Construction industry becomes large and complicated as that occurred in the construction processes and operations, and the growing social demand for more systematic and efficient methods of integrated management increases. Current facility maintenance system has been regarded as large labor-intensive and fairly stagnant, and faced on several issues including inefficiency in cost and time to collect and utilize various field information. Thus, this paper presents a maintenance prototype utilizing NFC technology and smart devices to efficiently collect and manage the field information in the course of the construction processes. By choosing dam facilities as a case study, construction data for dam inspection and maintenance were classified according to dam maintenance guideline, and database structure was constructed to incorporate with the NFC tags and smart device interface. The system prototype presented in this paper would improve the quality of the dam facilities maintenance system and provide business convenience and usability by contributing increased efficiency of field information management and sharing.

Web-Mail Services are implemented with SMTP and POP3 in these days. These web mail services provide not only the basic sending and receiving functions but also additional functions for user. However, the sent and received data are stored in the web mail server. So general web mail users can't process their mail data if they have not access ID for the web mail server. In this paper, we design and implement WMIS (Web Mail Integration System) using XML. In the proposed system, mail data and user's environments in the old web mail system are transformed into XML documents and inserted into database. In order to store XML data into database, we use dynamic document processing method and analyze XML file by record unit. When the users change their mail accounts, they easily can establish the web environments and their mail data. Because the transformed XML document is converted into WML easily, the WMIS can reduce development cost, labors and time.

The spatiotemporal database concerns about the time-varying spatial attributes. One of the important research areas is related to the support of various location-based services in motile communication environments. It is known that database systems may be difficult to manage the accurate geometric locations of moving objects due to their continual changes of locations. However, this requirement is necessary in various spatiotemporal applications including mobile communications, traffic control and military command and control (C2) systems. In this paper we propose the $B^{st}$-tree that utilizes the concept of multi-version B-trees. It provides an indexing method (or the historical and future range query Processing on moving object's trajectories. Also we present a dynamic version management algorithm that determines the appropriate version evolution induced by the mobility patterns to keep the query performance. With experiments we .;hi)w that our indexing approach is a viable alternative in this area.

A renewable energy resource data has the characteristic that its measurement value changes every moment. So the amount of primitive data which is produced by the change of time arevast. Therefore researches are needed for the construction of history database which can save and manage vast amount of history information of renewable energy resource data systematically, the estimation system of renewable energy resources. In this paper, to solve these problems, the estimation method of renewable energy resources is suggested. The method makes it possible to estimate momently changing data of the past systematically.

본 논문에서는 허밍기반 음원 검색 시스템을 위한 오디오 특징 시퀀스 데이터 색인 기법을 제안한다. 우선 Query-by-Singing/Humming (QbSH) 시스템의 특징 데이터베이스를 생성하기 위하여 MP3 와 같은 다성음원에서 주요 멜로디를 추출하여 시퀀스데이터를 생성하고, 고속 검색을 지원하기 위한 시퀀스데이터를 색인화한다. 본 논문에서는 최소 Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) 거리 기법, 시퀀스 추상화 기법, 상한 값 기반 DTW 기법과 같이 세 가지의 시퀀스 데이터의 색인화 기술을 제시하고 각각에 대한 문제점을 파악하고, 성능을 평가한다. 이를 통하여 향상된 검색 시간과 검색 정확도를 얻을 수 있다.

방대한 양의 데이터들 속에 존재하는 일관된 흐름이나 경향을 파악해 내는 데이터 마이닝에 대한 관심이 확산되고 있다. 특히 항목들 상호간의 연관성을 나타내는 연관 규칙과 시간 개념이 포함되어 항목들 사이의 순서를 찾아내는 순차 패턴의 탐사는 데이터 마이닝에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 트랜잭션 데이터베이스에서 연관 규칙과 순차 패턴을 탐사하는 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관하여 기술한다. 연관 규칙을 위해 Aproiri, DHP를, 순차패턴을 위해 AprioriAll등 기존에 연구된 대표적인 알고리즘들을 사용하였고, Windows NT상에서 Visual C++과 JAVA언어로 구현하였다. 편리한 사용자 환경 구축을 위해, 데이터의 입력 형식으로 텍스트 타입과 MDB(Microsoft Access)형태를 모두 처리할 수 있게 하였고, 출력형식은 스프레드시트이다. 입력 데이터로 실험 데이터와 통계청의 DB 이용 로그 데이터에 대하여 본 시스템 을 수행하였다.

