The purpose of the present study was to examine dental hygienists' perception of the current national practical examination. This research was performed using 199 self-reported surveys answered by professors of dental hygiene studies and clinical dental hygienist. Frequency analysis, chi-square tests, and analysis of variance were performed by using IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 20.0. The results revealed that many of the respondents consider the current national practical examination to be neutral. They did not think that the current national practical examination questions are useful for assessing occupation-centric integrated clinical practice ability and counseling techniques for patient intervention. The professors of dental hygiene studies believed that among the research tasks required as mentioned in the national practical examination questions, dental polishing and tooth brushing education are of paramount importance, whereas clinical dental hygienists believed that ultrasonic scaling is the most important (p<0.05). Most of the professors of dental hygiene studies reported that they conducted skills education for dental polishing and tooth brushing education, while most of the clinical dental hygienists reported that tasks actually performed in the clinic included impression taking, model fabrication, ultrasonic scaling, and explaining treatment precautions (p<0.05). Therefore, these tasks can be effectively carried out with the improvement of the national dental hygienist practical examination.

The question acutely raised regarding Korea's entrance test is not just a matter of yesterday or today. It is not an exception to cartoon related fields, which lack of creativity and patterning trend, problems according to the types of autonomous performance tests for each school, problem of evaluation are being pointed out. As such alternative, methods such as expansion of time for performance test, introduction of extra performance test for evaluating creativity, and public sector exclusively taking in charge of creativity evaluation, and etc. will be made as the subject of discussion. Therefore, the most important assumption is to establish what Universities are intending to teach to students first, and to teach such thing, the questions of their entrance tests should contain relevant criteria so that students with relevant abilities would be selected. Even after entering school, constant monitoring would be necessary, and if it shows different results as expected, the criteria should be reviewed again. As such, the reason for Universities requiring much things is because the Universities are, the subject of student selection, the subject which requires certain abilities to students, and the subject of evaluation. Therefore, it is because a University can achieve its original purpose only when good talented students are obtained through such process of selection and are developed through education.

The purpose of this study was to verify that the practical skill instruction of the heat treatment and the tensile strength test using the problem-based learning is more effective than the traditional skill instruction in improving the key competencies. For the study, various literature researches were reviewed intensively about problem solving process, problem -based learning, and learning principals. The process of the practical skill instruction using the problem-based learning was composed with planning, executing, testing and evaluating. Based upon the conclusion of this study, the practical skill instruction using the problem-based learning was more effective than the traditional practical skill instruction of the heat treatment and the tensile strength test in improving the key competencies.

In computer subject assessment based on attitudes and skill, it is necessary to assess the ability of analyzing, capability, and attitudes. In this research, we propose a new method of performance assessment for computer subject. We made an experiment to prove this method in school. The result shows that the performance ability of students is more correctly assessed.

This study was conducted to examine the possibility of developing a drawing course in online education and to assess the satisfaction and dissatisfaction of students. The drawing class consisted of a conceptual understanding of the drawing, learning actual techniques and performing drawing tasks. This course was rated on the content satisfaction scale and the course evaluation scale when it was developed in 2014 and partially modified in 2016. Both the content satisfaction and lecture evaluation showed similar scores to the average for all subjects in the school. Specifically, 'organization of content' received good reviews, while 'interaction' received a low rating in the content satisfaction scale. Additionally, 'enthusiasm' and 'response sincerity of teacher' received high ratings, but 'overall satisfaction' was low in the course evaluation scale. Finally, the self-assessment of students was also low. These results indicate that students want more practice and more active interactions.

The purpose of the study is to show the need for the development of standard materials which can be used for flight training and pilot practical tests in the future. In this paper the flight training and evaluation references of flight training institutes certified by the Ministry of Construction and Transportation(MOCT) are compared with references of the international organization such as ICAO and FAA. As a result it is found that the flight schools certified by the MOCT have used different references for flight training and evaluation. Therefore, this study suggests creation and operation of an expert advisory group to develop new standards for flight training and evaluation, so called " Flight Training Manual", in Korea.

This paper presents an improved evaluation method, based on National Competency Standards (NCS), of National Technical Qualification (NTQ) examination in Electronics Fields such as Craftsman Computer, Industrial Engineer Computer Maintenance Control, Engineer Computer System Application, Engineer Computer, Engineer Embedded) to reflect practical vocational abilities and raise values of NTQ certificates. To evaluate each NTQ examination, we carefully chose corresponding NCS competency units for practical performance test, written subjective test, and mixed test through the advisory committee with industry, education, and qualification experts. In addition, we verified useful effects of the NCS-based evaluation method by performing and analyzing the simulated tests. We used both single and mixed problems in practical performance test and new problems about system design and implementation based on various working scenarios in written subjective test.

This study was designed to clarify the learning motivations, academic self-efficacy, and problem-solving processes in the educational evaluative method in the fundamental nursing practice using moving pictures. The learning motivations and academic self-efficacy showed statistical differences based on the students' motivations of selecting, their satisfaction with the major and nursing practice, helpfulness of moving pictures, and the suitability of practical tests using a checklist. Problem-solving processes revealed statistical differences based on the students' motivations of selecting the nursing department, their satisfaction with the major and fundamental nursing their satisfaction with the major and nursing practice, the helpfulness of moving pictures, and the suitability of practical tests using a checklist. The learning motivations showed significant positive interrelations with the academic self-efficacy and problem-solving processes. In conclusion, the educational evaluative method in the fundamental nursing practice using moving pictures was related to the nursing students' learning motivations, academic self-efficacy, and problem-solving processes.

The field of Construction Engineering leads 1970's industry of the Korea. 최근 국내외적으로 SW 교육에 대한 중요성이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 사회적 변화에 따라 올해 중학교에서 SW 교육을 시작으로 2019년부터는 초등학교, 고등학교에서도 SW 교육이 시작될 예정이다. 앞으로 SW 교육의 성공적인 안착을 위해서 컴퓨터교육 이전의 세대인 학부모에게도 SW 교육의 이해를 위한 적합한 교육이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 2015년 개정 정보과교육과정을 기반으로 학부모를 위한 체험 프로그램을 제시하고 평가한다. 제안된 프로그램의 이론수업은 새로운 교육과정의 SW 교육에 대한 정보를 제공하며, 실기수업은 컴퓨팅 사고력(Computational Thinking)을 기반으로 문제 해결을 체험하도록 구성된다. 제안된 체험 프로그램을 통하여 학부모는 정보과교육과정과 컴퓨팅 사고력을 이해하였고 SW 교육에 대한 긍정적인 반응이 증가되었다.
