  • 컴퓨터가 다양한 목적에 이용됨에 따라 신뢰도가 높은 즉 고장허용의 전산체계의 필요성은 증가되고 있다. 임상응용의 경우 컴퓨터의 오동작은 치명적일 수 있고 또 공정제어의 경우 귀중한 자원의 막대한 손실을 초래할 수 있다. 따라서 고장허용의 전산체계에 관한 연구는 필연적이다. 역사적으로 최초의 고장허용의 전산체계는 SAGE와 같은 군사적인 응용에 시도하였다. 2절에서는 이러한 신뢰도가 높은 기계의 시험적인 결과와 실제 운영의 경험에 입각한 고장허용의 전산체계의 설계원리를 논한다. 이어서 3절에서는 현재까지 설계된 고장허용 전산체계의 구조를 기술하며 4절에서는 현재까지 범용의 컴퓨터에 사용한 고장허용기법을 소개한다.

  • This research is related to the experimental investigation of the inelastic behavior of R/C columns with high strength concrete. A total of eight specimens have been tested with different span ratios, steel reinforcements and load applications. Through tests bending moments were applied incrementally while axial forces being kept constantly at 80 tons. Careful observation were given to initial crack formation, crack patterns and propagation paths. Comparative studies have been made on the load carrying capacity for R/C columns with high strength concrete versus normal strength concrete.

  • This research is aimed at the development of the composite beam-column connection system by which the steel beam can be connected to the R/C column with smooth stress transfer. As the first step of the structural performance tests of the system, bearing resistance test has been carried out for actual size specimen. From the test, the connection system has been proved to take good bonding and stress transfer to the surrounding concrete with negligible relative displacements.

  • Vibrational characteristics of coupled beam & plate system are considered on simple system, which consists of plates(2-subsystem) and beams(4-subsystem), using experimental statistical energy analysis(ESEA). First, damping and coupling loss factors of the system are determined by power injection method (PIM). Then, energy distribution of all the subsystem is estimated from the power balance equation. Finally, these quantities are compared with measured energy. The correlation of measured and estimated results for the sample problem is reasonably good.

  • The defects of rail head induced by fatigue and deterioration are mainly classified by two types ; one occurred on the surface of rail head the another occurred on the inner rail head. This study performed the surface irregularity measurement of rail head according to the passing tonnage in the urban railway. Also, we carried out microscopic structure test, chemical component test and micro-hardness test for the specimen which is the used rail on metro line by accumulated passing tonnage. As a result of this study, for new rail, it should be performed initial grinding in order to remove 0.3mm of de-carbonized layer. The preventive-cyclic grinding for preventing RCF defects is proposed two options : grinding by the whole line and grinding by specified sections.

  • This paper has performed an experimental study on the hybrid composite carbody of Korean tilting railway vehicle. The hybrid composite carbody has the length of 23m and is comprised of a 40mm-thick aluminium honeycomb core and 2mm-thick woven fabric carbon/epoxy face sheet. In order to evaluate the structural behavior and safety of the hybrid composite carbody, the static load tests such as vertical load, end compressive load, torsional load and 3-point support load tests have been conducted. The test was performed under Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) 17105 standard. from the tests, the maximum deflection was 12.3mm and the equivalent bending stiffness of the carbody was $0.81\times10^{14}\;kgf{\cdot}mm^2$. The maximum strain of the composite body was below $20\%$ of failure strain of the carbon/epoxy face sheet.

  • Nowadays, among several reasons for customers to choose their own cars, NVH performance plays much important role. The concern for the car interior noise is increasing recently, because electric cars and hybrid cars generate less engine noise which was the main noise of traditional cars. According to oversea references, high Lateral Dynamic Stiffness (LDS) of vehicle wheels is described to reduce Structure Bone Noise (SBN) which is being generated while driving cars. However availablet test standards and test results are not enough, in this study the interior noise has been measured after attaching a same tyre to several wheels which has different Lateral Dynamic Stiffness. The test has verified that the interior noise differs depending on Lateral Dynamic Stiffness of wheels. As to this, the reduction of the interior noise can be possible with the optimal design of the wheel.
