Permeability of Jet Set Cement Concrete with Mineral Admixtures (광물질 혼화재를 혼입한 초속경시멘트 콘크리트의 투수 특성)

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the performance of jet set cement, which mixed with the mineral admixtures such as silica fume, fly ash and ground granulated blast furnace slag. First, the test of mortar according to the substitute ratio of mineral admixtures were evaluated. And then using it obtained from test results, it was conducted with experiment of mechanical, physical and permeable characteristics of concrete. Laboratory test results showed that concrete substituted for $5\%$ of silica fume didn't have an effect on prominent performance relating to compressive strength. However it was superior to concrete in case of resistance of chloride permeation.

Effect of Carbonation Threshold Depth on the Initiation Time of Corrosion at the Concrete Durability Design (콘크리트의 내구성 설계시 탄산화 임계깊이가 철근부식 개시시기에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The Carbonation, one of the main deterioration factors of concrete, reduces capacity of members with providing rebar corrosion environment. Consequently it suggested standards of all countries of world, carbonation depth prediction equation of respective researchers and time to rebar corrosion initiation. As a result of carbonation depth prediction equation calculation, difference of time to rebar corrosion initiation is 149 years and difference of carbonation depth prediction equation is 162 years when water cement ratio is 50%. So a study on rebar corrosion with carbonation depth will need existing reliable data and verifications by experiment.

  • 1930년 스웨덴에서 개발에 성공, 네덜란드에서 더욱 발전시킨 ALC(Autoclaved Light-weignt Concrete의 약칭) 는 가볍고, 견고하고, 그리고 시공이 간편한 경제적인 요건들을 충족시키는 건축자재로 세계적으로 널리 사용되고 있으며 , 국내에서는 불과 수년 전부터 연구 개발되고 있는 실정이다. ALC 란 시멘트와 규사, 생석회등 무기질 원료를 고온,고압으로 증기 양생시킨 경량의 기포 콘크리트 제품을 통칭한 것이다. ALC공정은 bulk ALC를 생산하는 batch공정과 이 bulk ALC에 대한 처리 공정으로 크게 나눌 수가 있으며 여기에서는 bulk ALC 처리 공정을 side shield treatment, anti-corrosion treatment, curing grate transferer, cutting station, curing car transportation, autoclave traveling platform, 및 packing 의 공정으로 세분하여 각 공정개요 소개 및 PLC(Programmable Logic Controller의 약칭)를 이용한 제어 system에 대하여 설명하고자 한다.

Flexural Toughness and Fatigue Behavior of Steel Fiber Reinforced Rapid-set Cement Concrete (강섬유보강 초속경시멘트 콘크리트의 휨인성 및 피로거동)

  • This study is conducted on the flexural toughness and flexural fatigue test to fine the mechanical properties of steel fiber reinforced rapid-set cement concrete. Experimental investigation is examined according to fiber contents(0, 0.4, 0.7, 1.0, 1.5%), fiber aspect ratio(58, 60, 83), fiber type (hooked, crimped fiber), and cement type (normal portland & rapid-set cement). The principal results obtained through this study are as follows; toughness and fatigue resistance tend to considerably increase with fiber contents, fiber aspect ration. And hooked fiber is improved better than crimped fiber. Concrete using rapid set cement is increased strength properties compared with concrete using normal portland cement, but relative strength properties behavior and fatigue resistance show a tendency to decrease a little.

  • This paper investigated the results of mixture proportion and compressive strength of concrete incorporating mineral admixtures. W/B and contents of mineral admixtures were selected as test parameters. According to test results, use of mineral admixtures resulted in a reduction of fluidity and air contents caused by increased fine particles and absorption effect of FA on reduction of AE agent. Thus, increase of SP and AE agent was needed to maintain the same fluidity and air content as plain concrete. At early stage, use of CKD was beneficial to the compressive strength while at 28days. incorporation of FA and BS had favorable effect on the compressive strength.

  • MOCK-UP TEST was conducted in the extreme region of the cement which was researched and developed by using the reducing slag Experimental results show that the basic properties (air volume, slump) are improved compared with the specimens using Mongolian cement. The compressive strength achieved the target strength (target strength: age 3day: 7MPa, age 7day 14MPa) and the hydration heat was about 8 ℃ higher than that of Mongolian cement products. Therefore, it is considered that the cement powders developed by our company showed the strength of concrete due to high hydration heat even at extreme temperatures.

  • In order to meet the high performance of the concrete, the viscosity increases with water binder ratio and amount of powder. because of these problems, we use high performance water reducing agent and low viscosity water reducing agent, but side effects may occur when using large amount of water reducing agent. Therefore, in this research, in order to increase the viscosity, I would like to analyze the change in viscosity and flow characteristics of paste by utilizing fly ash and lung limestone which are generally thrown away without using high performance water reducing agent.

  • In In this study, we measured the relative density and the compressive strength in order to select the appropriate W/B for the ultra-high strength concrete development. If W/B is lowered than the W/B of highest relative density, it was confirmed that the strength is lowered. However, if water is increased than the W/B, the relative density is decreased compressive strength was similar. The selection of the W/B of the lower than the highest relative density is not appropriate. Appropriate W/B is selected to be more than the maximum relative density of W/B. This was confirmed for TG-DTA.

  • In this study, it evaluate the strain properties of fiber reinforced concrete and fiber reinforced cement composite. The types of fiber are Hooked steel fiber and it was mixed 0.5, 1.0 vol.% in concrete and 1.0, 2.0 vol.% in cement composites. The impact test was conducted by using a projectile (diameter: 25mm, velocity: 170m/s) and strain properties on the rear side of each specimen was evaluated by strain gage. After the impact test, fracture grade, fracture depth was evaluated.

  • The metal spray method, one of the surface anti-corrosion methods to prevent the corrosion of the steel material, does little effects on the material, while it can be used on a wider surface. However, metal spraying is used only in a limited environment, and research on the case of using with concrete is lacking. The purpose of this study was to observe the corrosion behavior of steels with metal spray coatings in concrete using electrochemical methods And to evaluate the performance of the method according to the type of metal used in the metal spray. As a result, the Al metal spray coating showed the best performance, because Aluminum is oxidized in the cement mortar and forms alumina oxide film.
