The layered basic zinc p-toluenesulfonates has been directly synthesized by the surface modification. The chemical formula of layered basic zinc p-toluenesulfonate is determined by CHNS and TG-DTA. From the X-ray diffraction data and the guest size, the orientation of the p-toluenesulfonate onto the zinc hydroxide layer is determined. The molecular plane of the p-toluenesulfonate lies perpendicular to the zinc hydroxide layers.

We synthesized the intercalation compound between a layered double hydroxide and an ethyl orange. The orientation of the intercalated ethyl orange into the layered double hydroxide was investigated. The molecular plane of the ethyl orange and its N＝N axis lie nearly perpendicular to the hydroxide layers with an antiparallel pattern.

We have studied the fabrication tolerance of a fused vertical coupler switch with switching operation induced section and extinction ratio enhanced section to obtain more than 30dB extinction ratio for both cross and bar states with less than 500 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ device length for various thicknesses of inner cladding layer.

본 논문에서는 블록간, 블록 내수, 수평. 수직 방향성, 그리고 시간 영역의 정보를 이용하는 압축 동영상의 블록화 및 링 현상을 제거하는 방식을 제안한다. 위의 정보를 이용하여 새로운 부가 함수가 정의되며, 최적 해를 구하기 위해 gradient와 projection을 결합시킨 hybrid 형태의 기법을 이용한다. 또한, 정규화 계수들 및 projection을 위한 영역의 설정을 부호화단에서는 이용 가능한 정보로부터 추출하게 되므로 계산량을 감소시킬 수 있다. 실험 결과로부터 제안된 방식의 효율성을 확인할 수 있다.

집적결상(integral imaging)에서 렌즈어레이(lens array)를 이용하여 3차원적인 물체를 기본영상(elemental image)들로 결상한 후, 다시 그 기본 이미지들로부터 3차원 이미지를 재생하는 과정에서 기본 이미지들을 변환시키지 않으면, 3차원 이미지가 재생될 때, 렌즈어레이와 수직한 축에 대해 렌즈어레이에 가까운 쪽과 먼 쪽이 서로 바뀌는 슈도스코픽(pseudoscopic) 현상이 일어난다. 그래서 기본이미지들을 변환시키기 위해 렌즈어레이를 한번 더 사용한 이단 집적결상계를 이용하거나 영상처리 방법을 이용하는데, 이와 같은 방법은 광학적 손실을 크게 하거나 처리 속도를 느리게 한다. 토목합성재료(Geosynthetics) 중 배수용으로 사용되는 재료는 기능상 유체의 흐름을 수평방향으로 유도하는 재료를 의미하며, 일반적으로 저장된 유체를 수직으로 이동시키는 필터기능을 가지는 1,000g/㎡ 미만의 지오텍스타일(geotextiles)과 수평방향의 유도로를 확보한 지오네트(geonets)를 결합시킨 지오네트 복합제품이 사용되고 있다. 이러한 배수용 토목합성재료는 쓰레기 매립장의 건설 시 침출수의 외부유출을 차단하기 위하여 설치하는 차수막인 지오멤브레인(geomembranes)을 매립된 쓰레기 하중 및 외부의 충격으로부터 보호하는 용도로 사용된다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 분절된 화소들의 특징추출 방법은 이진화 영상에서 수직/수평 화소들의 분절점을 탐색하여 추출하는 특징 탐색기이다. 숫자의 구조적인 면을 고려하여 사소한 부분들도 명확한 특징으로 탐지하여 추출하였고, 이러한 방법은 일반적으로 사용하여지는 특징추출방법 몇가지를 선택하여 이용하였고, 제안하는 방법과 결합하여 필기체 숫자를 인식하였다. 인식기를 구현하기 위하여 3개층 구조를 갖는 클러스터 MLP 신경망을 사용하였다 실험 결과 단순히 일반적인 특징만을 활용하여 얻는 인식률 보다 훨씬 향상됨을 보여주었다.
