A Study about Attitude Control of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) Using the Inertial Sensor (관성센서를 이용한 무인 항공체의 자세 제어에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문은 관성센서를 이용한 무인 항공체의 자세 제어에 관한 연구를 다루었다. 항공계의 종류는 크게 고정익기와 회선익기로 나뉘는데 본 연구에서는 회전익기의 형태를 가진 Quarter Vehicle을 사통하였다. Quarter Vehicle은 4개의 프로펠러에 의한 양력과 회전 반발력으로 비행을 한다. 이때의 양력은 수평면에 대해 수직으로 추력을 발생시키므로 다른 비행체보다 불안정하며 이를 안정하게 제어하기 위해 관성 센서를 적용하여 균형을 유지한다. 본 연구에서는 관성센서를 이용하여 UAV의 자세와 균형을 안정적으로 유지하여 안정적인 비행이 가능하도록 하였다. 또한 상호 의존적인 항법 시스템으로 환경변화에 영향을 받지 않으며, 정확한 위치정보를 제공하는 GPS를 사용하여 3개 이상의 위성으로부터 정보를 받아 좌표를 계산하고 위치, 속도 및 방향을 결정하여 자율 비행이 가능하도록 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 Quarter Vehicle의 구조와 이론적 배경을 통한 설계, 그리고 관성센서와 GPS의 적용을 위한 방법을 제시 한다.

Accelerated Test Program for Durability Characteristics of GFRP Rebars (내구특성 파악을 위한 GFRP 보강근의 촉진실험 연구)

  • This paper presents the durability characteristics of commercially available CFRP rebars under various environmental conditions. Two types of GFRP rebars were tested by using an accelerated aging method. A total of 264 rebar specimens were conditioned up to 132 days in the moisture, chloride. alkaline, and freeze-thaw environmental conditions. The durability characteristics of conditioned rebars were obtained by comparing the tensile strength, horizontal shear strength, and elastic modulus between the unconditioned and conditioned GFRP rebars. The test results indicated that the mechanical properties of GFRP were significantly reduced after conditioning. Long-term degradation of GFRP rebars was also estimated using the results of a short-term durability test.

  • Uses of geosynthetics as a reinforcing material for earth structures have ever increased due to their excellent economy. fine external appearance. and easy construction. In the current practice of geosynthetics. however, the lacks of the standardized method of evaluating the soil/geosynthetics friction properties and the inconsistency of conventional design methods develop confusion to the civil engineers. The purpose of site monitoring of the retaining wall reinforced by geogrids was to evaluate the applicability of existing design methods to, and performance of. CHAMSTONE wall system. Full scale field performance during and after construction was monitored by incorporating instrumentation including strain gauges on the geogrid and soil pressure cells. The difference of the reinforcing effects of geosynthetics embedded in the soil will be also investigated by comparing of the line and curve types of retaining wall reinforced by geogrids with block type facings.

  • The reinforced concrete flat plate system provides architectural flexibility, clear space, reduced building height, simple formwork, which consequently enhance constructibility. One of the serious problem in the flat plate system is brittle punching shear failure due to transfer of shear force and unbalanced moments in column-slab connection. Since the use of high strength concrete recently has become in practice for reinforced concrete structures, it is highly desired to establish the structural design method for flat plate construction using high strength concrete. In this paper, interior column-slab connection constructed with high strength concrete were tested under lateral and gravity loads to evaluate their strength and behavior. The test parameters were slab reinforcement ratio and the gravity load levels.

  • Two methods of the nonlinear static pushover analysis have been presented for the performance-based seismic design and evaluation of MDOF continuous bridges. Guidelines for buildings presented in FEMA-273 applying the Displacement Coefficient Method (DCM) and in ATC applying the Capacity Spectrum Method(CSM) have been modified for MDOF bridges. Two methods are compared with the time- history analysis. The lateral load distribution pattern for seismic loads has been examined in the static pushover analysis. The force-based fiber frame finite element has been implemented in the modeling of reinforced concrete piers.

