  • Today, It has developed actively e-learning according to web without time and place which increase of PC user with super-highway information network and various up-to-date information rapid growth. It has to provide the chance to student which will be able to practice and to think free and originative under liberal learning environment that learner can compose knowledge through various thinking by themselves. From the present paper, I would design e-learning system using TGT model of cooperative e-learning system that more effective studying through advantage of e-learning studying. I look forward to helping improvement of student's real ability as embody competitive games method by TGT model's basic theory of web-based.

  • We have experienced a great deal of change and development in CTS(Computerized Typesetting System) since the prepress market used the phototypesetting machines. The CTS has so many advantages - the shortening of processing time, the versatility of layout, the easy of changing layout style and the absence of pollutional source- as HT(Hot Plate Type) hasn't. Hut, as newspaper is faced with the new circumstances which is the emergence of competitive media and the expansion of economy theory, etc, the newspaper offices have solved the problems using the reduction and closing down of revision department for economizing expense account, the direct composition by editor this paper describes the vital point for direct composition and the design for the descriptive markup-based CTS.

  • After the establishment of the world's first design museum in London, design museums have - despite the criticism regarding commercialization and centralization - contributed to improving both the quality of life and the national competitiveness in establishing a design identity and promoting the excellence of design by preserving and cultivating the design industry. With the increase in the value of design in the cultural economy of the 21$^{st}$ century, the need for Korean design museums has been growing. Given this, the purpose of this study is to serve as a fundamental basis in introducing a new role and direction for future Korean design museums. In order to provide a foundation for such innovation, the evolved role and the promotional strategies of design museums are examined through the diachronic and synchronic approaches.

Online Non-preemptive Deadline Scheduling for Weighted Jobs (가중치 작업들의 온라인 비선점 마감시한 스케줄링)

  • In deadline scheduling, jobs have deadlines by which they are completed. The scheduling algorithm determines which jobs are executed at each time. Then only the completed jobs contribute to the throughput or gain of the algorithm. The jobs have arbitrary weights and the gain of the algorithm is given as the sum of weights of the completed jobs. The goal of the scheduling algorithm is to maximize its gain. In this paper, we consider online non-preemptive scheduling, where jobs arrive online and the scheduling algorithm has no information about jobs arriving ahead. Also the jobs cannot be preempted or rejected while they are executed. For this problem, we obtain lower bounds for any online algorithms and also we propose an optimal online algorithm meeting the lower bounds.

  • CALS/EC의 도입ㆍ활용은 생산 및 유통비용의 감축과 업무처리시간 단축 및 조직간 정보교환의 원활화를 통해 산업 및 국가경쟁력 향상에 기여하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이제 제조업이나 서비스업을 막론하고 세계화의 추세에 맞춰 국제적으로 경쟁력을 갖춘 기업으로 성장하기 위해서는 CALS/EC의 도입이 필수적으로 요구되고 있다. 우리나라와 같은 CALS/EC 후발국의 입장에서 볼 때, CALS/EC 도입 환경이 제대로 성숙되어 있지 못한 채 구체적인 도입 유형 및 방법론 등에 대한 연구가 취약하여 도입 관련 의사결정에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다. 결국 CALS/EC 도입 의사결정에 수반된 도입 목적의 파악 및 효과 측정방안, 대상요소기술의 선택, 적용 대상분야의 산정 등에 관한 구체적인 대안제시가 실무적으로 요구되고 있다. 본 연구는 위와 같은 문제점을 인식하고, CALS/EC 도입과 관련된 의사결정을 위한 기반연구를 수행함에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 CALS/EC가 그 유형별로 고유한 특성이 존재한다는 전제하에 우선 CALS/EC의 유형별 분류체계 정립을 시도하였으며 각 유형의 차별성을 부각하는 유형별 특성 모형을 개발 제시하였다. 다만 본 연구의 결과물을 근거로 수립될 구체적인 유형별 도입방법 및 절차는 후속연구에서도 다루기로 한다.

