Sensitivity Analysis for Reliability Growth Projection Model based on NHPP (NHPP 기반의 신뢰성 성장 예측 모델에 대한 민감도 분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide a sensitivity analysis of system reliability for recognizing effectiveness of changing of BD mode failures using reliability growth projection model based on NHPP. Methods: Crow extended reliability projection model (CERPM) is used to analyze the changing of two factors 1) the number of BD mode failures, 2) fix effectiveness factor (FEF) values. Results: The system reliability has increased in accordance with the number of BD mode failures and FEF values have increased. Conclusion: It is necessary to design failure modes and FEF values to supervise the reliability.

  • 산화물 반도체 기반 박막 트랜지스터가 국내에서 본격적으로 연구 개발 된 지 10년 만에 대면적 OLED TV에 적용되었다. 전기적인 신뢰성뿐만 아니라, 광학적 신뢰성도 검증되어, 앞으로 산업계에서 그 적용 확대가 기대되고 있는 상황이다. 그렇지만, 향후 큰 성장이 예상되는 고해상도 플렉시블 디스플레이에 적용 가능한 높은 수준의 전기적 특성뿐만 아니라, 저온공정도 만족시킬 수 있는 박막 트랜지스터 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 이러한 측면에서 LTPS, 유기물 박막 트랜지스터에 비해, 산화물 박막 트랜지스터는 250도 이하의 저온공정에서도 고이동도 및 고신뢰성을 확보할 수 있는 좋은 대안이 될 수 있을 것이다. 본 강연에서는 플렉시블 기판에 적용 가능한 산화물 박막 트랜지스터 기술 및 개발 동향에 대해 발표할 예정이다.

  • In this paper, the optimal model for specific test data was selected autimatically among sofware reliability growh models bassed on NAPP(Non Homogeneous Posission Preocess), and in result the tool for the reliability estimating scales was implemented.Whith the implemented tool, software optimal rekiability estimating scales(total expected number errors, error detection rate, expected number of errors remaining in the sortware, reliability, ete) could be predicted. By the reliability estimating scales gained form this, sofware development and projecr management could be applied. In order to test the optimal of the implemented tool, the comparicon with other paper and analization was done by using actual error data.

  • The hyper-geometric distribution software reliability growth model was recently developed and successfully applied Due to mathematical difficultv of the maximum likclihmd method, the least squares method has hem suggested for parameter estimation by the previous studies. We first summarize and compare the minimization criteria adopted by the previous studies. It is theo shown that the weighted least squares method is more appropriate hecause of the nonhomogeneous variability of the number of newly detected faults. The adequacy of the weighted least squares method is illustrated by two numerical examples. Finally, we propose a new method fur predicting the number of faults newly discovered by next test instances. The new prediction method can be used for determining the time to stop testing.

  • This paper presents a reliability-based shape optimization (RBSO) using the growth-strain method. An actual design involves uncertain conditions such as material property, operational load, Poisson's ratio and dimensional variation. The purpose of the RBSO is to consider the variations of probabilistic constraint and performances caused by uncertainties. In this study, the growth-strain method was applied to shape optimization of reliability analysis. Even though many papers for reliability-based shape optimization in mathematical programming method and ESO (Evolutionary Structural Optimization) were published, the paper for the reliability-based shape optimization using the growth-strain method has not been applied yet. Growth-strain method is applied to performance measure approach (PMA), which has probabilistic constraints that are formulated in terms of the reliability index, is adopted to evaluate the probabilistic constraints in the change of average mises stress. Numerical examples are presented to compare the DO with the RBSO. The results of design example show that the RBSO model is more reliable than deterministic optimization. It was verified that the reliability-based shape optimization using growth-strain method are very effective for general structure. The purpose of this study is to improve structure's safety considering probabilistic variable.

  • To prove pseudo-homopolymerization(PHP) method indirectly for general system which includes more than one growing radicals per particle, Mayo-Lewis equation of bulk copolymer system was derived form probability equation about instantaneous copolymer composition of emulsion copolymer system during interval II. From Extended Smith-Ewart equation proposed by Ballard et al. in emulsion copolymerization, exact solution was obtained for 0-1 system (i.e., the system containing no more than one growing radical per particle). From the exact solution, average number of radicals per particle and instantaneous copolymer composition were predicted to reach the steady state which a few minutes. So the reliability of this approximation method could by proved directly for 0-1 system. Styrene-butadiene(St-Bu) and Styrene-methyl methacrylate (St-MMA) system were used for model calculations.

  • In this paper we consider the NHPP software reliability model. And we deal with the maximum likelihood estimation and the Bayesian estimation with conjugate prior for parameter inference in the mean value function of Goel-Okumoto model (1979). The parameter estimates for the proposed model is presented by MLE and Bayes estimator in data set. We compare the predicted number of faults with the actual data set using the proposed mean value function.

  • Since guided weapon is high-cost and one-shot device which is non-reusable, it requires a lot of resources to prove required accuracy as a part of reliability demonstration. Once a test for proving accuracy rate of guided missile fails, it causes an additional cost and delay of schedule. This study introduces an equation for proper sample size and plan for guided-missile accuracy rate test in order to minimize the risk of test failure. Proper sample size for the test is derived by considering the reliability growth. Furthermore, each task for accuracy rate test is defined according to the development step. Therefore, this study can contribute to reduce sample size for accuracy rate test in order to meet the reliability requirement and assure transparency in the test process.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study building and maintaining consumer trust in mobile contents for tourism and travel in perspective of public sector. Mobile contents services are increasing rapidly. Tourism contents in mobile services are non profit business model in an early and immature stage toward the ubiquitous era. Non-profit organization plays a role as service provider through Internet and wireless telecommunication in an information-intensive and network-oriented environment. This article is proposed nonprofit organizations as tourism contents service provider to identify a conceptual framework that can build continuous trusted mobile contents under ubiquitous environment according to developing and maintaining stage. The results based on the focus group interview methodology highlights a conceptual foundation for service providers in nonprofit domain.

  • Mobile applications are growing fast and the rising popularity of smartphones, which was supposed to take the market even further. The purposes of this study are as follows. First, we find out what really drives the trust and the intention to continuance use the mobile applications. Second, we explore gender differences in perceptions and relationships between the quality factors and trust. The 231 sets of data collected from 120 male and 111 female, who use the smartphones, were tested against the model using PLS 2.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, perceived usefulness and connectivity had an effect on trust and continuance intension. Second, gender had moderate effect on the relationship between quality factors and trust.
