  • This paper proposed CHELS-App that Smart-phone APP optimized cultural heritage experiential learning is configured can learning and sightseeing at the same time with experience the cultural heritage and enjoying the mission through quests to take advantage of the Smart-phone. CHELS-App is provide a guide maps by using the location-based service and cultural commentary(commentary, photos, quizzes, games, cartoon) with capability of event push about the Jongmyo Shrine as world heritage, and configured with capability of experience diary create and foot stamp through these experiences.

  • Smart phones are very convenient for communication, but you need to not to forget to change to silent mode when you go to church or cinema. Many people used to forget changing their cell phones to silent mode. In this paper, we have developed an android smart phone app. for automatic changing silent mode, which exploited smart phones' GPS and computing capability. According to the GPS location data and time, this app. will automatically change a cell phone to silent mode. We believe that this app. would provide us a lot of convenience.

  • 본 연구는 교육현장의 교수자가 직접 앱 저작도구를 이용하여 교안 및 교육 내용을 개발하여 학생들이 시간과 장소에 상관없이 효율적인 학습을 하도록 하는데 있다. 현재 스마트폰이나 태블릿을 이용한 교육에 관심이 많으나 영역 전문가인 교사와 프로그램을 개발하는 개발자 사이에 의사 교환의 어려움 등으로 인해, 만족스러운 양과 질의 컨텐츠 개발이 이루어지고 있지 않다. 따라서 교수자는 앱을 프로그래머에 의뢰하지 않고 저작도구를 이용하여 DIY(Do It Yourself) 앱을 개발함으로서 학습내용을 충분히 만족하며, 강의 진행중에서 컨텐츠 변경이 용이하며, 교수자와 학습자와의 커뮤니케이션의 효과와 학습능률을 높이고자 한다.

  • In this paper, we aim to respond efficiently to crime by using Arduino and smartphone apps in response to increasing number of house-breaking crimes. It receives the signal of the sensor installed in the house and connects it with the app of the smartphone. To use the app, you can download the app from the user's smartphone, launch the app, and operate the operation outside the home, not only inside the house, by linking the executed app. Among the sensors installed in the house, the movement detection sensor is used to enhance the security, and the gas leakage sensor and the flame detection sensor can be used to easily detect the risk of fire and to prevent the fire early. Security is further enhanced by the ability to remotely control the front door with a smartphone. After that, various sensors can be added and it can be developed as a WiFi module in addition to the Bluetooth module.

A Study of Factors Affecting Mobile Application Download (모바일 애플리케이션 다운로드에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Mobile applications are significantly impacting people's smart phone using behavior and mobile industry value chain. By examining sources of data on mobile applications use, this study presents evidence about what factors would affect the amount of apps download, which may be useful to guide app designers and publishers to develop more persuasive new apps and marketing strategies. The results indicated app ranking had effect on download amount of apps in both Android app market and Apple app store, while prices of apps had no impact on the amount of download. App type, developer experience, and locality had effect on the amount of download only for paid apps in Apple app store.

  • Smartphone used to be an it item for only business people and early adaptors. However, the public interest towards Smartphone has been rapidly increased and now is spreading to the everyday life in general people. Variety of applications are introduced and registered in a day, but there are not enough apps with simple and useable interface. This is because that the applications are developed only in a view from developer and designer to match the splendor design and technical skills of apps not concerning the users. Therefore this study will analyze the value in use and design trend of registered apps in apps store to recognize the importance in use and also to discuss about a plan to apply this into the apps more effectively. In order to improve the mobile app usability, this study suggest that using intuitional icon, designing easy to use app navigation. This will lead to produce clear instruction for app developers and designers with more reliable effects in the future of Smartphone world.

  • The interactions between a professor and students are very important in humanities classes A professor could not exchange opinions with students especially in large-scale classes. We have developed a smart phone app. in order to overcome the lirnit of interaction between a professor and students in large-scale classes. The app we have developed in this paper have exploited smart phone's data processing and wireless communication ability. In this paper, we showed that smart phone could be an useful tool for increasing the education effect of large-scale classes.

  • 본 논문에서는 TCP 소켓을 이용해서 스마트폰의 GPS 및 3G/4G, WiFi 기능으로 위치전송을 통한 미아, 치매노인 찾기 및 약속잡기 App에 관해 제안한다. 이 App은 스마트폰 등 정보기기의 발달로 인한 가족 간의 대화 단절, 실종 및 비정상적이고 비윤리적인 사회문제를 해결하는데 이의를 둔다. App을 통해 온 가족을 하나의 그룹으로 묶어 그룹 간에 일정을 공유할 수 있고, 채팅 기능을 통해 가족의 대화를 유도해 효율적인 의사소통을 가능하게 한다. 또한 GPS 기능을 통해 위치정보를 공유하고 한 자리에 모이기 힘든 현대 가족에게 쉽게 가족 간에 약속장소를 정할 수 있으며, 유사시에는 위젯을 통해 자신의 위치를 가족들에게 신속히 문자메시지로 보내 브라우저로 위치를 확인할 수 있게 된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 기반 스마트폰을 이용하여 유아 및 아동을 대상으로 하는 학습용 동화 앱의 구현 내용을 소개하였다. 이미 상용화 되어 있는 학습용 앱의 기능 외에 게임적 요소를 접목하여 학습의 효과와 흥미를 높일 수 있도록 하였다. 듣고 쓸 수 있는 학습용 전자 동화책으로 평가할 수 있다. 안드로이드 마켓에 배포하여 서비스를 할 수 있으며 본 연구의 과정은 앱 설계 관련 프로젝트의 수행이나 학습용 앱 개발의 학습 모형을 제시한 사례로 활용할 수 있다.

App Recommendation Based on Characteristic Similarity (특성 유사도 기반 앱 추천)

  • The remarkable development of IT is contributed to popularization of smart phones, which in turn creates a new domain called app store. Smartphone apps have grown fast because they can be easily purchased through an app store. As the volume of apps traded in app stores is so huge that it is extremely hard for users to find the exact app they want. In general, an app store recommends an app to users based on the search words they entered. In terms of recommendation of app, this kind of content-based method is not effective. To increase accuracy in recommending app, this paper proposes a characteristic similarity-based app recommendation method. This method creates attributes on the app based on the related information such as genre, functionality and number of downloads and then compares them with the propensity to use the app. According to diverse simulations, the method proposed in this paper improved the performance of app recommendation by 33% in average, compared to the conventional method.
