Is there any determinant for successful distraction osteogenesis of the mandible in hemifacial microsomia patients? (반안면왜소증 환자의 하악골 신장술시 치료결과의 차이에 기여하는 인자)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 반안면왜소증 환자의 하악골 신장술시 초기 치아골격 특성들 중에서 치료결과의 차이에 기여하는 인자를 찾는 것이다. 치료전의 치아골격 특성, 골신장술의 효과와 그 유지상태를 관찰하기 위하여 골신장술 직전(T0), 직후(T1), 추적 2년후(T2)에 측모와 정모 두부방사선 계측사진을 촬영하여 전후방, 수직치아, 비대칭 항목들을 계측하였다. T2 시기의 계측 결과에 따라서 환자들을 1군(양호군, 10명)과 2군(불량군, 9명)으로 분류하였다. 두 군에서 각 시기와 T0-T1, T1-T2 동안의 변화량의 차이를 Mann-Whitney U test, Wilcoxon signed independent t-test, rank test, ANOVA test를 사용하여 분석하였다. pruzansky type이 골신 장술의 성공과 실패 여부와 관계가 깊게 나타났다. T0 시기에 2군은 1군에 비하여 하악골이 후방위치되었고, 하악지 고경(ramus height)이 짧았고, 하악각(gonial angle)이 컸으며, 이환측 하악지가 내측경사되었고, 이환측으로의 이부변위(chin point deviation)가 크게 나타났다. 1군에서 골신장술의 주요한 효과는 하악지 고경의 증가, 하악골의 전방위치, 하악각의 증가, articular angle의 감소에 따른 하약골의 반시계방향 회전, 이환측의 하악지 경사의 증가, 교합면경사와 이부변위의 개선으로 나타났다. 그러나 2군에서는 골신장술을 시행했을 때 1군에 비하여 하악골이 시계방향으로 회전되었고 하악지 고경의 증가량이 작게 나타났다. T2 시기에 2군에서는 하악골의 반시계방향 회전이 나타났고, 하악지 성장이 일어나지 않았으나, 1군은 반대의 경향을 보였다. 이러한 인자들이 골신장술 결과의 차이에 기여하는 것으로 생각된다.

Hack's Law and the Geometric Properties of Catchment Plan-form (Hack의 법칙과 집수평면의 기하학적 특성)

  • This study makes a systematic approach to Hack's law considering self-affinity and self-similarity of natural basins as well as the elongation of corresponding catchment-plan forms. Catchment-plan forms extracted from DEM appear to be the population come from the interactions of 2 hypotheses on Hack's law. It is judged that the elongation measures based on inertia moments are more intuitive than the ones based on main channel lengths. The exponent of Hack's law, h, seems to be similar to the result of Gray's study (1961). However Hurst exponent, H, being 0.96 imply that catchment-plan forms considered in this study have isotropic increasing properties with scale. From this point of view it is inferred that the shapes of the basins in this study would be more affected from self-similarity of main channel lengths than self-affinity of catchment-plan forms.

  • The kidney keeps with close relationship in the internal organs, that the kidney function filtering eliminate the wastes to the urine on the processing to replace the old with the new blood. In case of these problem in the kidney, there is no way to catch out with self-awakening symptom except for serious illness. This problem can solve with keeping the systematic diagnosis method in the kidney trouble shooting. Under the circumstances, the importance of the diagnosis for the kidney disease is growing day after day. In this paper, among the great four diagnosises, using the way of ocular inspection & auscultation, we would like to propose rouble shooting in the way of the kidney. To do this, through the assistance of the input image, extract the value of the color with appropriate output, analysing the color of the face with related to the kidney, using the results we would like to get the accurate symptoms on the kidney's problems. Also, through analysing and comparing with the relationship the kidney and the signal of voice, we would like to realize the proof system of human health. Finally, we'd like to make proof of the usefulness for proposed method from this study.

