설계해석에 의한 SPRINGBACK 보정값 CAD 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Applying CAD of Springback Revision Value by Design Analysis)

  • In this study, using the stamping, analysis program, PAM STAMP, applied to the drawing result of springback analysis and draw analysis with applying on the best design planning as many times simulations from the initial stage of the die developing of automotive panels. Especially, after inspecting the design method with stamping analysis and springback analysis, write about the die development examples, using CADCEUS which is the software revising the amount of springback.

  • 복합재료 사이에 주파수 선택적 투과막(Frequency Selective Surface)을 삽입하여 동시경화 공정을 이용하여 주파수 선택적 투과 기능을 가지는 하이브리드 복합재료를 성형하면 재료들 간의 열팽창 계수와 강성의 차이로 인해 구조 내에 잔류 열응력이 발생하게 되고, 이로 인하여 스프링 백 현상이 발생한다. 따라서 복합재의 적층에 따른 영향을 알아보기 위해 복합재료의 적층각을 선택적 투과막(Frequency Selective Surface)을 중심으로 대칭과 비대칭 적층으로 적용하여 하이브리드 구조의 잔류 열응력을 예측하고, 이에 대한 스프링 백에 대해서 연구하였다.

차량 필러부품 프레스 금형설계를 위한 금형보정이력 정보 데이터베이스 구축 (Construction of information database with tool compensation histories for the tool design of a pillar part)

  • 본 논문에서는 차량용 센터필러 부품의 성형공정에서 발생하는 스프링백 문제를 해결하기 위한 일환으로 기존 부품의 금형보정이력 정보를 체계적으로 데이터베이스화하였다. 기존 부품의 경우 과도한 스프링백 발생에 의한 형상정밀도 불량을 해결하기 위하여 3차의 금형 보정을 현장기술자의 작업에 의하여 수행하였으나, 보정값이 정량화되어 있지 못한 문제가 있었다. 본 논문에서는 기존 금형 보정과정의 결과를 유한요소해석을 통하여 정량적으로 분석하고 보정이 의도대로 이루어졌는지를 평가하는 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 구축된 데이터베이스 정보를 활용하여 유사부품의 금형설계에 활용하였으며, 결과적으로 보정횟수를 감소시키고도 제품을 성공적으로 성형할 수 있었다.

혼합 등방-이동 경화규칙에 기초한 자동차용 알루미늄합금 및 Dual-Phase 강 판재의 스프링백 예측 (Spring-back Evaluation of Automotive Sheets Based on Combined Isotropic-Kinematic Hardening Rule)

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차용 판재 성형시 발생하는 스프링백을 정확히 예측하기 위하여, 수정된Chaboche형에 기초한 혼합형 등방-이동경화규칙이 개발되었다. 또한 판재의 이방성을 위하여 최근 개발된 Barlat의 YId2000-24 비이차 비이방성 항복 함수가 이용되었다. 단순인장실험과 인장/압축(압축/인장) 실험에 의하여 Bauschinger 및 transient 거동과 비이방성이 측정되었으며, 유한요소해석에 의한 구성방정식의 검증을 위해 실제 자동차 부품을 부분 변형시킨 double S-rail이 제작되었다. 수정된 Chaboche 형 조성방정식과 비등방 항복함수를 적용한 유한요소에 의한 수치해석의 결과는 굽힘에 의한 스프링백과 비틀림에 있어서 실험과 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다.

  • The effect of temperature on the forming limit diagram was investigated for AZ31B magnesium alloy sheet through the limit dome height test in the range from room temperature to $300^{\circ}C$. The formability of AZ31B sheet was improved significantly according to the increasing temperature. Also we studied the springback characteristics through the 2D draw bending test with different blank holding forces at elevated temperatures. Springback quantity was considerably reduced as temperature went up. The blank holding force in the range used, however, had little influence on springback. Experimental results obtained in this study may provide a material database for AZ31B sheet.

  • The fiber-reinforced composite materials have been advanced for various applications because of its excellent mechanical and electromagnetic properties. On their manufacturing processes, however, thermo-curing inherently produces the undesired thermal deformation mainly from temperature drop from the process temperature to the room temperature, so called spring-back. The spring-back must be removed to keep the precision of designed shape. In this research, the spring-back of {glass fiber / epoxy}+{carbon fiber / epoxy} unsymmetric hybrid composites were predicted using Classical Lamination Theory (CLT), and compared with the experimental data. Additionally, using finite element analysis (ANSYS), the predicted data and experimental data were compared. The predicted values by CLT and ANSYS were well matched with experimental data.

  • Recently the requirements for light weight and high performance of the automobile have increased. Especially, the plastic fuel tube makers have made their efforts to dove]op the various plastic fuel tube module with not only dimensional accuracy but also cost competitiveness. The experiment is performed to investigate spring backs for PA12 plastic fuel tubes in case of compound bending. In the experiment, steam bending process is adopted as bending method. In this study, the results we obtained are used to design the bending fixtures and the compound bending system.

실시간 스프링백 예측을 통한 보의 3점굽힘 적응제어기 설계 (Adaptive Three-Point Bending Controller Through Real-Time Springback Estimation for Beams)

  • In order to automate straightening process of deflected beams an adaptive three-point bending controller is studies which estimates and controls springback of beams under three-point bending. An analytical load-deflection model for three-point bending of beams with circular cross sections is derived nondimensionally. In spite of variation of material and process parameters this model can be applied to springback estimation by measuring real-time values of reactive load and deflection of the beam. A hydraulic punch stroke controller is designed to take real-time controls of the permanent deflection of the beam. The validity of the proposed system is verified through experiments.

스프링백 관측기를 이용한 축교정기 개발 (Development of Shaft Straightening Machine with Springback Observer)

  • In order to compensate for out-of-straightness of shafts, an automatic straightening process composed of an automatic measuring module, an automatic control unit and operating softwares was developed with a hydraulic press. The out-of-sraightness of each shaft was measured automatically in the measuring stage. An optimal pressure point was determined to minimize TIR value of the shaft according to press count of 3-points bending process. In the geometric adaptive control procedure, punch stroke and springback of the shaft were predicted by an observer using on-line measured values of press force and deflection amount I each press count. An automatic straightening machine was realized with the measuring module, the GAC module, PLD, IBM-PC and the operating software on the hydraulic press. the validity of the proposed straightening process was confirmed through a series of experiments with cam shafts.

  • A roller with a shaft and hot oil paths for pressing electrodes of polymer batteries were modeled and analyzed by FEM. There are many hot oil tubes in the roller and shaft, through which $72^{\circ}C$ hot oil flows for heating the surface of a roller and shaft. Thermal deformations and temperatures distributions of the roller and shaft were calculated and a convection boundary condition on surfaces was used. The influence of existence of a groove in the shaft on the flatness of a roller surface caused by thermal deformation was investigated. In addition, the amount of spring-back of electrodes under vacuum pressure and heating was calculated after the hot rolling process. It was shown from this study that the groove in one shaft had a favorable effect on the surface flatness.
