Sensitivity evaluation of rice by salting water irrigation in different rice growth stages (벼 생육시기별 염수관개에 따른 벼 작물의 민감도 평가)

  • 본 연구에서는 벼 생육시기별로 염수 관개가 벼 작물에 미치는 생육 영향정도(민감도)를 평가하기 위하여 벼 재배실험(포트실험)을 수행하였다. 벼 재배실험은 일반 논토양(삼광벼)과 간척 논토양(신동진벼)을 대상으로 하였고, 벼 생육시기는 이앙기~활착기, 활착기~유수형성기, 유수형성기~수잉기, 수잉기~출수기, 등숙기의 5단계로 구분하였다. 벼 재배는 3반복 실험을 위해 총 126개의 포트(Φ215×Φ170×210mm(H))를 조성하여 5월 20일에 1주 3본으로 이앙을 하였다. 물 관개방식은 생육시기별로 염도를 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, 2,500 ppm으로 조절한 각각의 염수를 관개하고, 그 이외의 기간에는 담수(지하수)를 관개하였다. 벼 생육시기별로 염수 관개에 의한 벼 생육에 대한 민감도를 평가하고자 벼의 초장, 분얼수, 수확량을 조사하였다. 간척 논토양에서 초장, 분얼수는 생육초기인 이앙기의 염수에 의해 가장 민감하게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났고, 수확량은 이앙기, 분얼기, 유수형성기 순으로 민감하게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 일반 논토양에서는 초장, 분얼수는 생육시기에 따른 염수관개에 의한 영향이 크지 않았으며, 수확량은 염분농도에 관계없이 이앙기, 분얼기, 유수형성기 순으로 염수에 의해 민감하게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 다수의 선행연구(Hassen Ebrahimi 등, 2011)의 벼 생육기인 분얼기, 유수형성기의 염수 관개가 수확량에 가장 많은 영향을 받는 결과와 일치하였다. 일반 논토양과 간척 논토양 모두 이앙기, 분얼기, 유수형성기 순으로 염수 관개에 민감한 영향을 나타내고 있으며, 특히 염분 배경농도가 높은 간척토양은 저농도의 염수에서도 민감한 반응을 보이고 있는 것으로 나타나, 벼 생육초기의 관개용수 염도관리는 매우 중요하다고 판단된다.

  • 옥수수(Zea mays L.)의 생육 및 수확량은 온도, 일장, 강수량 등에 의해 영향을 밭는다. 본 연구에서는 남부지역 유휴 논을 이용하여 파종시기를 달리하여 옥수수를 재배하였을 때 생육 특성과 수확량을 분석하여 적정 파종시기를 규명하고자 하였다. 3월 하순에서 6월 중순까지 6차로 구분하여 파종하였을 때 출사일수와 성숙일수는 파종기가 늦어질수록 짧아졌다. 옥수수는 단일 및 고온 조건에 의해 생식생장으로의 전환이 빨라지는데, 본 연구에서도 파종이 늦어짐에 따라 단일과 고온에 의해 출웅과 출사가 촉진되었다. 간장과 착수고는 4월 상순까지는 높으나 파종이 지연됨에 따라 짧아졌다. 옥수수의 수량구성요소 중에 이삭장은 5월 하순까지는 유의적인 차이가 없으나 6월에 파종하였을 때에는 짧아졌으며, 이삭직경과 착립장도 파종이 늦어짐에 따라 가늘어지고 짧아져, 파종이 지연되었을 때 생육이 부진함을 알 수 있다. 이삭의 수확량은 4월 상순까지 파종하였을 때에는 800kg/10a 이상으로 높으나, 파종시기가 늦어짐에 따라 점차 감소하여 6월 중순에는 40% 이상 크게 감소하였다. 이는 수량구성요소 중에 이삭장, 이삭직경과 착립장 등 이삭 발달의 부진한 결과이다. 그리고 이삭을 제거한 지상부의 무게는 5월 하순까지의 파종에서는 유의적인 차이가 없으나 6월에는 큰 폭으로 감소하였는데, 이는 영양생장 기간이 짧아짐에 따른 결과로 보인다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 남부지역 논에서 옥수수를 재배할 때에는 늦어도 5월 중·하순까지는 파종하여야 할 것으로 판단된다.

Crop Yield Estimation Utilizing Feature Selection Based on Graph Classification (그래프 분류 기반 특징 선택을 활용한 작물 수확량 예측)

  • Crop estimation is essential for the multinational meal and powerful demand due to its numerous aspects like soil, rain, climate, atmosphere, and their relations. The consequence of climate shift impacts the farming yield products. We operate the dataset with temperature, rainfall, humidity, etc. The current research focuses on feature selection with multifarious classifiers to assist farmers and agriculturalists. The crop yield estimation utilizing the feature selection approach is 96% accuracy. Feature selection affects a machine learning model's performance. Additionally, the performance of the current graph classifier accepts 81.5%. Eventually, the random forest regressor without feature selections owns 78% accuracy and the decision tree regressor without feature selections retains 67% accuracy. Our research merit is to reveal the experimental results of with and without feature selection significance for the proposed ten algorithms. These findings support learners and students in choosing the appropriate models for crop classification studies.

