LED조명 기반 가시광통신 기술 및 시스템 연구 (A Study on Visible Light Communication (VLC) System Technology Based on LED light)

  • 본 연구에서는 최근 각광받고 있는 융합기술 중의 하나인 가시광 통신 기술을 개발하고 실제 시제품을 구현하기 위한 시스템 기술에 대해서 기술한다. 전 세계적으로 LED조명 시장이 급성장하고 있고 또한 이를 활용한 가시광통신(visible light communication:VLC) 기술이 화두가 되고 있다. 이에 따라서 본 논문에서는 현재 개발중인 LED기반 VLC 시스템 기술을 송신 및 수신 모듈로 분류하고 개별 모둘에 대한 구체적인 개발 시스템에 대해서 소자 및 주요 부품의 특성을 기반으로 제시한다. 또한 실제 개발된 시스템을 통해 약 0.5m 거리에서 약 12Mbps의 데이터 전송이 가능함을 보인다. 개발된 기술은 가정 내 또는 실내 주차장 등과 같이 실내 측위 또는 데이터 서비스 등에서 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

  • For lighting design in such diverse structures, we need lots of considerations, such as use and characteristics of the structure, harmony with its surroundings, and the function and type of lighting to be installed. The structural characteristics is determined by its shape and several vertical and horizontal factors based on the shape, which can be focused on at day time by shading, the surface structure, the quality of the surface and the color. On the other hand, they can be at night hidden in the darkness or enforced strongly by the effect of the lighting. In this paper, correlation between the ways of lighting and building facade types according to vocabularies for sensitivity is explored based upon an analysis of building facades for small-scale commerce which plays an important role in cityscape lighting design. It is considered that categorization of types of building facades, presented in this article, and the classification system of exterior lighting methods can be useful in planning lighting. And the process of the study is thought to be able to present a method about the exterior lighting planning. Furthermore, computer simulation on the bases of the correlation model of the lighting methods related to vocabularies for sensitivity about the building facade types is expected to be data and means which can be a great help for designers to predict various results quickly.

  • 본 논문에서는 고휘도, 신뢰성, 저 전력 소비, 긴 수명의 장점을 가진 조명으로 사용되는 LED를 이용한 실내 조명제어 가시광통신 시스템을 구현하기 위한 연구를 수행하였으며, 현재 가속화 되고 있는 유비쿼터스 등의 다양한 응용분야의 적용 가능성을 확인하고자 한다. 이러한 시스템을 구현하기 위해 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 언어를 사용하여 Date 신호를 전송하는 가시광 통신 송 수신기를 설계하여 통신 성능 실험을 하였다. 이번 연구 결과 원활한 Date의 송 수신이 이루어지는 실내 조명제어 가시광통신 구현이 가능함을 확인하였다.

실내 건축공간에 있어 수평채광덕트 시스템의 적용에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Application of Horizontal Daylight Duct System in Building Interior Space)

  • 본 논문은 건축물에 적용할 수 있는 자연채광 시스템으로서 채광부 반사판과 방광부의 위치 및 크기 등을 개선한 수평형 채광덕트를 개발하고자 하였으며, 이에 따른 실물모형 실험을 통하여 채광성능을 분석하고 적용가능성을 검증하고자 하였다. 연구결과 채광덕트의 적용시 청천공 상태에서는 실내 안쪽에서 0.3∼0.4%의 조도비가 측정되었다. 또한 덕트 폭보다 150[cm] 이상 넓은 조도분포를 가지는 것으로 나타났으며, 채광성능이 높아 실제 건물에 적용할 경우 주간시간대에서 조명에너지 절약 가능성이 높은 것으로 판단되었다.

