  • 가상현실 기술과 IoT 센서와 연결하여 스마트 항만 원격조정하는 프로그램을 설계하였다. 스마트 항만은 항만 자동화 추세에 맞춰진 현대의 항만 시스템이며 그에 따른 기술력 확보가 국가의 경쟁력을 높이는 핵심이 된다. 아두이노로 하드웨어를, 유니티로 소프트웨어 부분을 설계하여 진행했다.

  • 여가활동 및 가족단위 관광활동의 증가로 인하여 해양관광활동에 대한 국민적 관심이 높아지면서 해양레저에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있으나 그에 따른 제반시설 구축이 현저히 적으며, 해양레저 활성화를 위한 인프라 구축 방안으로 추진 중인 마리나 육성계획이유휴시설 발생 및 중복개발로 인한 예산낭비가 우려되고 있어 국내 마리나 항만에 적합한 관리시스템 및 서비스 개발이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 요트의 운용상태 및 항해정보를 스마트기기 내장 S/W로 관리함과 동시에 이동통신망을 이용하여 마리나 관제시스템에 전송하고, 마리나 센터로부터 항해와 안전에 관한 다양한 정보를 제공받아 요트 사용자에게 알려줌으로 요트를 운항하는 사용자가 편리하고 안전하게 요트를 운용, 관리, 항해할 수 있도록 지원 가능한 스마트 기기 기반의 시스템을 설계하고자 한다.

  • In the past, regional pilot service is provided by individual pilots directly on board each ship, but it will be difficult to provide this type of service in the near future when autonomous vessels are activated. This can be seen as the need for automation and intelligence of pilot service and provision of remote control system. In this paper, we propose a method, system, and service target that can carry out the electronic pilot service through the intelligence aids to navigation for smart port operation.

A Study on Forecasting Manpower Demand for Smart Shipping and Port Logistics (스마트 해운항만물류 인력 수요 예측에 관한 연구)

  • Trend analysis and time series analysis were conducted to predict the demand of manpower under the smartization of shipping and port logistics with transportation survey data of Statistic Korea during the period from 2000 to 2020 and Statistical Yearbook data of Korean Seafarers from 2004 to 2021. A linear regression model was adopted since the validity of the model was evaluated as the highest in forecasting manpower demand in the shipping and port logistics industry. As a result of forecasting the demand of manpower in autonomous ship, remote ship management, smart shipping business, smart port, smart warehouse, and port logistics service from 2021 to 2035, the demand for smart shipping and port logistics personnel was predicted to increase to 8,953 in 2023, 20,688 in 2030, and 26,557 in 2035. This study aimed to increase the predictability of manpower demand through objective estimation analysis, which has been rarely conducted in the smart shipping and port logistics industry. Finally, the result of this research may help establish future strategies for human resource development for professionals in smart shipping and port logistics by utilizing the demand forecasting model described in this paper.

  • Today's port system,; require larger and faster operation of transfer cranes in order to accommodate rapidly increasing traffic. These cranes need precise control of their components for operational efficiency. This paper presents an IEEE 1451 based smart module that allows numerous sensors and actuators of the crane to attach themselves to various networks more easily. The smart module has been experimentally evaluated on a CAN network for its performance.

  • Smart Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship(MASS) is aiming to provide eco-friendly smart maritime navigation service based on safety, reliability and efficiency for maritime safety and marine environment protection. In the future, it is expected to bring about a radical change across the marine industry such as marine, maritime, port, logistics, ship-building and so forth. Therefore, in this paper, policy priorities related to the introduction of MASS were identified, and response strategies for each industry were set up, and a policy plan for establishing a smart maritime logistics system covering shipping, port and shipbuilding fields was proposed.

  • The changes caused by the 4th industrial revolution are accelerating the convergence of technologies due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. As a result, rapid changes are expected in various fields of society and industry. The shipping and logistics industry is also in urgent need of smartization due to changes in environment and technology. However, in the case of Korea, the smartization of shipping and logistics technology is insufficient compared to that of advanced countries. For smartization for complex business processing with many related entities, smooth communication and visual confirmation using the latest technologies are becoming important. Such visualization and communication will become more important in smart shipping and logistics This study intends to present an integrated communication tool between self-driving ships and container terminals for the realization of smart shipping and logistics. In particular, a study was conducted on the development of a digital twin-based communication tool that satisfies the requirements of ship berthing and loading/unloading operations in which various actors participate and process complex tasks.
