This study investigated the Chinese national university entrance examination (Gaokao) in mathematics administered in 2009 and 2010 to draw out some implications on the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) in mathematics of Korea. To evaluate the attainments of basic mathematical skills and multilateral abilities required for further studies in university, the Gaokao mathematics is set in two forms(Art/Science), based on the Chinese national mathematics curriculum. The types of items in the Gaokao mathematics are multiple-choice, single-answer, and write-out-answer. The mathematical abilities that the Gaokao mathematics evaluates are mathematical reasoning, operation, geometrical imagination, application, and creativity. As a result, some implications on the Korean CSAT are drawn out in terms of the level of difficulty, the types of items, the arrangements, and the scores of items.

The conformance testing of communication protocol is the process to evaluate whether the protocol implemented is identified with standard specification. By evaluating how generated test cases detect many faults, it can be used with standard estimating efficiency of conformance testing. The method that evaluates the capability of fault coverage for test cases, has been researched by mathematical analysis and simulation. In this paper, we pointed out the problem of existing method and proposed new evaluation model of fault covergage for test case which generated by foult model. Also, we analyzed the results comparing to the existing evaluation method and proved its validity.

항공기의 야간임무 수행 능력을 최대화하고 조종사에게 심리적 안정감을 주어 전투력 향상을 극대화 할 수 있는 야시조명에 관한 지상시험평가 방법에 대하여 서술하였다. 야시조명 지상시험 평가는 설계된대로 야시조명원들이 정상 작동하는지를 평가하는 기능시험과 야간투시경의 원활한 작동을 위한 조명원들의 간섭현상을 평가하는 호환성시험으로 나눌 수 있다.

In this ppaer, fault coverage analysis of a conformance test case for communication protocols, specified as a deterministic finite state machine(DFSM) is presented. The fault coverage analysis of a test case is defined by measuring the extent of the faults detected using a generated test case. The method that evaluates fault coverage analysis for a test case, has been researched by arithmetic analysis and simulation. In this paper, we designed and implemented a simulator for fault coverage analysis of a communication protocol teat case. With this result for Inres protocol, output fault and state merge and split fault have a high fault coverage of 100%. This simulator can be widely used with new fault coverage analysis tools by applying it to various protocols.

ChatGPT, commercial launch in late 2022, has shown successful results in various professional exams, including US Bar Exam and the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), demonstrating its ability to pass qualifying exams in professional domains. However, further experimentation and analysis are required to assess ChatGPT's scholastic capability, such as logical inference and problem-solving skills. This study evaluated ChatGPT's scholastic performance utilizing the Korean College Scholastic Ability Test (KCSAT) subjects, including Korean, English, and Mathematics. The experimental results revealed that ChatGPT achieved a relatively high accuracy rate of 69% in the English exam but relatively lower rates of 34% and 19% in the Korean Language and Mathematics domains, respectively. Through analyzing the results of the Korean language exam, English exams, and TOPIK II, we evaluated ChatGPT's strengths and weaknesses in comprehension and logical inference abilities. Although ChatGPT, as a generative language model, can understand and respond to general Korean, English, and Mathematics problems, it is considered weak in tasks involving higher-level logical inference and complex mathematical problem-solving. This study might provide simple yet accurate and effective evaluation criteria for generative artificial intelligence performance assessment through the analysis of KCSAT scores.

There are many causes for the variation of the result in oral proficiency test such as the examiner, the task, the theme of the interview, and the gender of the participants. Previous literature documents that the rater is an important variable influencing test scores of second language oral proficiency. Although much research in language testing has been conducted concerning rater effect on test scores, there has been little attention paid to the effect of potential rater variables in language testing on their rating process. There are noticeably different contents of the rating scales across different speaking tests developed in different context. Therefore, it would not be appropriate to apply the same rating criteria for various tasks. In conclusion, we need more subject protocol analyses and more thoughtful studies on rating processes. In other words, the oral proficiency test needs a more realistic and valid tool for the assessment of second language proficiency.

미국 육군의 시험평가 제도 및 절차로 부터 우리가 배울수 있는 것을 종합적으로 살펴보면, 첫째 미국의 시험평가 실무 위원회(TIWG)와 같은 시험평가 전담 그룹을 조직하여 빈틈없는 시험평가계획을 세우는 것이 꼭 필요하다. 이는 시험평가를 차질없이 진행함으로써 시행착오를 줄이며 시험비용과 시간을 단축시킬수 있다. 둘째 연속평가 개념의 도입과 평가능력을 제고해야 한다. 모방 개발이 아닌 독창개발로 나아가는 우리나라의 현 시점에서 이와같은 평가방식의 도입은 매우 바람직스러운 일이라 생각된다

이 연구는 우리나라 해기사의 선상 의사소통 능력을 제고하기 위한 방안과 정책을 제안함으로서 국내 해기인력의 일자리 창출 및 해양사고 예방에 기여하는 것이 목적이며, 선상 의사소통 능력의 제고를 위하여 해사 직무영어 교육용 교재의 개발 계획, 온 오프라인용 컨텐츠 개발 보급 계획, 해사 영어능력의 다면 평가 및 인증을 위한 해사영어 구술시험 개발 및 시행 계획 및 해기사 면허시험의 영어구술평가의 도입 방안 등의 기본계획과 그 표본을 개발하고자 하는 것이다. 이와 같은 연구의 필요성을 식별하기 위하여 해기사 양성교육기관의 재학생과 교원, 승선 중인 해기사와 육상 근무 중인 해기사 등을 대상으로 선내의사소통 현황, 해사영어교육에 대한 현황과 개선 방향, 해사영어 교육과 평가방안 등에 관한 설문조사를 실시하여 분석한 결과의 요약이다.

최근 새로운 교육개혁안이 확정 발표되면서부터 새삼 대입전형의 준거로 대학수학능력시험의 비중이 증대되고 있다. 우리의 수능시험과 유사한 SAT나 ACT는 미국의 각 대학에서 신입생 선발을 할 때, 중요한 전형자료의 하나로 사용하는 검사이다. 이 두 검사는 대등한 정도로 널리 이용되고 있으나 그 교육철학적인 배경은 상이하며, 또 후자는 우리에게 별로 알려져 있지 못한 실정이다. 따라서 여기에서는 ACT의 평가내용, 검사개발과정, 결과활용 등을 소개하고 우리의 대학수학능력시험과 관련하여 그 시사점을 논의하였다.
