirmed that this could be a polygenetic colors. ${\Delta}E$ values of post-mordant treatments knit fabrics were higher than pre-mordant treatments knit fabrics in dyed condition with extracted solution from Chrysanthemum Indicum Linn., and mordant treatments method influenced the chrominance change. The dyeability of chitosan and nano silver composite knit fabrics was increased by mordant treatment. The fastness of the chitosan and nano silver composite knit fabrics was better than cotton 100% knit fabrics. In the result of antibacterial activity, the bacterial reduction rate of chitosan and nano silver composite knit fabrics was 99.9% to Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

The demand to complement the elderly body shape with comfortable clothing has greatly increased with the growing elderly population and their improved social-economic level. However, apparel industries have not provided significant production and sale strategies that reflect and consider elderly body shape characteristics. This study investigated the demand and complaints of current silver wear. This study was conducted on 100 elderly people 65 and over. The questionnaires were composed of Korean Activities of Daily Living (K-ADL) that reflect the general characteristics of the respondents related to clothing (clothing requirements and demands) and free comments on each question. Subsequently, we found that the most uncomfortable clothing parts were 'sleeve length' and 'crotch' in women and 'neck circumference' and 'pocket' in men when wearing shirts and pants respectively. Respondents felt that the button and zipper knob sizes were too small with the buttons too numerous. The results suggest that we should consider body shape changes caused by aging in order to develop elderly clothing patterns to improve the level of ADL. We anticipate apparel industries for the elderly to expand due to the rapid increase in the elderly population.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the actual condition toward the clothing of senior males' and perception of male's formal wear companies for silver market through a survey targeting senior males and clothing companies. The survey was conducted targeting 196 senior males and chief-patterners of 7 companies' 10 brands. The questionnaire distributed to senior males was consisted of 22 items regarding the perception and satisfaction on clothes. And 12 items concerning the perception of senior male clothing brands and the size system was developed for clothing companies. The results of the study are as follows. The study revealed that most senior males perceived that brand clothing for them was necessary. More than half of the respondents were not satisfied with ready-made clothes. And many senior males prefer ready-made clothing when they purchase their clothes. For these reasons, senior males apparel market might be promising. Currently, the perception of male's formal wear companies on the need of brand was high. However, considering that brand launching might be difficult to be realized soon I presume that size spectrum based on body size of senior males is necessary which reflect their physical characteristics and activities.

As the population of the silver generation is increasing, the importance and effects of the market for the silver generation are also growing. We segments the categories of the silver generation into six sub-segments using based on the factors like life style, life stage, or performing role from the point of view in communication industry. After segmenting those categories, we observed the experience of each segmented group in detail. Likewise, we executed both FGD(Focused Group Discussion) and participants' observations together to effectively collect the expressed and/or potential needs. Customer's experience was collected along the touch points and customer corridors after dividing the customer's experience world into two groups; communication styles in usual life (life log) and direct contact channels. The effects of delivering an affirmative customer's experience would be empowered by eliminating negative experiences or complementing affirmative experiences. For this purpose, this paper presents the improvement points for the better customer's experience based on the observed customer's experience. This paper presented a sample way of customer-centric approach to design the services or products in the communication industry. In addition to that, the analyzed results of this paper will be useful to find out an effective approach to the market of silver generation.
