VHDL Design for spread spectrum communication system with convolutional code (콘벌루션 부호를 사용한 대역확산 통신시스템의 VHDL 설계)

  • 본 논문에서는 콘벌루션 부호를 사용한 대역확산 방식의 디지틀 통신모뎀을 FPGA를 이용하여 설계 및 검증을 하였다. 대역확산 방식에서의 콘벌루tus부호기(K=3, R=1/2), PN code(128chip) generator와 비터비 디코더를 Xilinx사의 FPGA 디자인 툴인 Xilinx Foundations3.1을 사용하여 VHDL simulation과 timing simulation을 수행하였고, FPGA 회로설계 검증 장비인 EDA-Lab 3000 장비를 사용하여 Xilinx사의 SPARTAN2 2S100PQ208칩에 configuration 한 후 Agilent사의 1681A logic analyzer를 사용하여 설계된 회로의 동작을 검증하였다.

  • 정보보호 분야의 핵심 기술인 PKI는 전자정부 및 전자상거래 전반의 응용 환경에서 정보보호의 기반구조로서 그 활용의 폭을 더욱 넓혀가고 있으며, 현재 유선 인터넷 환경을 기반으로 구성되어진 PKI는 무선 인터넷 환경의 정보보호 기반구조로 그 영역을 더욱 확장해 나가고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 PKI에 필수적인 요소인 인증 경로 검증에 효율적으로 대응하고 확장성을 지원하기 위하여 Collaborative ETRI VA를 제안하였다. ETRI VA는 클라이언트의 인증 경로 검증에 대한 부담을 줄이고, 신뢰 모델에 영향을 받지 않고 검증을 수행하며, 중앙집중적으로 신속하게 정책을 반영할 수 있게 한다.

  • DO-178B는 항공분야 소프트웨어의 안전성 인증 기준으로서 실질적인 국제 표준으로 인정받고 있다. 그러나 목표달성 중심의 기준만을 제시함으로써 안전성 분석 및 검증에 대한 구체적인 가이드라인의 부족이 문제시 되어왔다. 본 논문을 통해 DO-178B의 취약점을 분석하고 정형기법을 적용한 개선방안을 제시한다. DO-178B 내용 중 정형기법을 적용하여 수행되어야 할 활동 요소들을 식별하고 정형언어를 통한 설계와 검증, 그리고 그 결과에 대한 증빙자료의 제출을 기준에 포함시킴으로써 개발 활동의 방향과 범위를 명확히 하고 인증 절차의 투명성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

<Q|Crypton>: 암호 양자안전성 검증 기술

  • 현존 암호인프라에 대한 양자컴퓨터 위협이 가시화됨에 따라, 다각도의 양자리스크 대응 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 그 중에서 양자컴퓨터 상에서 주어진 암호를 해독하기 위해서 소요되는 양자자원량(큐비트수, 양자게이트수, 수행시간 등)을 계산하여 양자보안강도를 추정하는 양자안전성 검증 기술은 대규모의 큐비트를 컨트롤할 수 있는 범용 양자컴퓨터가 아직 없는 상태에서는 쉽지 않은 기술이라 할 수 있다. 이에, 본 고에서는 암호 양자안전성 검증을 위한 현실적이고 유일한 접근이라 할 수 있는 <Q|Crypton> 기술 개념을 설명하고, 이러한 개념을 바탕으로 개발되고 있는 <Q|Crypton> 플랫폼의 전반적인 설명을 제공하고자 한다. 이러한 <Q|Crypton> 기술은 향후, 효율적이면서 높은 양자 저항성을 가지는 암호를 선별하는 데 있어서 실제적인 기여를 할 것으로 예상되고 있다.

Commitability and Integrity Verification of Workflow Specification with Petri Nets (페트리넷을 이용한 워크플로우 명세의 완료가능성 및 무결성 검증)

  • A study on workflow as an automated business processing system is done recently. This appear proposes a method to verify commitability and integrity of workflow specifications, which include various dependencies between parallel tasks, using petri nets. For this, firstly, e describe briefly workflow specification method using workflow graphs. Secondly, we propose a method to convert a workflow graph into a petri net to verify workflow specifications. Thirdly, we suggest the commitability verification method using petri nets to check whether workflow specifications can commit or not and the integrity verification method to check whether invalid components exist or not. Lastly, we implement the proposed verification method and propose a defect extraction method.

