Relationship between Completers' Satisfaction of Job Training Programs and Training Performance in Gwangju Area: The Moderating Role of NCS Level (광주지역의 구직자 훈련 프로그램 이수자 만족도와 취업률간의 관계: NCS 수준의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the effects of job training program satisfaction on objective training performance such as employment rate. In addition, the NCS(National Competency Standards) level was considered as a moderating variable in order to clarify the boundary conditions between job training program satisfaction and employment rate. The data used for the analysis of the research model are 513 job training programs that provide employment rate information among job training programs of 2016 Gwangju area on HRD-Net. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, The satisfaction score of the job training programs calculated on the basis of the six dimensions of satisfaction is 4.46. The NCS level of the job training programs ranged from 2 to 6. The average score of the programs was 3.32. Second, satisfaction with the job training programs has no statistically significant effect on the employment rate, but the NCS level of the job training programs was found to be statistically significant in the interaction effect. Finally, policy implications, limitations, and further research directions are mentioned through this study.

Moderating Effects of User Gender and AI Voice on the Emotional Satisfaction of Users When Interacting with a Voice User Interface (음성 인터페이스와의 상호작용에서 AI 음성이 성별에 따른 사용자의 감성 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study sought to identify the voice user interface (VUI) design parameters that evoked positive user emotions. Six VUI design parameters that could affect emotional user satisfaction were considered. The moderating effects of user gender and the design parameters were analyzed to determine the appropriate conditions for user satisfaction when interacting with the VUI. An interactive VUI system that could modify the six parameters was implemented using the Wizard of OZ experimental method. User emotions were assessed from the users' facial expression data, which was then converted into a valence score. The frequency analysis and chi-square test found that there were statistically significant moderating gender and AI effects. These results implied that it is beneficial to consider the users' gender when designing voice-based interactions. Adult/male/high-tone voices for males and adult/female/mid-tone voices for females are recommended as general guidelines for future VUI designs. Future analyses that consider various human factors will be able to more delicately assess human-AI interactions from a UX perspective.

Multi-level Analysis of the Effects of Perceived Workplace Support and Access to Workplace Counseling on Depression Among Victims of Workplace Bullying (직장 내 괴롭힘 피해자가 인식한 직장 내 지지와 상담접근성이 우울에 미치는 영향에 대한 다층분석)

  • The aims of this study was to investigate the effect of workplace support and access to workplace counseling on the depression level of employees who are workplace bullying victims and then find cross-level interaction effects between individual and group factors. A multi-level analysis was conducted using data from 642 individuals who reported experiencing workplace bullying in the 2017 National Human Rights Commission survey. The findings indicate that a worker's perceived safety of their workplace is negatively associated with depression levels. Additionally, higher perceived workplace support and access to workplace counseling were associated with lower depression levels. Lastly, a positive interaction effect was observed between access to workplace counseling and perceived workplace support in relation to depression levels. That is, higher access to workplace counseling increases the negative effect of workplace support on depression levels of employees. These results highlight the importance of creating protective factors such as a safe and supportive organizational culture to combat workplace bullying of coworkers or supervisors, and implementation of counseling and support services to assist victims in coping with workplace bullying and reducing depression symptoms.

  • This study tried to find the relationship between household income level and medical expense to household income ratio. For data analysis, it used 2010 and 2011 yearly data beta version of Korea Health Panel, co-managed by Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs and National Health Insurance Corporation. To find out how the effect of independent variable changes in 2010 and 2011, the interaction effect between year and independent variable was examined, and separating the factors that showed interaction effect into each year, linear regression analysis was conducted using generalized estimating equations method. As a result of reviewing the factors that were related to medical expense to household income ratio among the people who used medical services, it was found that the higher the household income level, the lower the medical expense. It indicates that policy measures are needed to lessen the medical burden of low-income families.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in advertising effect of visual rhetoric type of Facebook ads depending on the user sensitivity and level of empathy. The experiment was designed as a between-subjects factorial design (visual rhetoric type) × 2 (brand sensitivity) × 2 (level of empathic understanding). The results of the experiment performed to analyze the strategies of Facebook ads for ads effectiveness can be summarized as follows: a three-way interaction effect for persuasive effects was found among the type of visual rhetoric, brand sensitivity, and empathic understanding for both types of visual rhetoric. Breaking down it by type of rhetoric, no interacting effect was observed between brand sensitivity and empathic understanding levels for the visual simile ads in most of the dependent variables. For the visual metaphor ads, however, the brand sensitivity and empathic understanding levels were found to have interaction effect in all dependent variables.