Physiological Response, Fatty Acid Composition and Yield Component of Brassica napus L. under Short-term Waterlogging (단기간 침수처리 하에서 유채의 생리적 반응, 지방산 조성과 수확량)

  • The effects of short-term waterlogging on physiological responses, fatty acid compositions and yield components of rapeseed at both the vegetative growth and the reproductive growth stages were assessed in this study. Waterlogged plants were treated for a period of 10 days at the vegetative growth stage and 4 days at the reproductive growth stage. The results show that photosynthesis and stomatal conductance at both the vegetative growth and the reproductive growth stage were significantly reduced during the waterlogging period and after the recovery period. When the plants were removed from water, photosynthesis and stomatal conductance progressively restored similar values to those of control plants within $2{\sim}3$ days. Fatty acid compositions were unaffected by waterlogging treatment. However, yield components (pod number and pod length) of the waterlogged treated plants at the reproductive growth stage were significantly reduced. These results suggest that short-term waterlogging may thus influence oilseed yield component.

Analysis of Growth Characteristics and Yield Pattern of 'Cupra' and 'Fiesta' Paprika for Yield Prediction (수량예측을 위한 'Cupra', 'Fiesta' 파프리카의 생육특성 및 수확량 패턴 분석)

  • This study was aimed at predicting the yield of paprika (Capsicum annuum L.) through analyzing the growth characteristics, yield pattern and greenhouse environment. In the greenhouse of the Gyeongnam area (667 m above sea level), the red paprika 'Cupra' and the yellow paprika 'Fiesta' were grown from July 5, 2016 to July 15, 2017. The planting density was $3.66plants/m^2$ and attracted 2 stems. During the cultivation period, the average external radiation of the glasshouse was $14.36MJ/m^2/day$ and the internal average temperature was controlled as $20.1^{\circ}C$. After 42 weeks of planting, the growth rate of 'Cupra' was 7.3 cm/week and that of 'Fiesta' was 6.9 cm/week. The first fruit setting of 'Cupra' appeared at 1.0th node and 'Fiesta' at 2.7th node. The first harvest of 'Fiesta' was 11 weeks after planting and 'Fiesta' was 14 weeks. Comparing the yield per 10 a until the end of the cultivation in July, 'Fiesta' was 19,307 kg, which was 2.4% higher than that of 'Cupra'. And the fruit weight ratio of over 200 g of 'Cupra' was 27.7% which was 7.7% higher than that of 'Fiesta'. The average required days to harvest after fruit setting of 'Cupra' was 72.6 days and 'Fiesta' was 63.8 days. According to the relationship between the average required days to harvest and the cumulative radiation (during from fruit setting to harvest), the more radiation increases the less required days to harvest increases after February. In terms of yield, 'Cupra' increased in yield as the cumulative radiation increased, while 'Fiesta' showed an irregular pattern. Cumulative radiation from fruit setting to harvest was negatively correlated with required days to harvest after February in both cultivars. But in relation to yield, there were difference between 'Cupra' and 'Fiesta'.

Studies on Artificial Cultivation of Pleurotus eryngii (De Canolle ex Fries) Quel. (큰느타리(Pleurotus eryngii)의 인공재배에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the artificial cultivation of Pleurotus eryngii on the optimal medium vessel, periods of cultivation and the optimal method of pinheading for both yield and quality of fruiting body were also performed. The optimal composition of sawdust medium in polypropylene(PP) bottle was combination of sawdust(70%) and corncob(30%) but increased amount of corncob delayed the period of mycelial growth. The mycelial growth and the yield of fruiting body in the medium with beat pulp were worse than that without beat pulp. The optimal composition of nutrients for both yield and quality of fruit body tuned out to be a combination of rice bran(12%), wheat bran(12%) and cottonseed cake(6%). Additions of zeolite, shell lime and bean curd dregs were not effective in mycelial growth and yield of fruit body. When testing size of PP bottle for cultivation, the larger of bottle mouth is, the more pinheading number found, but the number of available fruit body is not significantly different. The culture in $1100\;ml-{\phi}75\;mm$ bottle is the best in the yield and quality of fruit body than those in $555\;ml-{\phi}50\;mm,\;850\;ml-{\phi}58\;mm,\;850\;ml-{\phi}65\;mm\;and\;1100\;ml-{\phi}65\;mm$ bottle. Using the PP bag for cultivation, a square shaped bag was better than a round shaped and black square shaped in mycelial growth and yield of fruit body. The most suitable period of incubation was 35 days after inoculation at $22{\pm}2^{\circ}C$. When the incubation periods was decreased less than 35 days, the pileus formation and yields were very bad but a pinheading condition looked similar, For an optimal pinheading, turning upside down was better than standing and covering.

Development of medium for Volvariella volvacea cultivation using spent oyster mushroom medium (느타리 수확 후 배지를 이용한 풀버섯 배지개발)

  • This study was carried out investigate optimal additive content of spent medium from oyster mushroom in Volvariella volvacea cultivation. The formation of spent mushroom medium from oyster mushroom consisted of 50% pine sawdust, 30% beet pulp and 20% cotton seed hull pellet. The higher amount of spent medium from oyster mushroom resulted in higher total nitrogen content and C/N ratio of medium decreased according to increasing mixing ratio of spent medium from oyster mushroom. The fruit body yield and biological efficiency of supplemented with 50% spent medium from oyster mushroom was same level of non additive medium.
