Recently, research and development on agricultural robots have been on the rise as the interest in smart farming has increased. Robots used in smart greenhouses should be taken into account with the working characteristics and growing environment. This study examined cleaning robots developed through the environmental analysis of smart greenhouses. This study assessed the evaluation method considering the requirements of the pest control robot applicable to the smart greenhouse. The performance and quality assessment criteria were established to conduct tests through the requirements of robots. The required functions and goals of the pest control robot were derived by referring to the robot-related standards. A driving and working ability test was conducted to assess the performance of the robot. The driving test was conducted on the driving performance of the robot and the work capability was tested on the pest control performance. In addition, a durability test was conducted to assess the quality of the robot. The required factors for smart greenhouse robots were derived from the test results. The study results are expected be a standard for an evaluation of a variety of robots for applications to smart greenhouses.
Under the great influence of ICT technology, China is forging ahead steadily and rapidly in the area of smart farming. In the last decade, Chinese government has carried out strategic plans to promote its economic development in agriculture, such as the plan of Made In China 2025 and One Belt One Road initiative. This thesis's objective is to analyze how such plans and initiative can provide 'windows of opportunity' to the development of smart farming industry in China. China led the development of smart agriculture by making a T-shaped rise which is composed with 'One Belt One Road Initiative and Made in China 2025 Plan. This thesis is divided into three types as path-following catch-up, path-skipping catch-up, path-creating catch-upAs this thesis also manages to provide some implications on the export strategies of South Korea's smart farming industry by understanding chinese samrt farm industry.
Recently, research and system using AI is rapidly increasing in various fields. Smart farm using artificial intelligence and information communication technology is also being studied in agriculture. In addition, data-based precision agriculture is being commercialized by convergence various advanced technology such as autonomous driving, satellites, and big data. In Korea, the number of commercialization cases of facility agriculture among smart agriculture is increasing. However, research and investment are being biased in the field of facility agriculture. The gap between research and investment in facility agriculture and open-air agriculture continues to increase. The fields of fruit trees and plant factories have low research and investment. There is a problem that the big data collection and utilization system is insufficient. In this paper, we are proposed the system for determining the fruit tree growth stage using a deep learning-based object detection model. The system was proposed as a hybrid app for use in agricultural sites. In addition, we are implemented an object detection function for the fruit tree growth stage determine.
Agricultural sector in Korea faces the threat of aging farmers and many other difficulties. Because agriculture is a very less-competitive industry in Korea and many solutions to improve the competitiveness of Korean agriculture should be studied. The advent of Internet of things(IoT) technology makes possible many new industries and business models in the current society. The adoption of this new technology in agriculture can bring about innovations in agricultural production and distribution as $6^{th}$ industry. This paper summarizes the opportunities in IoT and smart farm. The major benefits and obstacles in introducing smart farms are reviewed and the cases of two successful smart farms in Korea are analyzed. Through these case studies, we can recognize the current status and future strategies in Korean smart farms.

Recently, the growth control of crops is developed as one of essential factors for smart agriculture based on ubiquitous sensor network. It is reason of easiability for control of product quantity and management of product quality. In this paper, scenario of smart agriculture is investigated for domestic and foreign countries and currently used sensor data technologies is compared to support a series of technological systemization works for sensor data field of smart agriculture. The results of this paper can be used as basic data for smart agriculture standardizations which is currently under progress at domestic and abroad.

The standard of the greenhouse control system defines the components in applying IT technologies to a greenhouse and specifies the requirements and the architecture for the technological issues. The system collects information for the growth management of corps and can control the facilities promoting the optimal growth environments in greenhouse. This system includes the growth environment management service, the growth environment control service, and etc. In this paper, it is required to consider the actualized IT convergence case for agriculture, namely Smart Farming as a solution to cope the presented problems. In addition, suggest to standard functional model and standardization items for the smart farming based on network.
