실내에서의 화재 등의 재난 상황에서는 비장애인과 장애인 모두 시야 확보가 어려워져 안전하게 대피하기 어려운 위험에 직면하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 시각정보 부재 시에 보행자의 다양한 장애물에 대한 회피 및 충돌상황 방지를 위한 안전 기술에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 특히 주변의 다양한 위험 정보를 인지하기 어려운 시각 및 청각장애인들이 안전에 위협을 느낄 수 있는 복잡한 실내외 구조물과, 시시각각 변하는 주변의 장애물 환경에 대처하기 위하여 MCU를 활용한 보드에 진동 모터, 초음파, LED 센서를 장착하여 탈부착이 가능한 웨어러블(Wearable) 모듈을 제작하였다. 장애물 감지를 위한 센서부는 사용자의 상체부 전반에 장착되어 주변의 장애물들을 보다 넓은 범위로 인식하고 대처할 수 있으며, 이후 다양한 관제시스템에 활용 가능하도록 모듈과 사용자간의 인터넷 통신을 이용하여 실시간으로 시각 및 청각장애인들의 위험감지를 보호자에게 신속하게 알려줄 수 있는 시스템을 개발하여 그 가능성을 확인하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the safety awareness and safety behaviors of personal assistant for visual impairments. Method: This study was targeted at 263 personal assistant for blind people from May to June 2021. Research subjects who wished to participate in the study expressed their intention to participate through the recruitment documents and gave written consent before participating in the study. Result: First, the safety awareness and safety behavior were high among the personal assistants who had practical fire extinguisher practice experience and education on how to act in a disaster situation. In addition, when the emergency rescue method was educated, the life safety awareness and fire safety awareness were high, but there was no difference in the awareness of disaster safety, and the safety behavior was higher. Third, the higher the life safety awareness, fire safety awareness, and disaster safety awareness of personal assistant for the visually impaired, the higher the safety behavior. Conclusion: This study revealed that it is important to provide appropriate safety education to personal assistant and implement a program to raise safety awareness so that the visually impaired can live a safer life.

This paper provides a comparative analysis of the probabilistic versus deterministic view of accident and safety using the indigenous and cultural perspectives. Death and injury due to accidents is the leading cause of preventable death in most countries, including Korea. The first part of this paper delineates the limitation of the linear, deterministic model that has been adopted in social and applied sciences. The transactional model, advocated by indigenous psychology, is provided to understand the probabilistic nature of accident and safety at home, in the workplace and in society. Second, factors related to accidents and safety are reviewed. Third, application of the probabilistic model for preventing accidents and promoting safety in Korea is outlined.

최근 건설프로젝트가 대형화 복잡화됨에 따라 건설산업의 안전사고 재해자수는 매년 증가추세를 보이고 있다. 각 건설사에서 개발되어 활용하고 있는 건설안전관리시스템의 형식적인 운용과 참여자들에게 시각적인 자료 제공의 미비로 이해도가 떨어지는 시스템을 사용하고 있는 것이 주요 원인으로 분석된다. 따라서 최근 부각되어지는 증강현실시스템(Augmented Reality, AR)을 이용하여 실제 현장과 동일한 환경에서 시각화된 3D시뮬레이션을 통하여 사용자 이해도와 현장감을 높일 수 있는 시스템 개발이 요구되어진다. 본 연구에서는 건설안전관리 시스템의 효율적인 의사소통 지원이 가능하도록 개선된시각화 기술을 적용하여 "증강현실 기반 안전관리시스템"의 인터페이스 구성을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 건설안전관리의 이론적 고찰과 시스템을 분석하고, 시각화 개선을 위한 증강현실시스템을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 도출된 시각화 화면 구성요소를 조합하여 "증강현실기반 안전관리시스템의 안전대책 시뮬레이션 VIEW"를 제안하였다.

식품안전 사고가 발생했을 때 뉴스, 인터넷 기사를 통해 정보를 인지하기 전에 그 음식을 섭취하는 경우가 발생하는 문제점 최소화하기 위하여 실시간 트윗 분석으로 현재 발생한 식품안전 키워드와 어느 지역에서 발생했는지를 신속하게 파악하고, 키워드 연관관계 분석 프로그램을 활용하여 정확한 정보를 추출한다. 이와 더불어, SNS 등 다양한 정보 소스로부터 추출한 정보를 간단명료하게 파악하기 위해서 워드 클라우드 등 데이터 시각화 기법을 활용하여 시각화로 정보를 제공한다. 이 기법은 식품안전 뿐만 아니라 최근 발생한 콜레라 감염 발생과 같은 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

In this paper, an index of women's safety facilities was created and visualized using public data related to Seoul. CPTED, the women's safety facilities index was created by collecting and analyzing eight data related to the local women's safety index and five major crime victims of women. As a result of the correlation analysis between the factors of the female safety facility index and the number of female crime victims, three data were selected as the main factors, "CCTV," "street lamps," and "female security guardians", which were found to be meaningful at the 95% level of reliability. The distinction women's safety facility index was calculated by weighting the correlation coefficient between the main factors for calculating the women's safety facility index, and visualized using Python's Follium library.

시각장애인이 길거리에 나설 때 주변에 보행 안전을 위한 시설이 많이 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 시각장애인에게 전방의 장애물을 알려주어 안전한 보행을 위한 스마트 지팡이를 제안한다. 초음파센서를 통하여 사물을 감지하여 진동으로 보행자의 진로 방향을 안내하며 조도 센서를 통하여 다른 사람들이 원거리에서 인식 할 수 있게 발광 기능을 포함한다. 또한, 긴급버튼을 통하여 비상시 보호자에게 알릴 수 있는 통보기능도 내장하고 있다. 향후 소형화와 지능화를 통하여 사회적 약자인 시각장애인의 안전한 보행권을 확보할 수 있는 기술로 발전시키고자 한다.

It is very important to research drivers' visual behavior. Angle of vision is very important and accounts for more than 90% as the source of driving information. In curve sections, drivers can know the front circumstances and drive more safely and comfortably through facilities guiding their eye movements. Therefore, the standards of installation and effectiveness of these facilities to guide drivers' gaze need to be reconsidered considering characteristics of drivers' eyes The national road no. 34 (Jincheon IC, Buckamri-Yiriangmun section), which is a high-accident-frequency location, is chosen for experimental place. The aim of this study is to understand the process of drivers' visual movement which is drivers' visual behavior and to check the facilities to guide their eyes. Another goal of this study is to improve facilities to guide drivers' eyes on a result basis of considering drivers' visual behavior especially for traffic safety in a high-accident-frequency curve sections.

Pedestrians are the most vulnerable road users. According to one analysis of traffic accidents over a five year period, pedestrians accounted for about 40% of all road traffic deaths in South Korea. Although some policy and engineering approaches have been taken to reduce and prevent traffic accidents, the annual accident change rate is -0.7%, which is insufficient. This study verifies the effectiveness of presenting visual messages to pedestrians and the effect from adding auditory messages to the visual messages. The experiment was conducted on crosswalks adjacent to an intersection, and safety behaviors were recorded for a total of 898 pedestrians and considered sufficient. As a result of the study, overall pedestrian safety behavior improved when both visual and auditory messages were presented, rather than just visual messages. Therefore, the results indicate it is more effective to provide a mixed visual/auditory form of messages, rather than providing single stimulus messages.
