A Study of Development for Various Aircraft Simulator based on Single Platform (단일 플랫폼 기반의 다기종 항공기 시뮬레이터 개발에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 다양한 급의 항공기를 단일 플랫폼에서 모의할 수 있는 시뮬레이터를 개발하기 위해 표준 비행역학 모의모델의 구조 및 인터페이스를 설계하였다. 비행역학 모의모델은 다양한 급의 항공기를 모의하기 위해 공통적으로 적용할 수 있는 비행동역학 모델과 환경모델은 항공기 기종에 관계없이 동일하게 설계하였고, 엔진, 구동기, 비행제어, 랜딩기어 모델과 같이 항공기 기종에 따라 차이가 있는 모델은 사용자가 선택하여 사용할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 또한 복잡한 구조의 소프트웨어를 사용자가 쉽게 접근하여 수정/모의할 수 있도록 비행역학 모의모델의 입력파일을 텍스트 기반인 XML 형식으로 설계하였다.

  • Prior to the launch of COMS Satellite, the validation of the ground system for satellite operations has been performed using the real COMS, the satellite simulator and etc. In particular this paper will focus on the part of ground system test on which the simulator is used and it will present the usage, range and importance of the simulator utilization. Furthermore, it describes the practical experience on and its effect using Simulator for system validation, and suggests approaches to overcome a partial limitation.

  • Agricultural tractors are utilized on rough road such as rice paddy field. Therefore, static and dynamic load should be considered when simulating structural analysis with finite element analysis (FEA). But it consumes a lot of time and effort to measure dynamic load because of difficulty and complexity in modeling various field working load conditions and kinematics of machinery. In this paper, to reduce the efforts, 4-post road simulator is developed for agricultural tractor like modeling commercial vehicle. In proving ground test in our facility, I measured acceleration of front/rare axle and strain of body frame to validate input loads. The acceleration is used for defining input loads. And strain is validated with dynamics analysis including mode superposition method. As a result, I was able to calculate 4-post input road profiles, which represent similar proving ground profile with good reliability.

  • Recently, the cylinder of the excavator is applied in the various environment. So, we need the development of the simulator for the excavator. The simulator has the effects of the decrease of the cost and improvement of the cylinder's performance. In this paper, we design the simulator for the excavator and makes an analysis of the dynamics and structure. The simulator was applied to the excavator's models of 10ton, 20ton and 30ton because we built the data base of a real excavator's cylinder of information in the experiment. And we used the FEM analysis for the comparative study on the characteristics.

  • Vehicle driving simulators have been used in the development and modification of models. A simulator can reduce cost and time through a variety of driving simulations in the laboratory. Recently, driving simulators have begun to proliferate in the automotive industry and the associated research community. This paper presents the hardware and software developed for a driving simulator of construction vehicles. This effor involves the real-time dynamic analysis of wheel-type excavator, the design and manufacturing of the Stewart platform, an integrated control system of the platform, and three-dimensional graphic modeling of the driving environments.

  • The M-Method that measures the speed of actuator with counting the number of Reaction wheel Tacho Pulse has the many advantages such that a realization is simple and measuring time is uniform, but it also has the disadvantage that measuring speed becomes worse as the wheel speed goes lower. On the contrary, the T-Method that measures the time duration between the pulses is more accurate at lower-speed and its time delay is smaller than M-Method, but its realization is more difficult than M-Method because measuring time is varying with wheel speed variation. Thought M/T Method mixing M-Method with T-Method is widely used in order to measure the speed in the motor industrial area, one of two methods has been used in the spacecraft design area. Therefore, we try to apply both methods together to measuring the speed of Reaction Wheel, the core actuator for low earth orbit satellite. This paper provides the Reaction Wheel simulation board located in the Spacecraft Dynamic Simulator, ground support test set.

  • In this research, to get over restrictions of a field expreiment, we modeled a planning road through the 3D Virtual Reality and achieved data about dynamic response related to sector fluctuation and about driver's visual behavior on testers' driving the Driving Simulator Car with Eye Camera. We made constant efforts to reduce the non-reality and side effect of Driving Simulator on maximizing the accord between motion reproduction and virtual reality based on data Driving Simulator's graphic module achieved by dynamic analysis module. Moreover, we achieved data of driver's natural visual behavior using Eye Camera(FaceLAB) that is able to make an expriment without such attaching equipments such as a helmet and lense. In this paper, to evaluate the level of road's safety, we grasp the meaning of the fluctuation of safety that drivers feel according to change of road geometric structure with methods of Driving Simulator and Eye Camera and investigate the relationship between road geometric structure and safety level. Through this process, we suggest the method to evaluate the road making drivers comfortable and pleasant from planning schemes.

  • In this research a real time vehicle dynamic simulation software, to be used on real time vehicle simulators, is developed using relative coordinates and suspension super-element concept. Accuracy of the software is verified through comparisons of simulation results with those of a commercial mechanical system dynamic analysis package. It is demonstrated that real time simulation on a workstation with a 15 D.O.F. vehicle model is possible.

  • 컴퓨터에서 생성된 시뮬레이션의 결과는 컴퓨터 그래픽스 기술을 이용한 일련의 가시화 과정을 거쳐서 인간이 해석하기 쉬운 형태로 변형되게 된다. 최근에는 고성능 컴퓨터(HPC: High Performance Computer)의 발달로 인해 데이터의 크기가 점점 더 증가하는 추세에 있으며, 이런 복잡한 데이터를 해석하는 데는 클러스터 시스템을 이용한 고해상도의 디스플레이 장치가 필요하다. 하지만 이런 디스플레이 장치에서 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하는 방법은 VR(Virtual Reality, 가상현실) 환경을 활용하는 것이 거의 유일한 해결책이다. 하지만 현재 VR 환경에서 시뮬레이션 데이터 해석에 필요한 적절한 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하는 툴은 존재하지 않는다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이터 데이터, 특히 로터 동역학 분야의 시뮬레이션 데이터를 VR 환경에서 가시화하는 GLOVE 프레임워크의 통합 인터페이스를 소개한다. 이 인터페이스는 VR 환경에서 시뮬레이션 데이터를 실시간으로 상호작용을 통해 분석하는 데 필요한 기반 환경을 제공한다.
