Research on Web standards compliance and professional level of domestic Web Developer (국내 웹 개발자의 웹표준 준수 및 전문성 수준에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, non-standard techniques of web like Active-X caused not only user inconvenience but also barriers to the business of Internet. The government recognized that the serious environmental situation of using Internet is needed to be improved. Especially, HTML5 convergence technology is meant to be a specific platform over the devices, users, and systems. It also means web standards to support more creative business service model and emerging market. In this paper, we performed a survey on Web standards compliance and web development professional level of domestic web developers. In addition, we present the basic direction of government policy of software and software-positive human resources policy, that is based on the analysis of the survey results. Our study will be able to contribute to construct policies to support digital convergence industry and to strengthen technical assistance and expertise to build training programs for the spread of global Web standards (HTML5).

  • With the rapid growth of IT technology and development of online shopping, e-commerce activity through online environment is going to grow in various forms. And then the intense competition also more deepen in the companies within the online market. The study on the various contents production and environment configuration for sale strategies has been made. Among online market products, it is needed to develop marketing strategies for online sales related to rings products. In this paper, through the analysis of online content and components of companies, it has obtained the appropriate components in the ring industry. In particular, aiming to young customers, we looked about components suitable for them and built site. As a result based on the above analysis, we anticipate that it will be able to see forward to a competitive ring marketing.

Suggestions for the Sustainability of Social Cooperatives (사회적 협동조합의 지속가능성을 위한 제언)

  • Recently, discussions about social economy have been actively promoted, and the establishment of social cooperatives, which is an axis of social economy, is being activated. However, because of the economic slowdown, social cooperative activities are often shrinking, and a case study is conducted on how to make social cooperatives sustainable. The results are as follows. In order for social cooperatives to cope with social change adaptation and market diversity, it is necessary to organize networks or participate in existing networks. It is also necessary that social cooperatives form different types of social cooperatives into separate organizational forms as needed. In addition, social cooperatives should make efforts to improve the quality of services and goods provided by each organization, and focus on attracting local people's empathy and participation to change the culture and atmosphere of the region. If such efforts are made, it will be possible for social cooperatives to become a sustainable economic organization.

Study on Conflicts and Coordination in Smart Grid (스마트그리드 갈등양상 및 조정방안 연구)

  • Smart grid, which is a sort of convergence of numerous technologies, can be deployed only with cooperation and fair competition among various stakeholders. If the interest conflicts were not coordinated properly, related business and investment would become delayed and inactive. Therefore, this study analyzes the causes of interest conflicts and related issues in smart grid sector and suggests policy directions by issue. As the result of AHP analysis, the majority of respondents surveyed said that ambiguity of the role and authority is the key problem causing conflicts of interest in smart grid deployment process. Differences in values, communications problems, etc. are pointed as additional main reasons of the interest conflicts. To resolve interest conflicts in smart grids, the Korean government should enhance its leadership in the coordination of stakeholders' interests. Government should make efforts to coordinate the various interests in terms of the development of the smart grid market and win stakeholders' sympathy of their desirable roles in the smart grid market.

A Study on Employment of Aged Workers in Korea (중.고령자 고용안정과 촉진에 관한 연구)

  • 1997-98년의 외환위기는 한국경제 전반에 걸쳐 커다란 변화를 초래하였다. 특히 노동시장에서도 200만 명의 전례 없는 대량실업을 경험하였다. 이전의 고학력 실업과 생산직 노동력 부족이라는 두 가지 큰 특징으로부터 성, 학력, 연령에 관계없는 전 노동력에서의 대량실업이라는 특징을 경험하게되었다. 불경기에서의 기업 구조조정은 많은 직장인들로 하여금 통상적인 정년을 채우지 못하고 조기 퇴직해야 하는 상황을 초래하였다. 특히 50세 이상의 중·고령자 조기퇴직은 그들이 가정경제를 책임지는 가장으로서의 가정적 불안 뿐 아니라, 사회적으로도 실업자 보호를 위한 비용지출이 증대될 수밖에 없다. 이러한 현상은 직장에 남아있는 근로자들의 고용불안으로 확대되어 근로자들의 의사가 제대로 반영되지 않는 채 그 동안 정착된 고용관행(60세 전후 정년퇴직, 연공서열형 보수체계, 등)이 쉽게 무너지고, 사용자 중심의 새로운 고용관행(계약직, 연봉제, 단시간 근로형태, 등)이 확대될 가능성이 높아지게 되었다. 본 연구는 중·고령자의 고용안정과 촉진을 위한 정책대안과 촉진을 위한 정책대안을 제시함으로써 개인에게는 적합한 직종에서 일할 기회를 부여하고, 사회적으로는 실업문제의 해결로 사회복지비용의 지출을 최소화한다는 차원에서 연구되었다. 일반적으로 채용 면에서는 퇴직된 중·고령자도 신구인력과 경쟁적일 수박에 없으므로 비록 경기가 회복되더라도 재취업의 어려움은 여전히 남을 수밖에 없다. 뿐만 아니라 이들은 오랫동안 피고용자로서 근무해 왔기 때문에 신규 자영업에 진출하기도 조심스러울 수밖에 없어 이들의 경제활동에 대한 정부차원의 지원정책이 필요할 것이다. 연구결과 다음과 같은 몇 가지 중요한 정책적 시사점을 제시할 수 있다. 의무고용률 의 조정, 퇴직 전 전직훈련의 의무화, 고령자 창업보육센타의 설립, 신규채용이나 퇴직에서 제한연령의 완화 및 철폐, 서비스 산업에서의 고령자 적합직종의 개발, 등이 그것이다.

