  • IT 산업이 급속히 발전하면서 정보보호와 관련된 문제가 중요한 고려 사항으로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 문제 해결의 일환으로 정보보호제품에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있으며, 또한 이들 정보보호제품의 안전 $.$신뢰성이 중요한 이슈로 부각되고 있다. 정보보호제품에 대한 보안성 평가가 이미 시행되고 있지만, 보안성 평가에는 비교적 많은 시간이 소요되므로 개발자가 평가 과정을 거쳐 적시에 제품을 시장에 출시하는 데에는 어려움이 따른다. 본 고에서는 정보보호 제품 개발 프로세스를 공통평가기준에서 요구하는 수준으로 개선하도록 함으로써, 제품 평가 준비 및 평가에 소요되는 비용과 시간을 경감시키고 평가의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하여 보고자 한다.

A Study on the Technical Evaluation of the Quality Certification for e-Learning Contents (이러닝 콘텐츠 품질인증 기술성 평가기준에 관한 연구)

  • The increase of social interest for the e-Learning industry leads to the increase of e-learning contents and the system providers which are targeted at private education companies and public institutions. As the e-Learning is used in various areas, the evaluation for evaluation criteria and suitability are needed to provide a high-quality service and reliability. Previous works suggested the evaluation criteria for quality certification, however, the technical evaluation criteria are not provided. In this paper, we suggest the technical evaluation criteria for quality certification of e-Learning contents and describe the detailed features. Through the proposed work, we can establish the technical evaluation criteria and suggest detailed evaluation items for them by providing examples. It is expected that the proposed study is able to be utilized in e-Learning industry, if the policy is reflected and notified according to the feedback of the results of the trial service.

  • Association rule is the technique to represent the relationship between two or more items by numerical representing for the relevance of each item in vast amounts of databases, and is most being used in data mining. The basic thresholds for association rule are support, confidence, and lift. these are used to generate the association rules. We need standardization of lift because the range of lift value is different from that of support and confidence. And also we need standardization of support and confidence to compare objectively association level of antecedent variables for one descendant variable. In this paper we propose a method for standardization of association thresholds considering marginal probability for each item to grasp objectively and exactly association level, check the conditions for association criteria and then compare association thresholds with standardized association thresholds using some concrete examples.

  • Association rule of data mining techniques is the method to quantify the relevance between a set of items in a big database, andhas been applied in various fields like manufacturing industry, shopping mall, healthcare, insurance, and education. Philosophers of science have proposed interestingness measures for various kinds of patterns, analyzed their theoretical properties, evaluated them empirically, and suggested strategies to select appropriate measures for particular domains and requirements. Such interestingness measures are divided into objective, subjective, and semantic measures. Objective measures are based on data used in the discovery process and are typically motivated by statistical considerations. Subjective measures take into account not only the data but also the knowledge and interests of users who examine the pattern, while semantic measures additionally take into account utility and actionability. In a very different context, researchers have devoted a lot of attention to measures of confirmation or evidential support. The focus in this paper was on asymmetric confirmation measures, and we compared confirmation measures with basic association thresholds using some simulation data. As the result, we could distinguish the direction of association rule by confirmation measures, and interpret degree of association operationally by them. Futhermore, the result showed that the measure by Rips and that by Kemeny and Oppenheim were better than other confirmation measures.

  • 신뢰성 높은 수위-유량관계곡선식을 산정하기 위해서 정확한 유량측정 자료를 수집하는 것은 대단히 중요하다. 정확한 유량측정 자료를 판단하는 대표적인 지표 중 하나가 바로 불확실도이다. 따라서 하천에서 측정되는 유량의 정확성을 높이기 위해서는 과거에 측정된 자료에 대한 불확실도를 정량적인 비교분석과 고찰을 통해 개선하는 것이 바람직하다. ISO는 무작위 불확실도와 계통 불확실도를 산정하여 결합한 후, 총 불확실도를 산정하는 방법을 사용하고 있으며, USGS(U.S. Geological Survey) 불확실도의 산정은 경험식을 통한 개별적인 성분을 평가하고 각각의 성분을 이용하여 불확실도를 산정하게 된다. 따라서, 유량측정성과의 정확도를 판단하기 위하여 과거 낙동강 유역에서 측정된 유속계 성과를 바탕으로 ISO기준 신뢰도 95%와 USGS기준 신뢰도 68%에 대한 불확실도를 산정하여 비교분석 및 평가를 실시하였다.

New Reliability Criteria for Korean Workers' Health Examination Spirometry Results (근로자건강진단 폐활량검사에서 새로운 신뢰성기준 적용 결과)

  • The Occupational Safety and Health Research Institute is currently evaluating spirometry tests used for worker health examinations by applying the 2005 American Thoracic Society (ATS) and European Respiratory Society (ERS) spirometric test standardization guide and reviewing the application of the 2019 ATS/ERS guide. To compare results obtained using the new evaluation criteria with previous results and determine whether it is appropriate to apply them to Korean workers' health examinations, we reviewed spirometry results from 325 special health examination institutions. Although evaluation criteria such as extrapolation volume, correction error, and forced inspiratory vital capacity were applied more strictly, institutions had higher reliability scores. Primarily because the acceptability and repeatability of forced expiratory volume in 1 second and forced vital capacity were judged separately, and thus, deduction width was reduced. The study shows that adopting the new evaluation criteria would reduce the possible use of inappropriate data, increase tester and doctor understanding of result selection and interpretation, increase result reliability, and reduce the testing burden.

  • Recently, as tunnel structures are getting older and decrepit, many tunnel inspections are carried out for evaluating the tunnel state and safety. But, because there is no exact standard for tunnel state and safety, depending on subjective decision, the new standard to assess the tunnel state is required. The existing standard including mainly the assessment of the state of tunnel lining is not considered the characteristics of tunnel as underground structures. Also, the item of assessment and process of grading and classifying the state of tunnel is not objective and systemetic. In this study, new standard for assessment of tunnel state is presented for improving the problems in evaluating the tunnel state and safety. In the new standard, the new items of assessment including geotechnical condition were selected and graded, the process in classifying the tunnel state is quantitative for objective assessment for tunnel state. This new standard and method is practically used in effective safety inspection and diagnosis and tunnel maintenance.

  • A calibration system for diagnosing and confirming the performance of precision measuring instruments minimizes the risk of misjudgment of calibration resulted by complying with international standard requirements in order to ensure the reliability of calibration results. This paper uses a proposed calibration system suitability assessment and a guard-band technique through an analysis of uncertainty factors when it is impossible to acquire and operate high-performance equipment at a calibration laboratory, and proposes an optimized test limit output model substituting performance standards. The proposed method provides an optimized test standard to meet the quantitative evaluation criteria of the calibration system and the probability of false acceptance risk required by international standards.

  • The multimedia data of game affects the immersion of the game depending on its quality. It is difficult to design the evaluation criteria of artistic quality of the data. But, in a technical point of view, it is possible to evaluate its quality. Thus, the design of evaluation standard can ensure the reliability and objectivity of quality. However, multimedia data quality evaluation metrics had not yet been designed. Therefore, in this study, we extracted quality evaluation elements of Game Multimedia Data, and verified the reliability of the elements. And we defined detailed evaluation items of each element, developed Multimedia Data Quality Evaluation Metrics. We expect that the results of this study will serve as a guide in the development of high-quality games, have a positive impact on the growth of the game industry.
