The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions of storage space and to plan the desirable storage space in apartment based on the results of the investigatiiov. The personal interview and phisical trace method were used for this study. The sample was taken from 50 housewives living in apartments on 30pyong. The results were analyzed by SAS package program. The major findings were summarized as follows: 1) Total amount of storage space was from 6.65$m^3$ to 28.84$m^3$ and the mean was 13.01$m^3$. 2) Storage space of each room was deficient, especially bedroom II and III. 3) The number of family member was related to the satisfaction of storage space.

This study aimed to identify characteristics of design and decoration of Danish peasant furniture especially painted storage furniture used during the 18-19th century before modern design movement of Internationalism prevailed all over the world. Owing to the fact that Danish peasant furniture were made of available conifer around the farms painting method was preferred to carving. Remoted from main land of western and southern Europe Scandinavian countries longed to imitate their Baroque style architecture and furniture made of marble of hard woods. Painting method was adopted to disguise cheap wood so that it looked like expensive or exotic materials such as marble oak metal granite etc. what they could not afford to buy. Eventually they evolved unique materials equipments and methods for imitation painting in order to decorate folk storage furnitures as well as formal architecture : palaces churches and other official buildings,. Marbling clouds marbling graining stencil spatter painting trompe-I'oeil were common to imitate stones or hard woods. Strong and bright colors had good combination together with dull colors on the Danish peasant painted furniture.

This study attempts to fiugure out how residents differentially perceive the storage according to the housing types and sizes. The major findings are as follows: 1) The residents in the tenement house dissatisfy the storage space more than those in the detached house. 2) It is the arrangement that is considered as the most important factor while storaging. 3) It is non-daily goods that is the most difficult item to store. 4) Most information about storage is obtained form mass media.

The purpose of this study is to induce user to use storage equipment as fixed storage space in urban housing. The object of investigation is limited to the resident of detached and apartment house in Daegu, analysised the problems and their attitueds of using storage equipments amount of cloths and bel-clothes. On the basis of these recommended the optimum volume of storage space for clothes and bed-clothes by family types. Applied to the standard of detached house, the optimum volume of storage space for clothes and bed-clothes in each rooms are as following. 1) The volume of master room is ranged 7.34M3 and 8.65M3 the average is 7.97M3. 2) Children's room is ranged 1.18M3 and 3.26M3, the average is 2.51M3 under number of users and their age. 3) The aged room is calculated average 6.53M3.

Purpose of this paper is find the similarity and dissimilarity of Korean, Chinese and Japanese traditional furnitures for storage. Also this paper tries to have a comparative analysis on life style, characteristics of housing space and furniture's form of three countries. The study can be summarized as follows. First, space scale and seat levels of three countries are related to furniture's height and form, so that Chinese furniture have over scale than human, and Japanese furniture have the type of box for stacking. Second, the way of heating and materials of floors are concerned with the type of furniture's legs. Third, even if these dissimilarities, the aesthetic characteristics of three countries furniture would be a data base for making design identity of East Asian modern housing furniture.

해양수산부(장관 윤진숙)는 위험물의 분류기준을 국제기준과 동일하게 적용하고 위험물질 운송에 따른 안전성 제고를 위해 "위험물 선박운송 기준"을 개정하여 시행한다고 밝혔다. 개정된 기준은 국제적으로 적용되는 "국제해상위험물규칙"(IMDG Code)의 최근 개정내용을 반영하고, 위험물 및 화물구역의 종류별 방화장치 요건을 강화하여 위험화물로 인한 선박의 화재 및 폭발 사고가 감소될 것으로 기대된다. 특히, 위험물 운송 용기를 용기의 종류, 재료 및 형태별로 구분하고 외관, 구조 및 성능검사로 세분하여 위험물 용기 검사체계를 효율화함으로써 민원인의 편의를 도모하였으며, 또한, 국제기준에 따라 자동차를 일반선박이나 컨테이너에 수납하여 운반하는 경우 위험물로 분류되어 위험물수납 검사대상이 된다. 본 고에서는 "위험물 선박운송 기준" 일부 개정(안)에 대해 살펴보도록 한다.

The shortage of storage space in the apartment housing has been chronic problem in the Korean housing history. So far many studies on the storage space focused on the enlargement of indoor storage space but these studies could not be a complete solution. To solve problem, this study analyzed the case which installed exterior storage space and the regulations. The followings are several findings. The exterior storage space should be a essential element in the apartment planning and should be included as a community facility. The standards on the size, safety, facility, and management of storage space should be enacted.

Spaceborne imaging sensors require periodic calibrations using an on-board calibration device for an image quality of observation satellites. The on-board calibration device consists of a blackbody to provide uniform radiance temperatures and calibration mechanism with a function of stow and deploy to target the blackbody during the calibration. Among these devices, the calibration mechanism is required to implement a fail-safe function to prevent blocking of the main optical path when the mechanism stops at a certain position during on-orbit calibration. In addition, structural safety of the mechanical driving part of the mechanism within the launch environment must be guaranteed. In this study, we proposed a deploy/stow-type calibration mechanism that provides launch-lock and fail-safe function. The effectiveness of the functionality of the proposed mechanism was validated through functional test using engineering model.