  • The development of digital technology makes our life more convenient in our lives and its calmness promotes the qualify of our life. Digital-home-automation system lets indoor-living more free, safe and clear so that it really has come true our life style that considers our mind and healthy to be important. Moreover, LED light source that combines the semiconductor with the digital technology has been tried as a current indoor illumination. Also the introduction of the light which has a high technology, like LED light, has been required in living space. It shows that it is very important to have an illuminated- plan which is accepted as well-developed technology. This study deals with the investigation into the user satisfaction of the existing residential area illumination and the investigation into the user satisfaction of the LED illumination being supplied for commercial area now. In the result, the fact is investigated that the user wants the introduction of the digital technology In the illumination because of a backward the residental area illumination in the circumstances being digital gradually. The inconvenience of the illumination used now should be minimized and the development of the LED illumination is a way satisfying the desire. The intended illumination project of the residential area should be accomplished according to the lifestyle of a changing residence.

  • For the company, the office space is the expensive resource next to human resource. Employees are under the influence of physical characters of the office space. Among them lighting is the most effective factor in physical, biological and psychological for employees. Although there are lots of investments in architectural aspect of the office space, there is almost no investment and consideration about the lighting environment. Therefore this study was trying to find out these things as follow. First, evaluate lighting environment of people who works in the office spaces. Second, find out which factors are more affective in evaluation of lighting environment. And then with these findings this study found what should be considered as important in lighting planning of the office space. As the result of this study, however the majority of the employees are satisfied with current lighting conditions, they are not satisfied with individual operation of lighting. And in office space work type and position changes by age can affect in a large degree more than other factors. Therefore when planning lighting of the office space, it is necessary to figure out work features of Individual and group exactly and accept the difference by positions appropriately.

  • The curriculum analysis of lighting design course in the Interior architecture departments in American universities reveals they share a major concern in the basic lighting theories, the sorts of light source and lighting equipment, daylighting, and interior lighting plav. The curriculum is usually composed of two semesters, the first semester being about lighting theory and simple project, while the second one abut more professional fields of design studio. The curriculum of lighting design at the Interior architecture departments in Korean colleges and universities usually consists of introductory courses in the field. Almost every institution allocated only one semester for the courses, and as the courses should cover the broad range within a short time, they were lacked in the required depth and systematic approach. The analysis also reveals the curriculum in Korea puts emphasis on the interior lighting equipment design, while disregarding the importance of daylighting. In comparison, American institutions have their curriculum focused upon the use of daylighting. The curriculum of lighting design courses in Korea, a major part of space rendering methods in the field of Interior Architecture, should be improved without delay. The courses should be included in the required subjects and the educational aims should be changed from offering a general understanding of the concepts to providing professional knowledge and skills, which would contribute to the competitiveness of the departments.

  • LED(Lighting emitted diode)는 전기 에너지를 빛으로 변환하는 효율이 좋고 수명이 길어서 차세대 조명으로 관심 받고 있으며, 최근에 자동차의 후미등, 신호등, 실내등에 사용되고 있다. 부가적인 기능으로서 LED를 이용하여 데이터 정보를 조명과 동시에 전송하는 융합(Convergence) 기술에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 실내 환경을 1mm 단위의 격자 형태로 분할하고 LED에서 출발한 광입자가 격자에 도달한 후에 반사되어 직선 운동을 하다가 포토다이오도(PD)에 도달하는 원리를 이용하여 LED 무선 채널의 특성을 연구한다.

태양광 채광시스템의 조명 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study of a Sunlight Collector System and Its Application)

  • 본 논문에서는 태양광 채광시스템의 출력광의 스펙트럼을 분석하였으며, 그 결과 태양광이 갖는 자외선 분포 보다 낮음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 출력단의 조명환경을 조명설계 프로그램을 이용하여 6$\times$6$\times$2.3[m]인 최소작업 공간의 조명 환경을 예측하였으며, 광파이버 조명시스템의 출력단의 높이를 1.3[m]에 위치하였을 경우 50$\times$50[cm]의 면적에서 500[lx] 이상의 조도값을 얻을 수 있었다. 이와 같이, 시스템의 가격문제를 개선한다면 실내 조명광 원으로서 가능하리라 본다.
