  • 4차 산업혁명으로 시작된 해상물류 부분의 스마트 기술 도입은 무인 자동화 항만에 이어 데이터 기반과 인공지능(AI) 등의 최적화를 통한 생산성과 효율성을 높이는 방향으로 진행되고 있다. 이에 우리는 다양한 최신 IT 기술을 사용하여 기존 해양물류 프로세스를 최적화할 수 있는 해양물류 통합플랫폼을 설계하고자 한다. 제안하는 시스템은 해양 물류 주체들간의 원할한 데이터 전송 및 연계를 지원하여 기존 단절된 구간을 연계하는 최적의 물류 프로세스를 생성할 수 있다. 또한 사용자가 손쉽게 물류 프로세스를 생성할 수 있는 기능을 제공하여 사용자 맞춤형 물류 프로세스를 통해 효율적인 해양물류 프로세스 운영이 가능하다.

  • IHO S-100(범용 수로 데이터 모델)은 차세대 전자해도 뿐만 아니라 수로 분야, 해사 분야, GIS 커뮤니티에서 필요로 하는 전자적 제품 개발을 위한 데이터 프레임워크를 제공하는 표준이다. 또한, S-100의 보안 영역(Part 15)은 기본적인 보안 이론을 명시하고 사용을 권장하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 S-100과 SECOM을 기반으로 서비스별 보안 적용이 된 시뮬레이션을 명시하였으며 각 서비스별 사용자 인증 절차 및 관리체계에 대하여 정의한다.

  • 자율운항선박 등 스마트선박에서 항로상의 해양환경 상태를 관측·예측하는 과정은 필수요소이며 선박 통신을 고려했을 때 선박자체에서 취득할 수 있는 정보만을 이용하여 의사결정이 가능하도록 해양환경 정보를 생산하는 기술이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 짧은 시간 내에 해상 변화를 예측할 수 있는 인공지능(딥러닝)기반의 예측기법을 개발하였다.

  • An All-in-one LED lantern is a light device to determine the fairway of ships in operation. The current all-in-one LED lantern powered by solar energy is challenged by insufficient power capacity due to limited sun hours. This article presents an all-in-one 9-Nautical mile LED lantern driven by solar and wind power that is abundant maritime renewable energy. Furthermore, the remote smart monitoring system is developed. A smart control system capable of remote control of the lantern was implemented by using the LED lantern device and monitoring system as IoT. This technology that realtime condition monitoring and remote control are developed for safe ship navigation. We expect that maintaining the accuracy and consistency of LED lanterns prevents marine accidents and reduces social costs.

  • This study aims to develop a digital twin and big data-based port infrastructure control system that reflects smart maintenance technology. It is a technology that can evaluate aging and disaster risk by converting heterogeneous data such as sensing data and image data acquired from port infrastructure into big data, visualized in a digital twin-based control system, and comprehensively analyzed. The meaning of big data to express the physical world and processes by combining data, which are the core components of the virtual world, and the matters to be reflected in each stage of securing, processing, storing, analyzing and utilizing necessary big data, and we would like to define methods for linking with IT resources.

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the current status of cyber security at the Busan Port container terminal and derive strengthening factors through exploratory research. In recent years, the maritime industry has actively adopted Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, resulting in changes in the form of ports, such as automated and smart terminals. While these changes have brought positive improvements in port efficiency, they have also increased the potential for cyber security incidents and threats, including information leakage through cargo handling equipment and ransomware attacks leading to terminal operations disruption. Especially in the case of ports, cyber security threats can have not only local effects within the port but also physical damage and implications for national security. However, despite the growing cyber security threats within ports, research related to domestic port cyber security remains limited. Therefore, this study aimed to identify factors for enhancing cyber security in ports and derive future enhancement strategies. The study conducted an analysis focusing on the Busan Port container terminal, which is one of the leading ports in South Korea actively adopting Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, and conducted a survey of stakeholders in the Busan Port container terminal. Subsequently, exploratory factor analysis was used to derive strengthening factors. This study holds significance in providing directions for enhancing cyber security in domestic container ports in the future.

