Determination of Optimal Permissible Weights in Manual Material Handling for High Lifting Frequency (고인양빈도에 대한 수운반작업의 최적 허용중량 결정)

  • Manual lifting, as a part of manual materials handling activities, is recognized by authorities in the fields of occupational health and safety as a major hazards to industrial workers. In order to minimize the injuries caused by manual material handling activities as well as maximize job productivity, it is important to determine the maximum weights. This paper presents the optimal combination of membership functions according to the high lifting frequency and determines the safe maximum acceptable weights in manual lifting activities through the actual experiment.

  • 상변환에 의한 농형유도전동기의 1/3, 2/3 속도제어 방법에 대하여 연구하였고, 종래의 국수변환 방법과 비교하였다. 1마력, 36슬롯을 모델로 하여 1800, 1200, 600rpm을 얻어 내었으며, 국수변환 방법에 비하여 고정자의 크기, 슬롯수, 동량을 줄일 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있었다.

  • 수제는 본래 제방의 보호나 주운의 수심확보를 등을 목적으로 제방과 수직에 가까운 각도로 설치되는 하천구조물이며, 수제의 형태에는 월류수제와 비월류수제 등 두 종류가 있다. 과거 하천의 주운으로 이용되었던 시절에는 대부분의 하천에서 수제를 볼 수 있었지만 하천의 수운교통의 쇠퇴, 제방축조기술의 발달에 따라 본래의 역할을 유지하지 못하여 최근에는 수제공법이 활용되지 않고 있는 실정이다. 최근에는 하천의 생태서식환경을 개선시킴과 동시에 주운용 수심을 확보하기 위하여 수제 설치가 주요한 공법으로 널리 행해지게 되었지만, 아직도 수제 설치에 있어서 하천의 기하학적 구조와 흐름특성을 제대로 반영하지 못함으로써 시행착오가 많이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 가상하도에서 2차원 수리모델인 RMA2를 이용하여 월류형 수제 주변의 흐름특성을 검토하였다.

  • This thesis is a study on the properties of new religious ritual dress in Korea to help understand new religions more completely. A new religion means 'Newly born religions'and it is an opposite conception of the existing religion. The new religions in Korea have been established, changed and become extinct beginning with 'Dong-Hak'movement by Choi Jea Woo in 1860. Sometimes they've caused social problems with their number increasing after the rapid industrialization in 1970's. There are about 350 new religions and 2,000,000 christians in Korea now. Some of theme are pseudo religions wearing the mask of religion and also there are great new religions that will contribute to our spiritual history. The latter shows the thoughtful properties of the union of religion, postnatal creation, nation's independence, and human's centralization. There are properties of pluralism, nation's independence, symbolism, and thoughts in a new religious ritul dress.

  • A point heavy rainfall process is physically modeled. It uses meteorological variables at the ground level as its inputs. The components of the model are parameterized based on well established observations and the previous studies of cloud physics. Particular emphasis is placed on the efficiency of accretion. So we adopt the modified skew-symmetric model for hydrometeor size distribution function that is suitable for the heavy rain cloud. The dominant parameters included in the model are estimated by the optimization technique. The rainfall intensity is predicted by the model with the medium values of estimated parameters.

  • This paper aims to clarify the Spatial Form of the Port Settlement of Rivershore in Nakdong-river. The web of road is composed of three basic elements, kyeongjeon-seon railroad, inner old coastal street, a narrow gauge railway. The basic road system is composed of Hon-machi dori (Main street) parallel to the coastal line and three perpendicular roads. According to these road patterns, plot of the lands in the block are formed into distinctive trapezoidal shape. To conclude, the Spatial Form of Samrangjin's Port Settlement might explain as a relation of Rivershore's shape and marketplace's spatial form.

  • The expected busy period for the controllable M/G/1 queueing model operating under the triadic policy is derived by using the pseudo probability density function which is totally different from the actual probability density function. In order to justify the approach using the pseudo probability density function to derive the expected busy period for the triadic policy, well-known expected busy periods for the dyadic policies are derived from the obtained result as special cases.

  • A transportation problem in Korea is a serious issue that has to be solved urgently in the motor era of 15 million vehicles. Recently ITS has been introduced to improve efficiency of the current roads because an excessive budget and a long term construction are needed to build new roads. Therefore the government enacted the law as of ITS and the in architecture. However, these ITS information services were oriented to mainly vehicles and drivers, not public entities such as bus driver, passengers and so on. Nowadays lots of local autonomous city introduced a public transportation information system (PTIS), and providing useful information for the public. For this PTIS, important design issues are to be focused on detecting and tracking technology of moving bus, and a wireless communication link to transmit the location information. This paper presents design models using several wireless communication methods, and an implementation case using a Wireless packet Data communication Network (WDN) to transmit bus location information at Seoul, Korea.

  • A water management system is developed to reduce the unit cost of production in wide-area waterworks. Improving productivity in waterworks is to save power rate. We suggest a method to schedule the supply of water according to the time-varying power rate and pump control scheme. Water pipeline analysis package (SynerGEE Water) is utilized to obtain optimal pump control solution adaptation to water demand. Our evaluation results show that developed scheme is more efficient than the conventional.

홍대용 혼상의(渾象儀)의 복원 연구: 구조와 작동 메커니즘을 중심으로

  • 홍대용(洪大容, 1731~1783)이 저술한 "담헌서(湛軒書)" 외집 권6의 <주해수용(籌解需用)>에는 수격식 천문시계인 혼상의(渾象儀)에 대한 기록이 나온다. 우리는 홍대용 혼상의에 대한 구조와 작동 메커니즘에 대한 연구를 통해 복원 모델의 개념설계를 진행하였다. 혼상의는 세 개의 환(環)과 2개의 층(層)으로 되어 있다. 외층에 해당하는 환 구조는 자신이 제작한 혼천의인 통천의(統天儀) 구조와 유사하다. 내층에 해당되는 혼상구에는 별자리와 은하수를 그려넣고, 태양과 달의 모습을 구슬 형태로 매달아 천상의 운행 모습을 구현하였다. 통천의는 추동력으로 운행되며, 혼상의는 물에 의한 수격방식으로 운행된다. 홍대용의 수격방식은 조선에서 전통적으로 사용한 동력체계로 중국의 대표적 천문시계인 수운의상대의 동력체계를 간소화시켰다. 혼상의에 대한 기록은 조선시대 수격식 동력체계를 다룬 거의 유일한 문헌기록으로 수격식 작동 메커니즘 연구에 중요한 단서를 제공해 주고 있다.
