Experimental Study of SBLOCA Simulation of Safety-Injection Line Break with Single Train Passive Safety System of SMART-ITL (SMART-ITL 1 계열 피동안전계통을 이용한 안전주입배관 파단 소형냉각재상실사고 모의에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • An experimental study of the thermal-hydraulic characteristics of passive safety systems (PSSs) was conducted using a system-integrated modular advanced reactor-integral test loop (SMART-ITL). The present passive safety injection system for the SMART-ITL consists of one train with the core makeup tank (CMT), the safety injection tank, and the automatic depressurization system. The objective of this study is to investigate the injection effect of the PSS on the small-break loss-of-coolant accident (SBLOCA) scenario for a 0.4 inch line break in the safety-injection system (SIS). The steady-state condition was maintained for 746 seconds before the break. When the major parameters of the target value and test results were compared, most of the thermal-hydraulic parameters agreed closely with each other. The water level of the reactor pressure vessel (RPV) was maintained higher than that of the fuel assembly plate during the transient, for the present CMT and safety injection tank (SIT) flow rate conditions. It can be seen that the capability of an emergency core cooling system is sufficient during the transient with SMART passive SISs.

  • Because of the continuous growth of energy consumption, and also the tendency to site power lines and pipelines along the same routes, the close proximity of high voltage structures and metallic pipelines has become more and more frequent. Moreover, normal steady state and fault currents become higher as electric networks increase in size and power Therefore, there has been and still is a growing concern(safety of people marking contact with pipeline, risk of damage to the pipeline coating, the metal and equipment connected to pipeline, especially cathodic protection system) about possible hazards resulting from the influence of high voltage power system on metallic structures(gas pipeline, oil pipeline and water pipeline etc.). Therefore, we analyze the interference problems when the gas pipeline is buried with power cable in the same submarine tunnel. This paper present the results of the study about interference mechanism, AC corrosion limitation of safety voltage and analysis of induction voltage.

  • This paper provides plastic limit loads of pipes with constant-depth, circumferential part-through surface cracks under combined pressure and bending. A key issue is to postulate discontinuous hoop stress distributions in the net-section. Validity of the proposed limit load solutions is checked against the results from three-dimensional (3-D) finite element (FE) limit analyses using elastic-perfectly plastic material behavior.

  • Difficulties associated with full-scale pipe tests are rather obvious. That is, it is not only difficult to perform them but also very expensive and it requires lots of experience. And the process of the fracture test for the pipe specimen is very difficult and complicated. Because the pipe specimen, the test jig and the test equipment are very large and heavy, it requires lots of costs and times. In this study, to easily perform the fracture toughness test for a pipe specimen, load line displacement data was obtained using the image processing method.

  • 최근 작업자 숙소 및 이송용 외에 작업용으로 사용 가능한 Barge선의 일종인 Accommodation Work Barge 선의 건조량이 증가 추세인 바 현재 중국에서 건조 중인 해당 선박의 HVAC & Refrigeration system에 대하여 정리하였다. 본 시스템은 R404A Direct expansion 냉각방식 (직접팽창방식)이 적용되었으며 HVAC system 중 Air conditioning 부분에 대해서는 선박의 각 Deck 기준으로 Zoning 하여 개별적인 Air handling unit와 Condensing unit를 구성하였으며 (각 unit의 용량은 필요용량의 100%), 냉동 창고의 Refrigeration system은 해당 격실 (육고, 어고, 야채고)에 각각 Unit cooler를 설치하고, Condensing unit를 기계실에 설치하였다. 장비는 전체 용량 100%에 대하여 항시 운전하는 100% 용량의 장비와 비상시에 운전하는 100% 용량의 예비 장비로 구성된다. 냉동 창고에 인접한 Dry provision store는 냉동 창고와는 별개로 중앙 공조기로부터의 냉각 공기를 이용하여 Spot cooling하였다. 본 System의 구성에 대한 장점 및 단점은 아래와 같다. 1. Air conditioning system이 각 Zone에 대하여 구성되므로 각 Zone에 대하여 제어가 가능하다. 2. Air con. 실에 Air handling unit와 Condensing unit가 설치되므로 냉매 배관의 길이가 짧다. 3. Air con. 실에 Air handling unit와 Condensing unit가 설치되므로 실내의 Maintenance space 상에 여유가 없다.

