Investigating the Determinants of Trust in the Internet Shopping Mall Environments: Focusing on the Moderation Effects of Perceived Risk and Perceived Price (인터넷 쇼핑몰에서의 신뢰 형성 요인에 관한 연구: 인지된 위험 및 가격의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Internet shopping has continued to grow rapidly in the past decade. The main cause of this growth was the cheap price and convenience. However, internet shopping is uncertain compared to off-line shopping malls. Consumers don't have a chance to directly see and touch the products they will purchase. Many previous studies have suggested a trust to resolve this uncertainty. For purposes of the study, we examined how trust affects word-of-mouth effect and third-party assurance. Furthermore, using perceived risk and perceived price as moderating effects, we analyzed to see how each group-that is, those with high perceived risk and low perceived risk and those with high perceived price and low perceived price-shows differences in trust building. The results of empirical study found that both two variables of word-of-mouth effect and third-party assurance have significant impacts in trust building of internet shopping malls. It was proven that each group-those with high perceived risk and low perceived risk and those with high perceived price and low perceived price-showed differences in trust building. The results are expected to provide both the researchers of the trust study and hands-on worker with important implications.

The Effect of Supporting Activities for Win-win Partnership Between Franchisees and Franchisers on Re-contract Intention and Management Performance through Dynamic Trust (프랜차이즈 가맹본부와 가맹사업자간 상생을 위한 지원활동이 동적신뢰를 통해 경영성과 및 재계약의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between the support activities provided by the franchiser and how they affect the intention of the contract renewal and business performances made by franchisees, developing dynamic trust between these transactional partners. Various supportive activities between franchiser and franchisees were divided into financial and non-financial activities and dynamic trust into Transitional-based trust, Calculative-based trust, Relational-based trust, and Balanced-based trust. These trust types, which are variable and adjustable based on the opportunistic behaviors of business parties, were applied to define the impact of the support activities on the contract renewal intention and the performances. This study was developed around domestic franchisees. An investigator visited business owners and manager level-employees, explained the purpose of the survey prior to the response, and the answers were directly written by hands. A total of 348 copies were used for the analysis. As the results of the analysis, first, financial support activities were found to have a positive(+) effect on transitional-based trust, calculative-based trust, and balanced-based trust. On the other hand, non-financial support activities were found to have a positive(+) effect on calculative-based trust, relational-based trust, and balanced-based trust, and there was no significant relationship on transitional-based trust. Second, the dynamic trust had a statistically significant positive(+) effect on inducing the contract renewal. Lastly, in the relationship between the dynamic trust and its impact on business performances, only transitional-based trust, and relational-based trust were found to have a positive(+) effect on the financial performances. In addition, relational-based trust showed a meaningful positive(+) relationship on the non-financial performances, and non-financial performace showed a meaningful positive(+) relationship on the re-contract intention. From the results, it can be concluded that the financial and non-financial activities for a win-win partnership between franchiser and franchisees are essential in not only forming dynamic trust but also boosting business performances as well as maintaining the business relationship. Thus, it suggests that building a win-win partnership can be promoted more efficiently by specifying activities best suitable for a particular relationship. In addition, a specific set of activities could be presented for establishing the level of trust that is formed in situations that vary depending on transaction risks and interdependency arising from having the transactional relationship based on the contract as the franchise industry features. Eventually, it is expected that this study can provide a way to promote the qualitative improvement of the franchise industry by identifying factors essential to establishing a sustainable win-win system and relationships that can improve the business performance of franchisees.

Intrinsic Reliability Study of ULSI Processes - Reliability of Copper Interconnects (반도체 공정에서의 신뢰성 연구 - 구리 배선의 신뢰성)

  • 반도체 공정에서 구리(Cu) 배선의 미세구조와 신뢰성에 대해 연구하였는데, 특히 CVD Cu와 전기도금 Cu를 사용하여 신뢰성에 대한 texture와 결정 구조의 영향을 연구하였다 CVD Cu의 경우 여러 가지 시드층(seed layer)을 사용함으로서, 결정입자의 크기는 비슷하지만 texture가 전혀 다른 Cu 박막을 얻을 수 있었는데, 신뢰성 검사결과 (111) texture를 가진 Cu 배선의 수명이 (200) texture를 가진 Cu 배선의 수명보다 약 4배 가량 길게 나왔다. 전기도금 Cu 박막의 경우 항상 (111) texture를 갖고 있었으며 결정립의 크기도 CVD Cu의 것보다 더 컸다. Damascene 공법으로 회로 형성한 Cu 배선의 경우에도 전기도금 Cu의 결정립 크기가 CVD Cu의 것보다 더 크게 나타났으며, 신뢰성 검사결과 배선의 수명도 더 길게 나타났는데 그 차이는 0.4 $\mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 미세선폭 영역에서 더욱 현저했다. 따라서 전기도금 Cu가 CVD Cu보다 신뢰성 측면에서 더 우수한 것으로 판명되었다.

