Analysis of a Causal Relationship between Collective Emotion and Behavior to Sport Issues in SNS (SNS에서의 스포츠이슈에 대한 집단감정과 집합행동의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyse a causal relationship between collective emotion and behavior to sport issues in SNS. For the purpose, 5 sports issues with obvious collective behavior and 5 concerned articles in typical portal sites were selected. From those, each 100 comments with highest recommendation and 5 obvious actions made by the crowd were sampled as the analysis subjects. The results of statistical analyses on collective emotion and behavior materials were as follows. First, collective emotions showed differences by the sports issues. Second, there was a significant causal relationship between collective emotion and behavior in SNS. This study could receive a favorable evaluation due to the statistical analysis on a causal relationship between collective emotion and behavior.

  • The purpose of this study was to empirically investigate the emotional dynamics among sport issues, social structure changes and collective behaviors with time-series analysis. For the purpose, the doping scandal of Tae-Hwan Park was chosen and simplified into 10 episodes. And replies and articles on them were analysed by time-series analysis. As the conclusions, first, there was a clear causal relationship between sport issue and sport emotion. Second, sport emotion was a social being which interacting with social process. Third, the sport emotional dynamics was confirmed. With this study, the sport emotion dynamics was empirically verified, but more statistical approaches would be needed for stronger evidences.

  • COVID-19, which started in December 2019, has had a great impact on our lives in general, including politics, economy, society, and culture, and activities in sports and arts have also been significantly reduced. In the case of sports, sports for all fields in which ordinary citizens participate were particularly affected, and cases of infection in places closely related to people's lives, such as gyms, table tennis, and badminton clubs, also amplified the social fear of the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed news articles related to sports for all at the time when COVID-19 was first spread, and investigated what issues were emerging and being discussed in the sports for all field under the COVID-19 situation. Specifically, we collected news articles dealt with sports for all issues under the COVID-19 situation from Korea's leading portal news sites and identified key sports for all issues by performing topic modeling on these articles. Through the analysis, we found meaningful issues such as COVID-19 outbreak in sports facilities and support for sports activities. In addition, through wordcloud analysis of these major issues, we visually understood the issues and identified the changes in these issues over time.

  • The study looked at a cross section of inter-Korean sports through the lives of female north korean defector. The researcher was a north korean national team player in the early and mid-1990s and defected to the north and played for the national team in South Korea. After her retirement, she became a coach, but felt limited and left the sports world. After analyzing the informant's interviews, the prevailing idea was that she was always politically used, and there was a regret that he was spotlighted as a defector rather than an athletic skill. And she was not in a position to choose between South Korea and North Korea. It was also shown that inter-Korean sports exchanges could not be developed unless economic conditions were supported. As a stranger, the research participants felt alienated and adapted to South Korea. Her life is an example of experiencing inter-Korean sports at the same time, and it is believed that she can have personal, specific, and concrete characteristics while showing universality in the upcoming era of unification.

The Exploratory Study for the Application of the Sports Field in the Fourth Industrial Revolution: Focus on the Social Big Data (4차 산업혁명의 스포츠 현장 적용을 위한 탐색적 연구: 소셜 빅데이터 활용 방안을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to introduce the case and to provide related information for the physical education major to handle and utilize the social big data through the exploratory study for the application of sports industry in the fourth industrial revolution. For this study, data was collected from the article database, which covers the keyword such as 'Social Big Data', 'Sports' and so on. The analyzed articles were 86 articles. As a results, The research on social big data applied to sports industry are as follows: 1) Analysis of major issues related to sports fans' interests and sports events, 2) A study on media sports engagement, 3) The prediction analysis of sports game based on the sentiment analysis, 4) Development of salary estimation model for professional player in sports, 5) Research trend analysis and so on. In conclusion, the social big data analysis technology in the sports industry and management can be utilized variously. Therefore, the specialists of the sports industry and management field need to learn the techniques, to acquire the know-how for the research project, to convert the convergence thinking.

  • 2005년 을유년 닭의 해가 새롭게 시작됐다. 지난해 모바일 게임 시장은 200%이상의 높은 성장률을 기록해 좋은 결과를 나타냈지만, 불법 복제 및 일부 게임회사에 집중되는 아쉬움을 나타냈다. 2005년에는 어느정도의 시장규모가 예측되고 , 또한 어떠한 이슈들이 기다리고 있는지 살펴보자. 어떤것을 전망하는 것은 참 어려운 일이다. 스포츠에서도 많은 전문가들이 예측을 하지만, 의외의 결과가 일어나듯이 모바일 게임 시장 역시 그때그때 상황에 따라 달라질 수 있기 때문이다. 요즘 유행하는 그때 '그때 달라요'라는 유행어가 2005년의 전망을 한마디로 표현할 수 있는 말이겠지만, 그래도 몇가지 이슈를 살펴보면서 2005년 모바일 시장을 가늠해 보고자 한다.