  • In these days, most countries effort is to raise competitive people for increasing creativity. Korea also decided human character "Global Creative Person" and prepare for the future. Therefore many universities and laboratories suggest various educational model for increasing creativity. One of the educational model for increasing creativity is Computer Education. That is good at increasing creativity, especially programming education because it is a more effective education. Thus, this research suggests that program for increasing creativity through developing "SRD Program". SRD Program is for increasing creativity and it applies to Scratch Programming, Robot Programming, and Digital Kit. Furthermore, SRD Program is developed and is based on Bruner's Spiral curriculum. Therefore, this research suggests increasing diverse programs for enhancing creativity and there are expectation for raising "Global Creative Person" through SRD Program.

Approximation Algorithms for a Minimum-Diameter Spanning Tree (최소 지름 신장 트리를 구하는 근사 알고리즘)

  • Let P be a set of n points in the plane. A minimum spanning tree(MST) is a spanning tree connecting n points of P such that the sum of lengths of edges of the tree is minimized. A diameter of a tree is the maximum length of paths connecting two points of a spanning tree of P. The problem considered in this paper is to compute the spanning tree whose diameter is minimized over all spanning trees of P. We call such tree a minimum-diameter spanning tree(MDST). The best known previous algorithm[3] finds MDST in $O(n^2)$ time. In this paper, we suggest an approximation algorithm to compute a spanning tree whose diameter is no more than 5/4 times that of MDST, running in O(n$^2$log$^2$n) time. This is the first approximation algorithm on the MDST problem.

  • This study was conducted to identify the cause of turtle neck syndrome that occurs in a pharmacists and the relationship between the height and table height and to suggest a table height appropriate for height. By conducting correlation and regression analysis of the turtle neck index, NDI, and VAS. As a result of calculating, the relationship between the pharmacist's height and table height, which is good for preventing turtle neck, is less than about 65cm, and it was proven that the height of the table is a major factor in causing or worsening turtle neck syndrome. It is believed that further follow-up research is needed to determine whether the calculated through this paper is effective and can be applied to other occupational groups.

Kidney Tumor Segmentation Using a Hybrid CNN-Transformer Network for Partial Nephrectomy Planning (부분 신장 절제술 계획을 위한 하이브리드 CNN-트랜스포머 네트워크를 활용한 신장 종양 분할)

  • In partial nephrectomy for kidney cancer treatment, accurate segmentation of the kidney tumor is crucial for surgical planning, as it provides essential information on the precise size and location of the tumor. However, it is challenging due to the tumor's similar intensity to surrounding organs and the variability in its location and size across patients. In this study, we propose a hybrid network that integrates a convolutional neural network and a transformer to capture both local and global features, aiming to improve the segmentation performance of kidney tumors. We validated our method through comparative experiments with UNETR++, outperforming it with a Dice Similarity Coefficient (DSC) of 78.54% and a precision of 85.0 7%. Moreover, in the analysis by tumor size, our method demonstrated improvements by reducing over-segmentation and outlier cases observed in UNETR++.

  • 혹시 요즘 부쩍 몸이 붓거나 소변에 이상이 있는가? 아침에 자고 일어나면 눈 주위가 부어 있다거나 저녁쯤 되어 다리가 붓고 소변을 볼 때 불편하다면 신장에 이상이 없는지 확인해 봐야 한다. 우리 몸에서 작지만 아주 중요한 역할을 하는 신장을 건강하게 지키기 위해서는 스스로 몸 상태를 정기적으로 체크하는 것이 중요하다.

  • cisplatin 자체는 용혈작용이 고농도에서 얼었는데 반하여 호중구 자극상등액에서는 저농도에서 높은 용혈작용을 나타내 신장독성이 호중구 활성화에 기인할 것이라는 가능성을 시사하였다. In vitro에서 대부분의 활성산소 제거제는 세포독성 억제효과가 있었으며 in vivo 투여시에도 합성 항산화제인 BHA 등은 혈청 BUN, creatinine치의 현저한 감소를 나타내 좋은 신장독성억제 효과를 보여주었다.

  • 1998년 일본 내 생산실적은 5조 6,342억엔, 1999년 일본 내 생산실적 6조 4,191억엔으로 성장률 저하 경향이 1998년 경계로 상승 무드로 전환됐다. 인터넷의 폭발적인 신장에 따른 디스플레이 소자의 증산 및 대 화면 제품의 시장 진출, 광전송기기 장치 등의 신장이 크게 기여했다. 2000년은 $17.1\%$ 성장한 7조 5,170억엔이 예측된다.
