  • 본 논문의 목적은 매개변항(parameter)과 부분집합원리(subset principle)를 재귀대명사 구조분석 및 습득에 적용하여 보편문법(Universal Grammar)과 언어습득의 상호관계를 검토하는 데에 있다. 본 논문은 첫째, 재귀대명사 '자기'를 매개변항이론에 근거하여 분석하고, 둘째, 재귀사의 구조를 부분집합원리에 적용하여 '자기'의 습득과정을 관찰한다. 본 논문의 목적을 위해 두 가지 가설을 세워 실험적으로 검증하였다. 실험결과, 선행사자격 습득단계의 가설이 확증되었으며, 지배변항 습득단계의 가설은 결정적 증거가 미비해 앞으로의 과제로 남아 있다.

  • 외국어 습득 시 우리는 모국어와 배우려는 언어 사이에 존재하는 언어적 차이 때문에 많은 실수를 한다. 한국어와 독일어 사이에는 물론이고 언어사적으로 친밀한 관계에 있는 언어들 사이에도 이런 어려움은 있다. 본 논문에서 필자는 Erika Diehl(1991)의 연구를 바탕으로 외국어 학습자들이 독일어 명사변화 습득 시 이러한 어려움을 극복하기 위해 특정한 전략을 사용하는가 하는 문제를 다루었다. Diehl은 2차 언어 습득은 언어적 과도체계를 형성하며 이루어진다는 견해이다. 즉 학습자는 특정하고 동일한 학습자 언어를 형성하며 외국어를 습득한다고 한다. 그녀는 연구대상 언어로 독일어와 불어를 선택하여 불어 모국어 사용자의 독어 명사변화 습득을 관찰하여 이러한 실수의 원인으로 대비가정, 동일가정, 중간언어 가정을 든다. 그러나 불어 모국어 화자들이 2차 언어로서의 독일어 명사변화 학습 시행하는 실수의 정확한 원인이 간언어적 원인인지 언어내적 이유인지 정확히 규명할 수는 없었다. 필자는 본 논문을 토대로 한국어 모국어 화자들의 독일어 명사변화 습득과정을 살펴보는 논문을 계획한다.

The Influence of Age of Acquisition in Hangul Word Recognition (한글단어재인에서 습득연령의 영향)

  • The age of acquisition effect is the phenomenon in which the words acquired early in life are processed better than the words acquired later in life. Age of acquisition and word frequency are critical factors in lexical processing. In this study we examined the age of acquisition effects in Hangul word recognition. In Experiment 1, we examined the AoA effects in word naming and lexical decision tasks. The results showed that there was an interaction between task and age of acquisition. The AoA effects appeared only in the lexical decision task. In Experiment 2, we examined the relationship between age of acquisition and word frequency in the lexical decision task. The results showed that the two variables were significant. The early-acquired words were processed better than the words acquired later, and the words with high frequency were processed better than the words with low frequency. However, there was no interaction between the two variables. In Experiment 3, we examined how phonological changes in Hangul words influence the AoA effects. The results show that the AoA effects were similar whether phonological changes occur or not. Our results are discussed in terms of several theoretical hypotheses.

  • 유아기는 언어를 습득하는데 있어 가장 중요한 시기이다. 이런 중요한 시기에 언어를 습득하는데 흥미를 느끼지 못하고 학습에 쉽게 지루함을 느껴 올바르게 언어 습득을 하지 못하는 유아들이 많다. 이에 대하여 시각 정보와 청각 정보의 결합을 통한 멀티미디어 매체를 이용해 언어 습득에 대하여 올바른 유아 시기를 보내게끔 본 논문에서 제안하고 있다. 또한 햅틱 기술을 이용하여 학습자가 쓰기 학습에 흥미를 느낄 수 있게 하였으며, 피드백 과정을 통하여 올바른 언어 습득에 기여한다.

The Influence of Local, Organizational, and Relational Factors on Subsidiary's MNC Knowledge Adoption: The Case of Multinational Corporations in Korea (한국 진출 다국적기업 자회사의 지식습득 결정 요인에 관한 연구: 지식 획득원의 차이(본사 및 자회사) 비교를 중심으로)

  • This study examines antecedent factors that influence subsidiaries' MNC (multinational corporation) knowledge adoption. I argue that subsidiary local environmental factors(local embeddedness, level of local competition), subsidiary organizational factors(parent investment, subsidiary CEO expatriation, scope of subsidiary value chain), and subsidiary relational factors(subsidiary autonomy, the strength of subsidiary in MNC, social capital) are the important enablers for subsidiaries to adopt knowledge from other MNC units. Especially, I use two data set (knowledge from (1) peer subsidiaries, (2) parent company) to estimate the effect of the factors. The results indicate that subsidiary local embeddedness and scope of subsidiary value chain negatively influence on subsidiary knowledge adoption from peer subsidiaries. Conversely, the strength of subsidiary in MNC and social capital positively influence on that. Subsidiary knowledge adoption from parent company is positively influenced by parent investment and social capital.

