Development of 2D Finite Element Model for the Analysis of Shallow Water Flow (천수흐름 해석을 위한 2차원 유한요소모형의 개발)

  • A finite element model for analyzing surface water flow was developed. Shallow water equation was discretized and solved by Galerkin and Newton-Raphson method. Triangular or rectangular elements can be mixed together to construct meshes. The algebraic equation was solved by frontal method which is very efficient in finite element problem. The developed model was applied to rectangular meandering channel with two bends and transverse velocities and water depth distributions were examined. High velocity was located near the inner bank at the apexes of the bends and velocity distribution was symmetrical about the centerline at the midsection of two bend and super elevation also occurred. Simulation results showed very good agreement with measured data. Another numerical simulation was carried out in mild, steep, adverse and abrupt bottom change slope and channels with weir. 12 water surface profiles of gradually varied flow were correct in terms of hydraulic interpretation.

Effects of Social Support, Sleep Quality, and Oral Health Impact Profile on Depression among Pregnant Women (일부 임신부의 사회적 지지, 수면의 질 및 구강건강영향지수가 우울수준에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined 191 pregnant women before delivery in an obstetrics and gynecology clinic in North Gyeongsang Province from May to September 2016 by using a questionnaire after obtaining informed consent for voluntary participation in the study. The study was performed to investigate the association of depression with sociodemographic characteristics, pregnancy-related characteristics, social support, sleep quality and Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP) in pregnant women. The prevalence of depression among the pregnant women was 25.1% in the healthy group and 74.9% in the depression group. The depression level was significantly higher in women in the depression group who were unsatisfied with their marriage life, had no occupation, had lower social support, had poor sleep quality and had higher OHIP scores. The results of the logistic regression analysis indicated that, the risk ratio for more severe depression was significantly higher in the group with no experience of miscarriage and induced childbirth than in the group with childbirth experience. Conversely, the risk ratio for more severe depression was significantly lower in the group with high social support than in the group with low social support. Depression in the respondents significantly positively correlated with sleep quality and OHIP score but significantly negatively correlated with social support. The multiple regression analysis revealed that the depression level was significantly higher by 22.3% among pregnant women with lower marital satisfaction, no childbirth experience, lower social support and higher OHIP scores. In summary, depression was related to marital satisfaction, childbirth experience, social support, and OHIP score, among others, in pregnant women in this study. Therefore, further investigation is warranted to construct programs and measures that will help build positive thinking by designing and verifying a three-dimensional study model by taking into consideration various variables to reduce the incidence of depression in pregnant women.

A Fully Coupled Hydrogeomechanical Numerical Analysis of Rainfall Impacts on Groundwater Flow in Slopes and Slope Stability (사면 내의 지하수 유동과 사면의 안정성에 대한 강수 영향의 완전 연동된 수리지질역학적 수치 해석)

  • A hydrogeomechanical numerical model is presented to evaluate rainfall impacts on groundwater flow in slopes and slope stability. This numerical model is developed based on the fully coupled poroelastic governing equations for groundwater flow in deforming variably saturated geologic media and the Galerkin finite element method. A series of numerical experiments using the model developed are then applied to an unsaturated slope under various rainfall rates. The numerical simulation results show that the overall hydromechanical slope stability deteriorates, and the potential failure nay initiate from the slope toe and propagate toward the slope crest as the rainfall rate increases. From the viewpoint of hydrogeology, the pressure head and hence the total hydraulic head increase as the rainfall rate increases. As a result, the groundwater table rises, the unsaturated zone reduces, the seepage face expands from the slope toe toward the slope crest, and the groundwater flow velocity increases along the seepage face. From the viewpoint of geomechanics, the horizontal displacement increases, and the vertical displacement decreases toward the slope toe as the rainfall rate increases. This may result from the buoyancy effect associated with the groundwater table rise as the rainfall rate increases. As a result, the overall deformation intensifies toward the slope toe, and the unstable zone, in which the factor of safety against shear failure is less than 1, becomes thicker near the slope toe and propagates from the slope toe toward the slope crest. The numerical simulation results also suggest that the potential tension failure is likely to occur within the slope between the potential shear failure surface and the ground surface.

