A Stable Time Error Correction using Time Synchronization Client over Internet (인터넷 시각동기 클라이언트를 통한 안정적 시각오류 보정 방법)

  • 컴퓨터 시스템은 주파수를 제공하는 수정발진자의 환경적 요인에 의한 오차 등으로 인해 정확한 시각을 유지하지 못한다. 정확한 시각 유지를 통해 외부 시각원으로부터 시각신호를 받아 로컬 시스템의 시각오류를 보정하는 시각동기 클라이언트를 이용하는 방법을 연구하였다. 정밀도 향상을 위해 다중서버 선택기능을 보강하였고, 지연시간에 따른 시각원의 가중치를 적용하였다. 특히 시각변화에 민감한 프로세스가 많은 시스템에서 시각 오류 보정시 시각의 급변은 시스템에 무리를 일으키므로 점근적 보정을 통한 안정적 방법이 필요하다. 이를 위해 축적결과기반 시각오류 보정방법을 적용하여 네트워크 지연의 급작스런 변화에도 분산을 통한 충격을 완화하여 안정적인 시각보정을 할 수 있도록 하였다. 시각오류 요인과 시각동기방법, 클라이언트 구현과 실험결과를 제시한다.

An EIBS Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Network with Life Time Prolongation (수명 연장 기능의 무선 센서 네트워크용 EIBS 알고리즘)

  • Since Time synchronization is also critical in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) like other networks, a time synchronization protocol for WSN called IBS(Indirect-Broadcast Synchronization) has been already proposed in 2012. As IBS operates in cluster tree topology, network lifetime may be mainly shortened by cluster head node[s], which usually consumes more power than cluster member (i.e. non-cluster head) nodes. In this paper, I propose enhanced version of IBS (called EIBS) which saves overall energy and prolongs network lifetime by re-constructing partial cluster tree locally. Compared with other tree construction approaches, this tree reconstruction algorithm is not only simpler, but also more efficient in the light of overall power consumption and network lifetime.

  • In this paper, a high speed code synchronization circuit is proposed. for fast code synchronization, matched filler method is used for initial code acquisition with two channel correlators. Particular frequency patterns of the limited number having the information about PN code start time are composed and transmitted repeatedly to increase the probability of accurate initial synchronization. And digital frequency synthesizer is proposed. And it's performance is analyzed theoretically. The analysis show that fast frequency hopping is possible in frequency hopping system that use digital frequency synthesizer.

  • 무선 센서네트워크에서의 시각동기는 MAC 계층에서부터 APP 계층에 이르기까지 거의 모든 계층에서 다양한 목적을 위해 매우 중요한 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 무선 센서네트워크에서의 에너지 효율적인 시각동기를 위한 실시간 클럭 스큐 추정 방법을 제시한다. 재귀적 최소제곱법을 통해 오프셋 보정 정보들을 얻을 때마다 클럭 스큐가 실시간적으로 추정 및 갱신되며, 아울러 스큐 추정을 위해 각 센서노드에 저장해야할 정보를 최소화한다. 제안한 클럭 스큐 추정 방법은 기존의 클럭 오프셋 보정 방법과 쉽게 통합될 수 있으며, 이 경우 보다 정확하고 효율적인 시각동기화가 가능해진다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험 결과를 통해 제안한 클럭 스큐 추정 방법을 통한 시각동기 정확도의 향상을 보인다.

  • 현재 많은 전력계통용 보호제어 벤더들은 변전소 자동화 국제표준 프로토콜인 IEC 61850을 적용한 전력 장비들을 개발하여 변전소에 적용하고 있다. 이러한 많은 장비들은 표준화된 IEC 61850 프로토콜을 적용하여 상호 호환성을 유지하였으며, 기존에 적용되고 있는 표준화된 기술들을 채택하고 있다. 변전소 장비들은 정밀한 시간 동기를 위해서 표준화된 시각 동기 프로토콜인 SNTP(Simple Network Time Protocol)나 NTP(Network Time Protocol)를 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 IEC 61850 프로토콜을 적용한 IED가 시각 동기 장치로부터 시간 동기화되는 방안에 대해 연구하였다.

