  • 일반적인 상용차에서 사용되고 있는 기계식 에어컨 시스템은 엔진의 가동(주행 또는 공회전)에 의해 발생되는 에너지를 이용해 차량 실내온도를 유지시켜준다. 이러한 기계식 에어컨 시스템의 작동은 엔진 구동력의 일부를 사용하기 때문에 상용차의 연비와 큰 관련성 있다. 상용차량은 경우 하절기 작업대기, 차량 내 야간취침 등이 빈번해 운전자의 운행습관에 따라 연료 소비량이 증가하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 개선하고자 대형 상용차량이 정차중인 무시동 기간에도 일정 온도의 유지가 가능한 전동식 압축기 구동용 Cascaded Push-Pull 컨버터를 제안하였다.

  • This paper describes the inverter driven air-condetioner with power factor correction (PFC) circuit. By adopting PFC in the rectifier, we can reduce harmonic injection into power line, improve the efficiency and lower the total system cost compared to conventional inverter only. Also, system performance is improved by stabilizing the output voltage of PFC. In this paper, detailed design procedures for PFC are given, and the several merits with PFC are verified through the simulation and experiment.

  • A computer simulation for the performance analysis of automobile air conditioning components is carried out for the various operating conditions. The automobile air conditioning system consists of laminated type evaporator, swash plate type compressor, parallel flow type condenser, externally equalized thermostatic expansion valve and receiver drier. The overall heat transfer coefficient and the pressure drop in laminated type evaporator were obtained through experiments. In parallel flow type condenser, the performance analysis computer program using the empirical equation for heat transfer coefficient has been developed and the results are compared with experimental results. A model for matching the performance analysis programs of respective components .of automobile air conditioning system is introduced. Further, the effects of varying condenser size and refrigerant charge on the performance of automobile air conditioning system are discussed clearly.

  • Fault detection and diagnostic (FDD) systems have the potential to reduce equipment downtime, service costs, and utility costs. In this study, model based algorithm and fuzzy algorithm were used to detect and diagnose various fault at System multi-air conditioner. various fault include the Refrigerant Low charging, Fouling of Indoor Heat Exchanger, Fouling of Outdoor Heat Exchanger A experimental verification was conducted in the 6HP System multi-air conditioner on an 8-floor building. Test results showed diagnosis result about 78 $\~$ 90$\%$ for given faults. This Study lays the foundation fur future work on develope the real-time fault detection and diagnosis system for the System multi-air conditioner.

  • Replacement period for vehicle cabin filter of most automobiles is fixed without consideration of conditions of filter and environment. Auto alarm system of replacement period at vehicle cabin filter and interception system of high concentration dust were developed. Control program which is related with the AQS has been developed based on the circuit drive algorithm. This system is expected to be beneficial to passenger's health and to extend the life of the filter which regulates vehicle HVAC system by ventilation mode change at the time of high concentration dust.

  • 대부분의 가정용 냉난방겸용 공기조화기(히트펌프)는 실외온도가 $5^{\circ}C$ 이하이고, 습도가 높은 저온고습조건에서 난방운전을 하면 열교환기 표변에 서리가 발생하고, 이로 인해 시스템의 성능이 떨어지게 된다. 이를 방지하기 위하여 어느 일정 조건이나 시간이 되면 히트펌프는 제상운전을 하게 되는데, 보통의 가정용 히트펌프의 경우 난방운전도중에 사이클을 냉방운전으로 전환하여 실외 열교환기의 온도를 높여 줌으로써 제상을 하는 방식 (Cycle reversing method)을 사용하고 있다. 이 방식은 부가적인 제상회로플 구성하 거나 히터를 첨가하는 등의 재료비 증가 없이 제상을 수행한다는 장점이 있으나, 시스템의 에너지 효율 측면에서 불리할 뿐만 아니라, 소비자의 입장에서 보면 제상운전이 진행되는동안에 따뜻한 바람이 공급되지 않아 쾌적한 공조를 제공받지 못한다는 단점이 있다. 본 자료에서는 먼저 제상방석에 관하여 그 종류와 특정을 알아보고, 최근에 진행되고 있는 착상 지연기술 중 어큐물레이터 내에 히터를 설치하는 방식(Viung C. Mei, et al., 2002, ASHRAE TRANSSACTIONS, V 108, Pt. 1)에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, thermal comfort and ventilation performance characteristics in the lecture room with the ventilation system and two different air-conditioning systems, system air-conditioner or fan coil unit, were evaluated by experimental and numerical methods. We compared the measured data with the computational results of the predicted mean vote and carbon dioxide concentration. Additionally the ventilation effectiveness was calculated numerically. From a viewpoint of the uniformity of PMVs in the lecture room, the thermal distribution performance of the system air-conditioner was more effective than the fan coil unit. Carbon dioxide concentration and ventilation effectiveness were barely affected by the type of the air-conditioning system.

  • The experimental and the numerical study was performed on the comparison of thermal comfort(TC) and indoor air quality(IAQ) in the lecture room for cooling loads when the operating conditions are changed. PMV value and $CO_2$ concentration of the lecture room were measured and compared with the numerical results. The numerical results showed a good agreement with the experimental one and then the numerical tool was used to analyze thermal comfort and IAQ for a couple of operating conditions. As a result it was found that the increment of the discharge angle of system air-conditioner makes TC uniformity worse, but rarely affects IAQ. Also TC and IAQ were hardly affected by the variation of the discharge airflow. Finally it turned out that TC is merely affected by the increment of the ventilation airflow, but the average $CO_2$ concentration can be satisfied with Japanese IAQ standards of classrooms when the ventilation airflow is more than $800m^3/h$ in this study.