  • Ad hoc 네트워크에서 노드의 한정된 에너지 용량은 개설 경로의 수명과 안정성에 많은 영향을 미치는 요소이다. 따라서 이러한 에너지 한계를 극복하기 위한 다양한 power-aware 라우팅 프로토콜들이 네트워크 계층에서 제안되고 있으며, 이들 라우팅 프로토콜들은 기본적으로 노드의 배터리 잔량 에너지와 전송 전력량을 경로 탐색 과정에서 반영한다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 power-aware 라우팅 프로토콜보다 개설 경로의 동작시간을 높이고 전체 네트워크의 부하균등을 이를 수 있도록 하는 새로운 라우팅 프로토콜을 제안하며 TPR(Traffic load based power-aware routing protocol)로 명명한다. TPR은 NS-2를 이용한 성능 평가를 통해 전체 네트워크의 부하 균등과 개설 경로의 수면, 안정성 측면에서의 개선점을 확인한다.

Estimation of evaporation from water surface in Yongdam Dam using the empirical evaporation equaion (경험적 증발량 공식을 적용한 용담댐 시험유역의 수면증발량 추정)

  • This study introduced a method of estimating water surface evaporation using the physical-based Penman combination equation (PCE) and the Penman wind function (PWF). A set of regression parameters in the PCE and PWF models were optimized by using the observed evaporation data for the period 2016-2017 in the Yongdam Dam watershed, and their effectiveness was explored. The estimated evaporation over the Deokyu Mountain flux tower demonstrated that the PWF method appears to have more improved results in terms of correlation, but both methods showed overestimation. Further, the PWF method was applied to the observed hydro-meteorological data on the surface of Yongdam Lake. The PWF method outperformed the PCE in the estimation of water surface evaporation in terms of goodness-of-fit measure and visual evaluation. Future studies will focus on a regionalization process which can be effective in estimating water surface evaporation for the ungauged area by linking hydrometeorological characteristics and regression parameters.

A study on historical changes of landforms and habitat structures in the mid-stream of the Mangyeong River by weirs (보 설치로 인한 만경강 중류의 하천지형과 서식처 구조 변화에 관한 연구)

  • This study explained the historical changes in the habitat structures based on the aerial photographs (1948, 1967, 1973, 1989 and 2010) of the mid-stream reach of the Mangyeong River. The habitat structure was divided into landforms and aquatic habitats. The landform was classified into bare land, vegetated land, water surface, farmland and artificial land. The aquatic habitat was classified into natural riffle, artificial riffle, run, head wando, tail wando, mid wando, pond and chute channel. The ratio of bareland decreased, and water surface and vegetated land increased after the excavation in 1970s and since the construction of weir in 1980s. As historical changes of aquatic habitat, ratio of run decreased sharply while mid wando increased sharply. aquatic habitats such as head wando, tail wando, and pond located on bars decreased dramatically.

Dysmenorrhea in High School Girls and Its influencing Factors (여고생의 월경곤란증 실태 및 그 영향 요인)

  • The study is a descriptive research to determine high school girls' the status of dysmenorrhea and to look into influencing factors about how relationships between variables: sleep disturbance, stress, anxiety, dietary habit have an effect on dysmenorrhea. Our collected data consisted of 160 high school girls living in B metropolitan city. The study period lasted four weeks, going from Oct 12 to Nov 6, 2020. The resulting data was analyzed with SPSS/WIN 21.0 version to analyze. As a result of this study, The correlated factors of dysmenorrhea included sleep disturbance(r=.531, p<.001), stress(r=.349, p<.001), anxiety(r=.300, p=.003) and dietary habit(r=-.205, p=.041). The prevalent factors influencing dysmenorrhea are sleep disturbance, menstrual periods, menstrual cycles, and anxiety. Therefore, it will be needed to improve the quality of sleep, reduce anxiety, try to regulate menstrual periods and menstrual cycle in order to relieve high school girls' dysmenorrhea.