  • 본 논문은 GPS를 이용한 무인 비행체의 자율비행에 관한 연구를 다루었다. 비행체의 종류는 크게 고정익기와 회전익기로 나뉘는데 본 연구에서는 회전익기의 형태를 가진 Quarter Vehicle을 사용하였다. Quarter Vehicle은 4개의 프로펠러에 의한 양력과 회전 반발력으로 비행을 한다. 이때의 양력은 수평면에 대해 수직으로 추력을 발생시키므로 다른 비행체보다 불안정하며 이를 안정하게 제어하기 위해 관성 센서를 적용하여 균형을 유지한다. 본 연구에서는 UAV의 자세와 균형을 안정적으로 유지하기 위해 관성센서를 적용하였으며 GPS를 활용하여 독립적인 자율비행이 가능하도록 하였다. 정확한 위치정보를 제공하는 GPS는 3개 이상의 위성으로부터 시간 및 위치 정보를 받아 좌표를 계산하고 비행체의 위치, 속도 및 방향을 결정하여 자율 비행이 가능하도록 한다. 또한 초형 지자기센서를 비행체에 적용하여 GPS의 방향 정보를 보완하도록 하였다. 본 논문에서는 무인 비행체의 자율비행의 기초가 되는 위치좌표 계산을 위한 GPS의 적용 방법과 비행경로계획 알고리즘을 제시 한다.

Optimum Design of Plane Steel Frames Using Second-Order Inelastic Analysis and Section Increment Method (2차 비탄성해석과 단면점증법을 이용한 평면 강골조 구조물의 최적설계)

  • In this paper, the optimum design of plane steel frames using second-order inelastic analysis and section increment method is presented. Since the second-order inelastic analysis accounts for geometric and material nonlinearities of the whole system as well as its component members, the design method based on second-order inelastic analysis does not require separate member capacity checks after analysis. A section increment method proposed by this paper is used as optimization technique. The weight of structures is treated as the objective function. The constraint functions are defined by load-carrying capacities, deflections, inter-story drifts, and ductility requirement. The effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by comparing the results of the proposed method with those of other method.

  • In this study, consolidation analysis methods reflecting various ground condition and changing coefficient of consolidation with consolidation process are presented. Research activities include development of numerical program consists of two parts considering vertical drainage only and both drainage condition with vertical and radial direction. Also, interface equation of adjacent two layers and function for changing coefficient of consolidation are added to developed program. This paper presents the results from a detailed consolidation analyses, which explores consolidation process with time in varying layered system and changing coefficient of consolidation

A Control Value Analysis on the Horizontal Displacement of Braced Excavation Walls Used In Korea (국내 적용되고 있는 흙막이구조물의 수평변위에 대한 관리기준치 분석)

  • This study aims to present a more reasonable control value than the exiting one by comparing and analyzing control values and field instrument8tion values of the whole excavation depth of the four case sites, using geometric averaging as a statistical method. The range of the study is confined to the horizontal displacement of braced excavation walls among a variety of items, prescribed in the control values by approximately of the allowable and design values, and by safety factors. As a result, it is desirable to revise 70, 90, and 100 percent of LEVEL I, II, and III, respectively. The horizontal displacement values of the allowable and design values approximations should change to 104, 133, and 148 percent of the allowable and design values, respectively. In addition, modifying the horizontal displacement control value of the braced excavation walls is not needed. The horizontal displacement value, presented in the control value as a safety factor, is now 1.19, as it has a slight difference from the present value.

Sensing Technique of Mass Imbalance for Condition Monitoring of Wind Turbine Blade (풍력발전기 블레이드 상태 모니터링을 위한 질량 불균형 감지기법)

  • A method to detect rotor mass imbalance, which is one of the typical faults of wind turbine, is presented for effective condition monitoring of wind turbine. Dynamic analysis for a three-bladed horizontal-axis wind turbine was carried out with adding mass to a blade for inflicting the rotor mass imbalance. It has been found that the added mass induce a resulting centrifugal force to nacelle and this leads to a transverse (relative to the rotor axis) oscillation of the nacelle. It has been also found that the amplitude of the oscillation is almost linearly increased as the added mass is increased.