  • COVID-19로 인한 외부환경요인의 변화는 2020학년도 1학기부터 대학교육시스템에 큰 변화를 일으켰다. 초기에는 비대면으로 변화된 수업 환경에서 필요한 수업 방법으로 전환하는 데 급급하였다면 비대면 상황이 지속되면서 대면 학습의 실재감을 제공하고 학습효과를 높이는 구체적인 요인 파악과 수업 적용이 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 비대면으로 이루어지는 컴퓨터공학 분야의 대표적인 실습기반 교과목인 프로그래밍 수업에서 대면 수업의 실재감을 제공하기 위해 강의동영상 수업과 실시간 수업을 활용하여 수업주제 맞춤형 비대면 혼합형 수업 방법을 적용한 후 설문 조사를 통해 혼합형 수업에서 학습자의 참여수준(태도)가 대면수업 수준의 실재감에 미치는 영향을 조사·분석하였다. 이를 통해 비대면 수업에서는 비대면 환경에서 학습자의 상호작용을 위한 수업 참여 수준(태도)가 대면 수준으로 학습효과를 높이는데 가장 큰 영향을 미친 것으로 조사·분석하였다.

  • 컨텐츠에 대한 처리 기술과 사용자 인터페이스의 발전으로 인해, 교육 현장에서 광범위하게 사용되는 교육도구로 컴퓨터가 자리매김하고 있다. 제한된 교실 환경에서 컴퓨터를 활용한 영어교육은 학습자들에게 흥미를 유발하고, 의사소통능력의 신장을 유도하는 등의 장점이 있으나, 수준에 따른 개별학습과 상호작용 유도, 개인차를 고려한 평가 등을 수행하기 어려운 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 장점을 극대화하고 단점을 좌완하기 위해서 휴대폰의 국내 표준 플랫폼인 WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability)기반 영어 학습 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 휴대 전화의 제한성을 극복하고, 이에 적합한 컨텐츠를 활용하면서, 교사의 역할을 대신해 줄 수 있는 지능형 교육 시스템을 도입하여 교사의 역할을 대신하여 피드백을 제공해 줄 수 있으며, 교사와 학생간의 상호작용을 유도하여 학습의 효과를 극대화 할 수 있을 것이다.

The effect of fun factors on re-particitation intention to traditional play: Verification of the moderating effect of challenge spirit (전통놀이 참여자들의 재미요인이 재참여의사에 미치는 영향: 도전정신의 조절효과 검증)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the moderating effect of the challenging spirit on the relationship between fun factors and re-participation intentions of participants in traditional play. The subjects of this study were 164 participants in the traditional play Hanmadang contest held in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province in 2021. They measured fun factors, challenging spirit, and re-particitation intention to participate. In order to analyze the collected measurement paper, the analysis was performed using SPSS18.0, PROCESS Macro(V.2.13), Interaction program. The major results were as follows. First, the interaction between promote health and challenge spirit was found to have a significant effect on re-particitation intention at high and medium levels. Second, it was found that the interaction between the foster of social and the challenge spirit did not have a significant effect on the re-particitation intention. Third, the interaction between sense of achievement and the challenge spirit was found to have a significant effect on the re-particitation intention at the high and medium levels.

  • Smart advertising in digital media has become an active research field in the past few decades. The purpose of the study is to investigates the interaction effects between the message expression type and brand familiarity on the effectiveness of raffle advertising. An online 2×2 between subjects experiment was constructed. The results showed the interaction effects between the message expression type and brand familiarity on advertising attitude, brand attitude, and purchase intention.

  • The study was intended to analyze the interaction effects of paraquat and oxytluorfen as an orchard herbicide-mixture. Data were prepared from the former report of authors. The algebraic expression for the actions of paraquat and oxyfluorfen on the control percentages of peach orchard weeds, and their interactions were determined from the multiple regression polynomial and plotted in three-dimensional graphs. As a result of treatments by combination of paraquat and oxyfluorfen on the field which was dominated by perennial weeds, the most effective interactions were detected at combination rates of $245\;gHa^{-1}$ paraquat and $470-705\;gHa^{-1}$ oxyfluorfen. However, to develope the long-term weeding-efficacies, the combination rates of paraquat are expected to raise up to $500-700\;gHa^{-1}$, and oxyfluorfen to fit at lower limits of rates, respectively.