Study of Theme Park Attractions using Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Technologies (가상현실 및 증강현실의 기술을 활용한 테마파크 어트랙션의 연구)

  • VR and AR technologies are recognized as one of important technologies during 4th Industrial Revolution Era. Also, the market size of VR/AR are anticipated to grow up to $150 billion by 2020. These technologies are used in theme parks as well as in other industries including games and films. The purpose of this study is to recognize the trend of VR/AR application in theme park attractions and recommend optimal ways for the future applications. The trends were studied from number of publications while future model was developed after visiting theme parks and interviewing the industry experts. As a result, number of theme parks and LBCs(Location Based Center) are using VR/AR in many of their attractions already, but still holds a number of issues. These issues could be overcome if Fun, Efficiency and Technology are considered holistic ways in the future. Further, conformity of the technologies and theme park concept should also be examined.

Development of e-Commerce System Based on Social Network Service (SNS 기반 e커머스 시스템 개발)

  • Fundamental problems of e-commerce are exaggerated advertising of products, lack of trust in products or suppliers, and false reviews. As a solution, I have merged the concept of trust service embedded in social network service(SNS) with commercial domain to develop a new type of service called "Reliable SNS Commerce Service". The contents developed in this paper are as follows: first, online community functions for users to provide services; second, commerce functions; and third, functions for linking SNS and commerce. Through the reliability information presented in this paper, the seller provides more reliable and objective purchase information to the buyer about the sales items, thereby contributing to the sales by increasing the probability of the actual purchase. The buyer can purchase the higher-quality products with confidence. The service providers can gain the reputation as a reliable site for purchasing members. In conclusion, this paper provides a positive effect to all the participants, which will contribute to the development of a new commerce market and activation of electronic commerce.

  • The telecommunication industry, which has traditionally formed its own market area, has also been affected by the after shock of the digitalization triggered by computer communications. In the telecommunications industry, digitalization or digital services refers to network functional virtualization supported by software defined networks. The digitalization of the telecom industry is changing rapidly, and the participants are not limited to the traditional equipment suppliers and service providers in established market, but includes virtually all social entities. To understand this new change, focusing on whether the traditional equipment suppliers that have traditionally played a pivotal role in the center of change will continue its role in this new era of digitalization or not, and how they are progressing toward end-to-end digital services, the goal of digitalization, will lead us to the good understanding of ongoing digitalization.

  • As population grows and urban facilities are concentrated in specific areas due to recent urbanization and industrialization, cities have structures vulnerable to both natural and man-made disasters. Most of these structures, whether buildings or residential houses, are left in a defenseless state if not given the appropriate check-up before they are built. The process of rapid urbanization without establishing the proper urban fire risk assessment will surely lead to disasters. This phenomenon occurred during the process of rapid urbanization and maybe said the result of chaotic urban expansion where modern urban infrastructure is not yet equipped in the city. Under the said circumstances, propagation processes of Korean urban fire cases were investigated to establish fire risk assessment system. Moreover, this paper explains the experiment performed for establishing urban risk assessment model. The said experiment was conducted using the new urban fire risk assessment model.

  • The last few years have been a boom time for the online gaming industry. Internet-based online games have made an increasingly popular form of entertainment. The gaming industry estimates that online gaming players reach over 26 million in 2002. The rapid development of online game-contents and related information technology shall increase the size of industry and have a profound impact on many ways of our living and sociaty. This paper develops the exploratory LISREL model for identifying the factors attecting the players' loyalty for some specific brand of online games. The concept of flow, word of mouth, feedback, challenge, social norms, and online community activities, etc, are all introduced into the model, as the independent variables affecting the loyalty directly and indirectly. Based on data collected from online questionnaire survey, the validity of the model has been tested and interesting conclusions have been developed concerning the relationships between the loyalty, flow, word of mouth and other set of independent vareables. It is hoped that this result might provide the useful guidelines for developing the successful online game contents.