A Study on the Assessment of Current and Future directions for Clothing and Textiles (의류학의 현재와 미래의 방향에 대한 연구 -의류학과 교수의견을 중심으로-)

  • 간학문적 특성이 강한 의류학은 최근 급변하는 사회환경 즉, 학생들의 전문적 경험에 대한 요구, 패션업계와의 유기적 상호관계, 컴퓨터 등 과학기술의 발달, 사회의전문화, 세분화, 정보화, 세계화 등에 능동적으로 대처하여 의류학 졸업생들의 경쟁력을 강화시키기 위하여 보다 질적으로 향상된 의류학의 방향을 모색하도록 요구받고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 1) 의류학의 목표는 무엇이며 현재 강조되고 있는 분야와 교과목 및 취업기회는 어떠한지, 그리고 미래에 의류학이 당면할 수 있는 문제들은 무엇인지, 2) 프로그램이 어떻게 바뀌어졌으며 앞으로 어떠한 방향으로 발전되어 갈 것인가에 대하여 연구하고자 한다. 연구방법은 전국 43개 4년제 대학의 의류학 관련 교수 110명을 대상으로 설문지법을 사용하였으녀 회수된 58부(53% 회수율)를 SAS로 통계처리하여 Likert's method of summated ratings로 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 의류학의 목표가 가정중심의 복지 향상(M=2.5, SD=1.0)에서 의류학 분야의 전문인을 양성(M=4.8, SD=0.4)하는 것으로 변화하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 전반적으로 디자인 분야(M=4.8, SD=0.5)와 구성분야 (M+4.5, SD=0.7)가 풍부한 교과목과 함께 강조되고 있으며 디자인 분야의 취업성향이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 교과목이 많이 증설되었으며 (특히 디자인분야) 실험실습시간이 증가되고 인접학문 교과목과 현장실습경험이 증가추세에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 의류학의 발전을 위해 전문적 이미지 제고와 함께 졸업생의 취업기획의 증가, 의류산업체와의 인턴제도를 통한 산학협동, 그리고 컴퓨터 활용 증대 등이 요구되고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The Internet has changed the daily lives of human being in Korea and elsewhere in the world. It has changed the paradigms of traditional commercial activities and created immense opportunities for new business models. Recently, there has been much attention to the internet shopping mall as a means of commercial transaction. To make internet shopping mall competitive, effective customer satisfaction service should be provided and it is necessary to dynamic analysis method for customers' purchasing pattern. In this paper we apply the sequential analysis to comparison of two kinds of sales through the analysis of customers' purchasing pattern.

An Adaptive Back-off Algorithm in Beacon-Enabled LR-WPAN (비콘 기반 저속 WPAN에서의 적응적 백오프 알고리즘)

  • The Low-Rate WPAN is a short range wireless networking technology characterized by low-rate, low-power, low complexity and low-cost. The LR-WPAN controls wireless channel access among network devices based on the contention-based CSMA/CA algorithm. Therefore, frame collisions may take place at any time, leading to the severe degradation of network performance. This paper proposes a new algorithm that changes back-off periods adaptively in the CSMA/CA process depending on network conditions, resulting in the reduction of frame collisions. Throughout extensive simulations, it turns out that varying the back-off periods dynamically shows better performance than maintaining the fixed back-off periods.

  • This paper presents the determination of incentive level of Direct Load Control (DLC) program based on California Test. In the most of the Demand-Side Management (DSM) program, the variables art given by constant value during the DSM program's life time. But, in the case of DLC, variables are depen-dent on the executing number and time of the DLC per year. Therefore, we formulate a newly designed Cal-ifornia Test technique to overcome these problems and to apply effectively to the determination of incentive level of the DLC program. We perform case studies for various scenarios using a proposed formulation and review incentive level of the current DLC program. And we propose a plan to activate the DLC program in the competitive electricity market.

Thus, this study alms to review the effects. positive and negative. of such a trend on the design.