  • SHOP DWG의 현주소 어디까지 왔는가? 설계에서 제조에 이르는 전 과정을 컴퓨터로 제어하고 관리하는 기술. 캐드(CAD)와 캠(CAM)은 각각 computer-aided design,computer-aided manufacturing의 약칭으로 컴퓨터보조설계와 컴퓨터보조생산을 뜻한다. CAD는 설계도면을 한 장씩 수작업으로 제도하지 않고 설계 데이터베이스의 정보를 CRT(cathode ray tube)에서 화상을 보고 합성하면서 설계하므로 작업을 최적화 할 수 있다. CAD로 설계된 설계도의 내용은 CAM을 통해 NC(수치제어)공작기계에 정확한 작업동작을 지시하게 되며, 작업관리∙가공∙조립∙검사 등의 제조과정을 컴퓨터로 관리하여 작업속도와 제품의 정밀성을 높이게 된다. 최근에는 건축현장의 2D system이 보편화되어 있지만 건축현장의 핵심이라고 할 수 있는 기계설비의 기계실, 또는 조립화 공법 등에는 3차원 CAD∙CAM시스템이 개발되어 입체형상을 화면에 3차원으로 재현할 수 있고, 대상물의 표면적∙부피∙무게∙강도 등의 물리적 성질도 자동 계산하여 최적상태에서 현장의 시공에 적용할 수 있게 되었다. 1960년대 초 미국에서 자동차 모델∙엔진, 항공기 부품 등 의 설계에 수작업의 한계를 느껴 개발되었으며, 한국에서는 70년대 중반에 도입되어 운용되고 있다. 이에 따라 프로그램 회사들은 다양한 방법 등을 SHOP DWG에 적용하여 판매경쟁이 치열하다. (주)우진아이엔에스는 급속한 산업경제의 변화와 무한경쟁시대에 보다 나은 기술개발 투자에도 노력을 기울여, 2000년 11월 용인공장, 생산라인을 천안으로 이전, 확장 하여 배관 및 닥트의 CAD-CAM SYSTEM, P.F.P공법, 기계실3D, 블럭화배관, 닥트자동화 시스템, 설계, 용접공정을 공장화시켰으며, 신 개발품인 S.C.D(SEMI-CON DUCT)를 신설하여 모든 건축물에 맞는 필수적인 제품을 생산함으로써 선택의 폭을 넓히고, 현장 시공능력 효율을 높이고 있다. 이번 호에서는 (주)우진아이엔에스가 95년 설계팀을 발족하여 제로시스템의 3D공법을 공장 및 현장의 SHOP DWG에 적용해왔고 최근에는“서초 프로젝트A”현장에 SHOP DWG의 최대 결집체인 3D활용의 조립화 공법을 적용하여 초고층 오피스텔현장을 시공한 사례를 게재한다. 우진아이엔에스는 30여년의 기술 축척을 바탕으로 최고의 기술력과 풍부한 경험을 통해 아셈무역센타, 타워팰리스1차, 3차 및 목동트라팰리스, 분당트리폴리스, 수원삼성전자 R4, 등 국내굴지의 초고층빌딩 시공을 근거로 초고층의 기본설계를 이해하고 SHOP DWG을 통해서 기계설비공사의 향후 나아갈 지표를 제시하고 있다.

  • The fatigue characteristic of a material or a structure is derived from fatigue tests of standard specimens. However test results of standard specimens are very different from those of real structures or components. Therefore, to calculate more accurate fatigue life, the geometrical effect and surface condition must be considered by comparing test results of standard specimens with those of real structures or components. Thus the object of this paper is to evaluate the fatigue characteristic of a real waterwork pipe by conducting fatigue tests with standard specimens and non-standard(plate-shaped) specimens of base metal and weld metal. Also, to evaluate fatigue characteristic based on life distribution, statistical fatigue characteristic was analyzed by the normal distribution and related data of P-S-N curve.

Design of Integrated Smart Fire Protection System for Rack Storage (랙크식 창고 통합 스마트 화재대응 시스템 설계)

  • It is very difficult to suppress fire by rapid flame spread through flue space between flammable commodities on the rack when a fire occurs in the rack storage. At present, the fire protection system for rack storage in Korea has many issues, and the new fire protection system was designed and developed by it. A smart system using the sensor network and artificial intelligence was designed to detect fire very rapidly and track the location of a fire. In the very early stages, the system was constructed using vertical open sprinkler pipes, wet pipes, and solenoid valves to allow water to spray near fire locations. Based on the design results, the system was installed and tested, and the full-scale test was successfully completed.

  • Direct current corrosion have being investigated by lots of scientists but alternating current corrosion was ignored because the corrosion rate by AC was very small. Recently however, AC corrosion accidents have been reported in many other countries. So the study of AC corrosion is to be necessary In these days. In this paper, several experiments which intentionally imposed the AC or DC to the specimens also imposed AC and DC at the same time was carried out in the laboratory to examine the AC corrosion characteristics and in addition applied the same way in the field. Moreover, while the field investigations of the abnormal corrosion failures, It was the AC that caused one of corrosion failures.