  • 도시화 및 산업화로 인해 불투수면이 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 불투수면 증가로 인해 유역의 물순환 구조가 왜곡되고, 비점오염 배출량이 증가하는 등의 문제가 야기되고 있다. 왜곡된 물순환 체계 회복 및 비점오염 배출 저감 등을 위해 중장기 물순환 개선 목표 수립과 관련된 조항이 물환경보전법 상에 추가되어 2020년 시행예정이며, 광주, 대전, 울산, 안동, 김해시 등은 물순환 선도도시로 선정되어 관리되고 있는 등 물순환 개선을 위한 노력이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 경안천 중권역을 대상으로 HSPF (Hydrological Simulation Program - FORTRAN) 모형을 이용하여 유출량을 모의하여, 소권역별로 물순환요소를 도출하고, 물순환율을 산정 하고자 한다. 모형의 구동을 위한 기상자료는 기상청으로부터 취득하였으며, 지형자료는 환경부의 소권역도, 국토지리정보원의 수치지형도를 활용하였고, 토지피복도는 국가공간정보포털에서 취득한 연속지적도를 토지피복 분류에 따라 재분류하여 구축하였다. 모형의 보정을 위한 유량자료는 환경부 유량측정망과 수위관측소의 유량자료를 활용하였으며, 2013~2017년은 보정, 2008~2012년은 검정기간으로 활용하였다. 도출된 수문모의 결과를 활용하여 2008년부터 2017년까지 소권역별로 매년 물순환율을 산정하고 비교하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 추후 물순환 현황파악을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • 도시화 및 산업화로 인해 불투수면이 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 불투수면의 증가로 인해 물순환 구조 왜곡이 발생하고 있으며, 이로 인해 집중 호우시 첨두유량 증가로 인한 도시 침수, 자연적 침투량 감소로 인한 지하수 고갈 및 하천 건천화, 도시 열섬 현상 등 다양한 물 문제가 발생하고 있다. 건강한 물순환 체계 회복을 위해, 환경부에서는 소권역별 불투수면적률에 대한 중장기 물순환 목표를 포함하여 물환경보전법을 개정하였으며, 2020년부터 시행예정이다. 본 연구에서는 안성천 유역을 대상으로 소권역별 불투수면적률을 산정하고 불투수면적률 저감에 따른 유출량 등의 유역 물순환 구조 변화를 분석하고자 한다. 불투수면적률은 연속수치지도, 연속지적도, 용도지역 지구도 3개의 지리정보자료를 중첩하여 최신 불투수면적 정보가 반영되도록 계산하였으며, 물순환 구조는 HSPF 모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 불투수면적과 물순환 요소간의 상관관계 분석을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

고파랑에 수리학적으로 유리한 복합구조 방파호안

  • 미포만 공유수면 매립공사는 방파호안 854.5m를 축조하고 부지 $100,514.3m^{2}$를 매립하여 현대중공업(주)의 조선용 블록 제작장 및 적치장을 조성하는 사업이다. 2004년 2월 해양 수산부 설계자문을 실시하고, 2004년 5월 실시계획 인가를 득하여 사업을 추진하여 오던 중, 최근의 이상파랑 및 태풍 내습 (2005년 8월, 태풍 나비)등으로 인하여 피해가 발행하는 동 사업시행자인 현대중공업(주)에서 사업계획의 일부 변경(공구분할)올 요청하여 1공구(미포만 북방파제 보강)공사만을 2005년 8월말로 완료하였다. 미포만 공유수면(II-Block) 매립공사(2공사)는 파량 내습시 피해발생 사전예방 및 상향된 심해설계파 등에 안전한 구조물 축조로 배후매립부지의 안전성을 확보할 수 있도록 호안의 마루높이를 상향하고 케이슨 및 피복재 중량을 증대하여 설계 및 시공할 수 있도록 하였다.