Study on Validity of SDLRS Instrument for Evaluation of Life-Long Outcome (평생학습 학습성과 평가를 위한 자기주도학습 준비도 검사도구(SDLRS)의 타당성 연구)

  • The purpose of the study was to verify reliability and validity of SDLRS instrument and to prove up possibility of usage as an evaluation method for evaluating life-long learning. Literature review and survey were used to accomplish objectives of the study. 218 students in department of mechanical engineering of A university at Gyunggi province were responded for SDLRS(Guglielmino, 1977) instrument. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, and ANOVA test. 58 items in original version instrument were converted to 23 items. There were 7 factors for assessing the self-directed learning readiness according to this measurement scale with a total variance of about 58%. The total reliability of the final 23 items was $\alpha$. The final 7 factors consisted of love for learning, openness for learning, self-perception, basic learning function and independence, acceptance of responsibility for learning, leadership and future directivity, and creativity and exploration. The result of SDLRS analysis according to individual background, there were significant statistically in the grade, period of employment in industry, entering graduate school or not, and GPA, but no significant statistically in sexual difference, employment in industry or not, final academic level of parent, and income level of the family. In the future, final instrument will be needed to check in the respect of correlation with another ability and skill influencing on life-long learning, and more study will be done for developing life-long learning.

Structural Analysis of Liquid Rocket Thrust Chamber Regenerative Cooling Channel at Room Temperature (액체로켓 연소기 재생냉각 채널 상온 구조해석)

  • The structural analysis and water pressure tests are performed for liquid rocket thrust chamber regenerative cooling channel specimens at room temperature condition. Material properties of copper alloy to be used in the elastic-plastic structural analysis are obtained by uniaxial tension test at room temperature. The plate-type cooling channel specimens are manufactured and performed water pressure test to verify the analysis results. The results of elastic-plastic structural analysis and water pressure test show resonable agreements though with minor differences and it is revealed that structural stability of regenerative cooling channel is highly affected by the manufacturing tolerances due to very thin cross-sectional thickness of the cooling channel.

Hardware/Software Co-verification with Integrated Verification (집적검증 기법을 채용한 하드웨어/소프트웨어 동시검증)

  • In SOC(System On a Chip) designs, reducing time and cast for design verification is the most critical to improve the design productivity. this is mainly because the designs require co-verifying HW together with SW, which results in the increase of verification complexity drastically. In this paper, to cope with the verification crisis in SOC designs, we propose a new verification methodology, so called integrated co-verification, which lightly combine both co-simulation and co-emulation in unified and seamless way. We have applied our integrated co-verification to ARM/AMBA platform-based co-verification environment with a commercial co-verification tool, Seamless CVE, and a physical prototyping board. The experiments has shown clear advantage of the proposed technique over conventional ones.

A Case Study on Model Checking Online-Game Server Party System Using SPIN (온라인 게임 서버의 파티 시스템 검증을 위한 스핀 모델 체커 적용에 관한 연구)

  • Model checking method is able to check all possible cases automatically and is applicable to specifications or design before actual implementation so that some critical systems have adopted this method actively. However, the current practice of software verification is largely dependant on basic methods such as manual testing because of lack of understanding about this rigorous method and high verification cost. In this paper we conducted an experimental research for the automated verification using the SPIN model checker on an online-game server to study the applicability of the technique in this domain. The results show that we could verify major features of the online-game server party system with 5~7 GB memory and within 10 minutes execution time, and also found a hidden system error that passed existing testing process. This result shows the possibility of rigorous and effective verification with reasonable cost in comparison to manual testing.

An Improvement of Function Point Models for Software Cost Estimation (소프트웨어 비용산정을 위한 기능점수 모형 개선 연구)

  • There is a strong need to develop a software cost estimation model on economic value perspective. The objective of this research is to improve current software cost estimation method on economic value perspective. We reviewed domestic and foreign researches and practices on software cost estimation with function point method, and derived promising alternative models. Pilot simulation was performed with real project data, and the probable best model was chosen. We collected data from 39 Korean companies, and assesed statistical significance of the model with those data. Empirical data shows that more practical model has better prediction accuracy. That is, the number of input and output modules, the number of tables, and the number of algorithms are chosen to be best set of functions. There exists strong correlation between the calculated function points and project effort. And, the revised set of technical complexity factors and evaluation guidelines show practical usefulness. We suggest that the above result be incorporated in a new improved guideline for software cost estimation. By adopting the results of this research to the guideline, we expect that technology innovation will be expedited, and that overall productivity of software industry will be increased.