A Study on Social Issues and Consumption Behavior Using Big Data (빅데이터를 활용한 사회적 이슈와 소비행동 연구)

  • This study conducted social network big data analysis to investigate consumer's perception of Japanese sporting goods related to Japanese boycott and to extract problems and variables by recognition. Social network big data analysis was conducted in two areas, "Japanese boycott" and "Japanese sporting goods". Months of data were collected and investigated. If you specify the research method, you will identify the issues of the times - keyword setting using social network analysis - clustering using CONCOR analysis using TEXTOM and Ucinet 6 programs - variable selection through expert meetings - questionnaire preparation and answering - and validity of questionnaire Reliability Verification - It consists of hypothesis verification using the structural model equation. Based on the results of using the big data of social networks, four variables of relevant characteristics, nationality, attitude, and consumption behavior were extracted. A total of 30 questions and 292 questionnaires were used for final hypothesis verification. As a result of the analysis, first, the boycott-related characteristics showed a positive relationship with nationality. Specifically, all of the characteristics related to boycotts (necessary boycott, sense of boycott, and perceived boycott benefits were positively related to nationality. In addition, nationality was found to have a positive relationship with consumption behavior.

Market Trends Prediction of the Sports Industry (글로벌 스포츠 산업 트렌드 예측)

  • The aim of this study was to predict the global sports market trend to make developmental and strategic marketing planning for governments, enterprises and scholars. By participating in Delphi, 21 professionals from 12 countries came up with 51 foresights. In addition, the following 7 final results emerged after 3 rounds of discussion. First, integrity issues (e.g., doping and gambling) will increase in the sports industry. Second, the market of youth sports will continue to grow worldwide. Third, the health-oriented sports service will growth, particularly for seniors or people with less wealth. Fourth, the convergence with high-technology, culture and leisure activity will be accelerated. Fifth, mega sports events will receive increasing scrutiny and criticism. Sixth, the leverage of new media (e.g., social media) as well as old media (e.g., TV and magazines) will expand in the sports industry. Finally, globalization, which is similar to the culture phenomenon, will be accelerated in the sports industry.

  • Today's sports, by themselves, express a wide variety of phenomena and reproduce or imply complex social symbols. The definition of sports being transformed in combination with ideology, which has become a central issue in each era, has become more diverse in recent years. Recently, with the 4th Industrial Revolution leading the social phenomenon, sports culture is producing a new phenomenon. In this era, we need the study in the question of how to understand and interpret sports culture is the right approach. The struggle for survival in each discipline was expressed as a reinterpretation of sports culture. This is to answer questions about how sports culture is consumed, spread and reinterpreted. The purpose of this study is to find out the direction and directing point of sports culture. Based on such problem recognition, five types of answers to what sports culture consumes were presented. Based on this, the fairness related to school sports, sports society-club(sports clubs), sports events, sports media, and sports was suggested as a medium for the spread of sports culture. We are accepting and transforming numerous scientific civilizations to improve sports culture and to promote consumers. However, there is a pity not to define such a thing. Efforts at a more fundamental level, such as cultural regulation and fundamental directions, need to be discussed. The framework of reinterpretation of sports culture should be constantly looking for directions and answers about what to do, not just the level of interpretation.

  • 스포츠 산업 응용 분야에서 공의 실시간 품질검사는 산업 생산성과 경쟁력 견지에서 중요한 이슈이다. 컴퓨터 비전 기반 자동 품질검사는 이 문제를 해결하는 하나의 방법이다. 머신 비전 시스템은 품질관리 및 산업프로세스의 실시간 피드백을 주어, 물리적인 제한과 사람의 주관적인 판단을 극복할 수 있다. 컴퓨터비전 기반 시스템에서 디지털카메라에서 취득되는 디지털이미지는 주로 24-비트 컬러이미지이다. 이처럼 많은 레벨을 가지는 이미지분석은 복잡한 이미지 처리기법을 필요로 한다. 그러나 실시간 애플리케이션에서, 한 부분은 실시간으로 검사되어져야 한다. 이 논문에서는 최적의 임계값을 사용하여 스포츠산업계의 산업요구 사항을 만족하는 골프공 품질검사 시스템을 개발하였다.
