A rare case of otitis media following general anesthesia is presented. There was no obvious cause of otitis media. Normal functioning resumed after one week. The patient was given medications including antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.

A design of an industrial microcomputer control system for an one-through tube boiler using oil is presented. The microcomputer system is based on standard iSBC 88/40 board. The software consist of a RTE(real time executive) and application tasks. The designed control system saves fuel and gives a more reliable over-all operation.

차세대원자로의 안전계통 성능향상을 위하여 축압기 설계에서 채택하고 있는 피등적 유량조절 장치인 vortex 밸브의 특성을 분석하였다. 단순화된 해석모델을 이용하여 vortex chamber의 유동 pattern을 분석하였으며 vortex 밸브의 성능에 중요한 영향을 미치는 기하학적 인자들의 영향 유동모드 전환시 주유량이 공급되는 수관의 수위거동 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 3차원 모의가 가능한 FLUENT 코드를 사용하여 vortex chamber의 유동장을 해석하여 vortex 밸브의 유동특성을 분석하였다.

Superior orbital fissure syndrome is characterized by ophthalmoplegia, ptosis of the eye, reflex dilation of the pupil, and anesthesia of the upper eyelid and forehead. This syndrome may be the result of craniofacial fractures as well as neoplasms of the retrobulbar space, hematomas in the orbital muscle cone and retrobulbar space, and hematoma and infection of the cavernous sinus. A case of superior orbital fissure syndrome is described.

강원도 춘천군, 명주군, 평창군에서 채집한 산골조개(pisidium (Neopisidium) coreanum)의 발생형태 및 산란시기에 대한 조직학적 결과는 다음과 같다. 산골조개는 난태생이고 아가미를 보육장으로 이용하여 발생을 하였다. 유패는 한 개체의 성패내에서 최고 19마리까지의 유패를 보유하였으며 방출 즉시 독깁 생활을 하였지만 수관의 구별은 어려웠다. 산란은 일년내내 할 수 있으며 생식소내에서 난소와 정소의 배우자 발생 시기가 다른 것으로 보아 자가수정을 하지 않는것으로 관찰되었다.