  • 최근에 주목받고 있는 하이브리드 클라우드는 기존 퍼블릭과 프라이빗 클라우드의 이점을 결합한 방식으로, 보안성과 자원 효율성이 뛰어나다는 장점이 있다. 하지만 하이브리드 클라우드 시스템을 구성하는 각각의 클라우드 개체들은 성능이 향상됨에 따라 더 역동적으로 작동하는 반면, 기존에 형성된 개체 간 관계는 차츰 느슨해지고 있기 때문에 개체 간 협력과 지속적인 신뢰 관리가 반드시 필요하다. 신뢰성 관리 시스템(Trust Management System)은 유저들의 피드백을 DB화 해서 신뢰적인 개체를 판별하는데 도움을 준다. 이 시스템은 신뢰성이라는 가치를 판단하는 근거가 매우 주관적이라는 단점을 가지고 있어 부작용이 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰성 수치(Trust Value)를 계산하기 위한 파라미터에 객관적인 기준을 도입하였다. 따라서 주관적 판단과 객관적 근거가 조화된 수치를 도출하여 개체의 독립적인 의사 결정에 도움을 줌으로써 신뢰성 관리 시스템의 신뢰성을 높였다.

  • Interpersonal trust is the mutual "faithfulness" on which all social relationship ultimately depend and applicable to the relations among people rather than to their psychological states taken individually. Recent development in the organizational sciences reflect the importance of interpersonal trust relationships for sustaining individual and organizational effectiveness, researchers have recongnized trust's influence on coordination and control at both institutional and interpersonal levels of organization. Because economic action is embeded within networks of social relationships. researchers have argued that efficiency within complex systems of coordinated action is only possible when interdependent actors work together effectively.   • This study examines how the features of communication on Social Network Service(SNS) affect building faculty trust and long-term orientation in professor-student relationships. The research model was developed based on the previous research about communication, SNS and relationship development. The researcher surveyed 210 students to collect research data, and 195 questionnaires were analyzed using SmartPLS. The results indicate that the quality, frequency, interactivity and openness of communication on SNS affect positively on faculty trust. Moreover, the quality, frequency and openness of communication on SNS affect positively on long-term orientation, whereas interactivity does not. This mean that faculty trust plays a mediating role between interactivity and long-term orientation.

  • The interface microstructure of Sn-3.5Ag/Cu joint was modified by electroplating varying amount of Zn on Cu UBM. As the amount of Zn dissolved in Sn-3.5Ag solder increased with the electroplating Zn thickness, Cu-Sn IMCs such as $Cu_6Sn_5$ and $Cu_3Sn$ were replaced by Zn-containing IMCs such as $Cu_5Zn_8$ and $Ag_5Zn_8$, which increased the drop reliability of solder joints significantly. When the amount of Zn dissolved in solder was about 3.8wt%, drop resistance was best due to the effective suppression of Cu-Sn IMC and voids at the interface.

  • To guarantee the reliability in multicast transmission, researches providing reliability through hierarchical control tree which is independent on data channel tree are known to provide high scalability. However, the logical control tree in transport layer constructed without topology information of the corresponding network layer tree may inefficiently use the network resources because the logical control tree is not closely related to the tree topology of the network layer. A router assisted control tree mechanism presented in this paper would improve the efficiency of the link as well as it would remove the replicated data. In addition, it requires to a router a small change which examines the message type of the control tree.

  • Recently, Fintech, a technology that was created as a result of mixture of finance and IT technology, has become a big issue with the development of IT technology and widespread of smartphone usage. Although a continuous research to let new mobile banking payment system to settle in the domestic market is necessary, the research available is inadequate in the status quo. Trust, which is lacking at the moment, is regarded the most important factor in mobile banking payment system.   • While the scale of the consulting market growth in quantity quality, the consultant capacity is becoming important in the digital industry. The preceding elements of trust formation to the consultant capacity divided into ability, integrity, and benevolence of consultant. Also, the consultant capacity is to find out what effect the overall trust and customer satisfaction and re-contract. The results of the analysis, consultant capacity have positive(+) effects for the formation of the trust in the practice of consulting project, and consulting service trust has positive(+) effect in the relationship between customer satisfaction and re-contract. In addition, consulting service trust in consultant capacity appeared to has positive(+) mediating effects in the relationship between customer satisfaction and re-contract intend.
