그댈 만나기 위해 소담한 공원에서 기다리노라면 항상 기쁨과 슬픔을 같이 한 채 나와 함께하는 키작은 꼬마나무, 그대와 함께 속삭이면서 공원을 산책하자면 가로등 아름다운 불빛에 미친 자기 모습과 어울러 항상 포근하게 사랑을 감싸주는 나무, 우리의 슬픔을 감소시키기 위해 술취해 넘어지는 사람을 받쳐주고, 비 오는 날 세차게 달리는 자동차의 흙탕물을 막아주고 오직 우리들만을 위해 봉사하는 회양목은 상록으로 수형이 아름답고, 맹아력과 번식력이 좋으며 수형조절이 자유로워 정원, 공원의 경계벽, 생울타리 등 다양한 조경수와 관상수로서 역할을 충실히 해주고 있다. 또한 잎이 좁고 긴긴잎회양목과 남쪽 섬지방에서 자생하는 섬회양목, 일반 회양목과 비슷하나 털이 없고 질이 얇은 좀회양목이 우리나라에서 존재한다. 이런 나무에 피해를 주는 몇몇 해충 종에 대해서 생태 및 방제법을 소개하고자 한다.

근래에 들어, 금형생산 시간의 단축과 고정밀도의 제품을 생산하기 위해 실가공전의 설계단계에서 금형 데이터를 수치적으로 검증할 필요가 높아지고 있다. 기존의 저가형 CAM시스템에서 사용된 경로표시법으 로는 이러한 검증이 불가능하기 때문에 새로운 방법의 도입이 필요하며 모의가공 형상의 표현에서도 비매 개변수형 곡면을 이영하는 방법이 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 연구는 3축 금형가곡에 사용되는 볼앤드밀, 평 엔드밀 공구에 대해 Z-map을 기반으로 절삭부위를 비매개변수형 곡면으로 모델링하여 모의가공을 수행하 고자 한다. 또한, 새로운 backeting영역지정 방법을 사용하여 모의가공의 효율을 높였다.

The systematic study of freshwater rotifers was conducted on the materials collected from 197 sites in South Korea. As a result, 9 species of Family Colurellidae were identified, 4 species ( 1 species and 3 subspeices) of which are new to the Korea fauna ; Courella uncinata uncinata, Squatinella rostrum rostrum, Lepadella patella patella, and L.elliptica. Total 165 species representing 13 families and 40 genera are now recorded by addign the species described in the present paper.

We propose a simple technique to obtain field-induced absorption changes of an electroabsorption waveguide by using photocurrent generated inside a waveguide. Photocurrent proportional to the absorbed power and displaying Fabry-Perot interference fringes were observed and the field-induced absorption changes were derived from the ratio of resonant and anti resonant currents in the photocurrent spectra. The field-induced absorption change of InGaAsP waveguide for 1.5V reverse bias voltage at 1.55 $\mu\textrm{m}$ was determined to be $~157\cm^{-1}$.

Using head length and head width of two wheat monosomic lines linear discriminant function of these two variables was calculated and also illustrated how one can effectively classify unknown individuals into a correct group belonging by means of this linear discriminant function in reverse. Brief suggestion on the utilization of this analysis in genetics and breeding program was given.

미국의 전력회사 Entergy는 향후 4년 내에 비등수형(BWR) 원자로 3기의 운영을 중단하고 영구 폐쇄에 들어갈 계획이다. 무엇 때문에 Entergy가 그런 조기 폐쇄 결정을 내리게 되었는지, 그리고 그러한 결정이 결과적으로 어떤 문제를 초래할 수 있는지 등에 대해 알아보고자 한다.