  • By actively adopting technologies from the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the port industry is trending toward new types of ports, such as automated and smart ports. However, behind the development of these ports, there is an increasing risk of cyber security incidents and threats within ports and container terminals, including information leakage through cargo handling equipment and ransomware attacks leading to disruptions in terminal operations. Despite the necessity of research to enhance cyber security within ports, there is a lack of such studies in the domestic context. This study focuses on Busan Port, a representative port in South Korea that actively incorporates technology from the Fourth Industrial Revolution, in order to discover variables for improving cyber security in container terminals. The research results categorized factors for enhancing cyber security in Busan Port's container terminals into network construction and policy support, standardization of education and personnel training, and legal and regulatory factors. Subsequently, multiple regression analysis was conducted based on these factors, leading to the identification of detailed factors for securing and enhancing safety, reliability, performance, and satisfaction in Busan Port's container terminals. The significance of this study lies in providing direction for enhancing cyber security in Busan Port's container terminals and addressing the increasing incidents of cyber security attacks within ports and container terminals.

Research on optimal safety ship-route based on artificial intelligence analysis using marine environment prediction (해양환경 예측정보를 활용한 인공지능 분석 기반의 최적 안전항로 연구)

  • Recently, development of maritime autonomoust surface ships and eco-friendly ships, production and evaluation research considering various marine environments is needed in the field of optimal routes as the demand for accurate and detailed real-time marine environment prediction information expands. An algorithm that can calculate the optimal route while reducing the risk of the marine environment and uncertainty in energy consumption in smart ships was developed in 2 stages. In the first stage, a profile was created by combining marine environmental information with ship location and status information within the Automatic Ship Identification System(AIS). In the second stage, a model was developed that could define the marine environment energy map using the configured profile results, A regression equation was generated by applying Random Forest among machine learning techniques to reflect about 600,000 data. The Random Forest coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.89, showing very high reliability. The Dijikstra shortest path algorithm was applied to the marine environment prediction at June 1 to 3, 2021, and to calculate the optimal safety route and express it on the map. The route calculated by the random forest regression model was streamlined, and the route was derived considering the state of the marine environment prediction information. The concept of route calculation based on real-time marine environment prediction information in this study is expected to be able to calculate a realistic and safe route that reflects the movement tendency of ships, and to be expanded to a range of economic, safety, and eco-friendliness evaluation models in the future.

  • 본 논문에서는 작은 화면의 스마트 폰에서 볼 수 있는 전자책을 구성하였다. 대부분의 전자책이 PDF 파일과 같이 기존의 종이책을 단지 정보처리 기기에서 보는 개념의 채용 형태이거나 제한된 규정을 통해 구성된 내용을 스마트 폰보다 화면이 큰 전용 단말기를 통해 보도록 되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 PDF나 웹 형태가 아닌 앱 형태로 컴퓨터보다도 널리 퍼져있는 스마트 폰을 통해 책을 보도록 하였다. 현재 전자책의 실질적 표준 역할을 하는 EPUB는 전용 단말기를 이용한 전자책도 텍스트형 콘텐츠 또는 잡지형 콘텐츠로 정보 처리 기기의 다양한 기능을 살리지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 앱을 이용한 전자책의 초기 시도로 기존 책의 구성을 가능한 지키면서 앱의 다양한 능력을 통해 많은 편리성을 살리는 한편 특히 본문은 작은 화면에 많은 정보를 담는 것은 책을 읽는 독자에게 무리한 요구를 하는 것이므로, 본문의 내용과 관계된 이미지를 의미 단위로 토막을 내고 이를 항, 절, 장으로 구분지어 태그를 붙여 데이터베이스에 저장한 후 태그를 기반으로 본문 화면에 시간차를 두고 자동 출력하도록 하는 시도로 사용자의 편리를 도모하였다.