Recently, much attention has been focused on video databases. Video documents also have a hierarchical logical structure like text documents. By exploiting this structure using structure queries, users can obtain greater benefits than by using only content queries. In order to process structure queries efficiently, an index structure supporting fast video element access must be provided. However, there has been little attention to the index structure for video documents. In this paper, we present a tree-structured video document model and a new inverted index structure for video documents. We evaluate the storage requirement and the disk access time of the scheme and present the analytical results.

인터넷 상거래가 활성화되면서 기업들은 인터넷과 접목하여 자사의 이익을 극대화 하는 방안을 모색하고 있다. 소비재를 생산하는 기업 및 중간 상인들은 일명 "쇼핑몰"을 구축하여 기업 홍보와 더불어 제품 판매를 시행하고 있으며 특정 기업은 상당한 가치 창출을 한 것으로 알려져 있으나, 자본재를 생산하고 거래하는 기업에서는 인터넷의 가능성에 대한 확신의 부족으로 투자를 꺼리고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 자본재 제품에 대한 정보를 구축.검색하는 제품몰을 개발하여 자본재를 생산하는 중소기업체들에게 인터넷 사업의 기회를 제공하고, 구축된 제품 정보 데이터베이스를 이용하여 제품간 유사성을 바탕으로 제품 검색자(바이어)에게 제품 정보를 제공하고자 한다. 이 연구의 결과로써, 기업은 자사의 제품에 대한 사양.특징.기술력 등을 인터넷을 통해 홍보하고 타사의 유사제품에 대한 정보를 제공받음으로써 제품 경쟁력 제고에 도움이 되며, 바이어는 전체적인 제품을 하나의 사이트에서 검색함으로써 정보 검색에 따른 시간을 절약하고 원하는 제품 정보와 함께 유사제품 정보를 제공받음으로써 제품 구매 판단을 위한 유익한 정보 제공을 기대한다. 제공을 기대한다.

J2EE 플랫폼의 핵심기술인 EJB는 서버 측 컴포넌트 표준 모델이다. 최근 들어 점차 이를 지원하는 도구의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 EJB 환경의 컴포넌트인 엔터프라이즈 빈즈를 생성하는 생성기 모델을 제시한다. 특히 이 생성기는 개발자의 개입이 많은 빈 관리 지속성 엔티티 빈 개발 시 자동화할 수 있는 매크로 기능을 가진다. 제공하는 매크로 기능은 크게 두 가지 부류로 구분할 수 있는데 데이터를 조작하는 부분과 엔터프라이즈 빈즈 환경을 조작하는 부분이 있다. 먼저 데이터를 조작하는 부분의 매크로 기능으로는 SQL 질의 관련 매크로(데이터 삽입, 삭제, 선택, 갱신) 및 데이터베이스 필드 변수 설정 매크로가 있고, 환경을 조작하는 부분에는 엔터프라이즈 빈즈 환경 접근 매크로, 홈 객체 획득 매크로, JDBC 연결 매크로 등이 있다. 사용자 측면을 고려한 이러한 기능들을 통해 개발 시간 단축, 노력, 경감, 오류 방지 등의 효과를 얻을 수 있다.

애니메이션 시장이 대표적인 제조업인 조선시장보다 크고, 게임시장도 최근 반도체 시장을 앞질렀다는 통계가 나왔다. 해리포터, 포켓몬, 아기공룡 둘리, 마시마로 등은 소설이나 만화원작에서 출발해 애니메이션과 영화, 게임, 캐릭터 등으로 재창조되며 어마 어마한 수익을 만들어내고 있다. 세계경제는 현재 제조업 중심에서 서비스업 중심으로 체질개선이 빠르게 진행되고 있으며, 그 중에서도 지식기반 서비스산업이 핵심적인 분야로 부상하고 있다. 특히 디지털기술이 빠르게 확산되면서‘콘텐츠 기반경제’로 이행 하고 있다는 전망도 나오고 있다. 이러한 변화에 어떻게 대응하는지에 따라 우리나라의 장래는 달라질 것이다. 이에 <디지털콘텐츠>는 국내 디지털콘텐츠 산업현황과 발전과제를 점검하는 시간을 가졌다. 이날 좌담회에 참석한 김근태 한국콘텐츠산업연합회장, 김주혁 한국무선인터넷솔루션협회장, 이용규 중앙대학교 교수, 임동근 한국게임산업연합회장(가나다순) 등 참석자들은 특히 게임 산업에 대해 목소리를 높였고 정부의 정책적 지원이 적절히 이뤄져야 한다는데 의견을 모았다.