A Study on Acquisition of English Subjunctive Mood in EFL College Students (대학생의 영어가정법 습득에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the process of Korean university students' acquiring the subjunctive mood. To research this, we will propose three subjects of study as below. First, what correlations exist between the general English ability and the English subjunctive mood acquisition? Second what difference is there in English subjunctive mood acquisition to gender? Third, what difference is there in the English subjunctive mood acquisition according to English proficiency? The subject of a sample survey was 36 female and 37 male students, 73 students in total, who take English courses as a required subject at 'C' university in Gwangju. The necessary data for this study was obtained by the questionnaires with 40 questions about the subjunctive mood. The data analyzing method was ANOVA(analysis of variance between groups) through the statistics program SPSS 12.0. When the results of the questions were analysed, there was no significant difference in the English subjunctive mood acquisition according to gender, but according to English proficiency, the English subjunctive mood acquisition was different: advanced-, intermediate- and low group.

그래프 탐색을 이용한 웹으로부터의 온톨로지 기반 규칙습득

  • 지능형 에이전트와 규칙기반 시스템을 이용해 보다 지능적안 웹 환경을 구축하고자 하는 노력이 시맨틱 웹의 발전과 함께 증가하고 있다. 이러한 에이전트와 규칙기반 시스템에 필요한 규칙들을 이미 많은 지식들이 산재해 있는 웹으로부터 습득 할 수 있다면 보다 효율적으로 시스템을을 구축하는 것이 가능하며, 이러한 응용시스템의 확장은 시맨틱 웹의 발전을 더욱 가속화하는 계기가 될 수 있을 것이다. XRML 방법론은 웹으로부터 규칙을 습득하기 위한 단계적 방법을 제시하고 있으며, 온톨로지를 이용함으로써 규칙의 구성 요소들을 자동으로 추출할 수 있도록 지원한다. 그러나 추출된 규칙구성요소들을 조합하여 완전한 규칙을 만드는 과정이 규칙관리자의 수작업에 의존하고 있다. 본 연구는 온톨로지와 그래프 탐색 을 사용함으로써 이과정을 자동화하고자 하는 연구이다. 온톨로지에 있는 규칙의 일반적 패턴을 기반으로 하여 그래프 탐색을 이용해 규칙구성요소들을 조합함으로써 웹 페이지로부터 자동으로 규칙을 추출할 수 있다.

Impact of Information Search on the Choice of Dental Institution (정보탐색이 치과의료기관 선택에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the importance of information sources for the choice of dental institution among consumers of dental service and the relationship between their demographic characteristics and information search pattern. And it's found that those who intended to use a dental institution were active in information search through human resources, and that the Internet was utilized as an additional means of information acquisition. Medical service suppliers should direct their energy into providing information in a diverse and efficient manner in order to address the buying needs of medical consumers and expedite their choice.

The Development of Postverbal Negation in Korean in a Korean-English Bilingual Child (한국어와 영어 두 언어를 동시에 습득하는 한국어린이의 한국어 후치부정어 습득에 대한 연구)

  • This study investigates the developmental process of Korean postverbal negation in a Korean-English bilingual child. The purposes of this study are firstly to find both common and divergent paths in the development of Korean postverbal negation in terms of both syntactic development and pragmatic uses of postverbal negation; and secondly to investigate explanations for the special pattern of development observed. The data were collected from one bilingual child (R) who is simultaneously acquiring two languages, Korean and English over two years between the ages of 5;00 and 700 (years; months). The data collection was carried out in four periods in two different environments: Periods I and III in Australia, Periods II and IV in Korea. The development of postverbal negation showed that when R was in Australia, she employed both L1 and L2 learning mechanisms, while when she was in Korea, she employed L1 learning mechanisms. The results reveal that L1 and L2 mechanisms are not basically different because R shows both forward and backward developmental features in conjunction with the two different language environments: Korea and Australia.

A Study on Acquisition of Korean EFL College Students' Indefinite Article (한국학생들의 부정관사 습득에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the process of Korean students' acquiring the indefinite article. To research this , we will propose two subjects of study as below. The first subject is that we will examine whether there will be any differences of the acquisition in the indefinite article between gender, male and female. The second subject is that we will examine whether there are any differences of the acquisition by the degree of proficiency at English. The subject of a sample survey was 115 female and 80 male students, total 195 students, who take English courses as a required subject at 'C' university in Gwangju. The necessary data for this study was obtained by the Questionnaires with 19 questions about the indefinite article. The data analyzing method was ANOVA(analysis of variance between groups) through the statistics program SPSS 12.0. As a consequences of this study we found that the side of the acquisition in the indefinite article between gender, male and female is closely related in the data result of the questions and the side of the acquisition by the level of proficiency at English has the meaningful data result of 14 questions at the questionaries.