  • A continuous and reliable electrical energy supply is the objective of any power system operation. A transmission line is the part of the power system where faults are most likely to happen. This paler describes the use of wavelet transform for analyzing power system fault transients in order to determine the fault location. Synchronized sampling was made possible by precise time receivers based on GPS time reference, and the sampled data were analyzed using wavelet transform. This paper describes a fault location monitoring system and fault locating algorithm with GPS, DSP processor, and data acquisition board, and presents some experimental results and error analysis.

  • 최근 공간정보 산업의 변화와 국내외 포털의 지도서비스 및 iPhone의 국내 진출을 계기로 공간정보에 대한 수요와 정책적 요구 사항이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 현재까지 개발된 모바일 매핑 시스템은 공공분야인 시설물 측량 및 수치지형도 수정갱신에 사용된 시스템으로 현재 민간 서비스 시장의 요구 충족에는 어려움이 따른다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 민간 서비스 시장 요구 충족을 목적으로 모바일 매핑 기술을 기반으로 필수 장치만 사용하여 시스템을 구성하였으며, geoSensor로 취득된 공간정보를 다양한 컨텐츠로 활용하기 위한 필수 요소인 취득 데이터간 동기화용 시각동기화 인터페이스를 구현하였다.

  • Recently, hybrid positioning system combining GPS, vision sensor, and inertial sensor has drawn many attentions to estimate accurate vehicle positions. Since accurate multi-sensor fusion requires efficient time synchronization, this paper proposes an efficient method to obtain time synchronized measurements of vision sensor, inertial sensor, and OBD device based on GPS time information. In the proposed method, the time and position information is obtained by the GPS receiver, the attitude information is obtained by the inertial sensor, and the speed information is obtained by the OBD device. The obtained time, position, speed, and attitude information is converted to the color information. The color information is inserted to several corner pixels of the corresponding image frame. An experiment was performed with real measurements to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed method.

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is the interconnection of uniquely identifiable embedded computing devices within the existing Internet infrastructure. IoT is expected to offer advanced connectivity of devices, systems, and services that goes beyond machine-to-machine communications and covers a variety of protocols, domains, and applications. Key system-level features that IoT needs to support can be summarized as device heterogeneity, scalability, ubiquitous data exchange through proximity wireless technologies, energy optimized solutions, localization and tracking capabilities, self-organization capabilities, semantic interoperability and data management, embedded security and privacy-preserving mechanisms. Time information is a critical piece of infrastructure for any distributed system. Time information and time synchronization are also fundamental building blocks in the IoT. The IoT requires new paradigms for combining time and data. This paper reviews conventional time keeping mechanisms in the Internet and presents issues to be considered for combining time and data in the IoT.

Development of Multi-Camera based Mobile Mapping System for HD Map Production (정밀지도 구축을 위한 다중카메라기반 모바일매핑시스템 개발)

  • This study aims to develop a multi-camera based MMS (Mobile Mapping System) technology for building a HD (High Definition) map for autonomous driving and for quick update. To replace expensive lidar sensors and reduce long processing times, we intend to develop a low-cost and efficient MMS by applying multiple cameras and real-time data pre-processing. To this end, multi-camera storage technology development, multi-camera time synchronization technology development, and MMS prototype development were performed. We developed a storage module for real-time JPG compression of high-speed images acquired from multiple cameras, and developed an event signal and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) time server-based synchronization method to record the exposure time multiple images taken in real time. And based on the requirements of each sector, MMS was designed and prototypes were produced. Finally, to verify the performance of the manufactured multi-camera-based MMS, data were acquired from an actual 1,000 km road and quantitative evaluation was performed. As a result of the evaluation, the time synchronization performance was less than 1/1000 second, and the position accuracy of the point cloud obtained through SFM (Structure from Motion) image processing was around 5 cm. Through the evaluation results, it was found that the multi-camera based MMS technology developed in this study showed the performance that satisfies the criteria for building a HD map.
