In this work, we have performed the application experiment for real distribution line to diagnose the underground power cables using DC voltage decay measurement system. We have also performed the Isothermal Relaxation Current test for the same distribution line using KDA-l. We could confirmed possibility of grading the insulation aging state of underground power cables. Therefore, we conclude that it is possible to apply DC voltage decay method to the real distribution line.

This paper describes a diagnosis of distribution cable splices by analysis of ultrasonic signals which are generated by partial discharge. A method of ultrasonic signal was used to detect internal defects in distribution cable splices. It is possible that analysis of ultrasonic signal predicts failure by partial discharge generated in distribution cable splices.

This paper presents mechanical properties and weatherability of FRP pole used for a distribution line about high strength and good insulation properties. The experiment strength obtained in cantilever beam test are comparable to ES standards. The environmental factors, such as elevated temperatures, high humidity, and corrosive fluids, and ultraviolet(UV) rays, influence on the performance of Polymeric matrix composite.

Specially, the porcelain type insulator is required exchanging to polymer insulator acceding to the environmental consideration In this paper, we have developed the estimation system using the PD testing. The approach of PD has been very successful applied to the various practical insulator.

This paper presents experimental results on the recycling aluminum wires used in the actual field. Several testings were carried out with the recycled aluminum wires to prove that they are reusable. Mechanical, electrical and oxidation properties of recycled and new ACSR $160\;mm^2$ were campared after 7.5 year service aging at the salt comtaminated areas of Korean peninsular.

본고에서는 언급한 바와 같이 각 나라의 전기방식은 단상 3선식과 4선식이 대부분임을 알 수 있으며, 우리나라의 경우 부하특성은 동력수용이 급증에 따른 부하의 고밀도화로 인한 3상 4선식 220/380-Y 공급이 증가 추세에 있다. 한편, 수요밀도가 높은 단상 2선식 공급지역도 부하가 증가됨에 따라 공급능력의 한계성 도달이 예상되고 단상 3선식 110/220V 지역 역시 공급능력의 한계성 도달이 예상되는 바, 단상3선식 220/440V(440V는 Floating) 승압의 필요성이 요구되고 있다.

오늘날 대부분의 에너지를 전기에 의존함에 따라 전력사용이 급증하고 부하가 대용량화되어 및 정적 전력공급이 중요한 문제로 대두되었다. 이러한 추세에 따라 송ㆍ배전 설비도 점차 대용량화 및 고전압화 되고 신뢰성을 요구하게 되며, 각종 배전 설비의 제조기술이 더욱 복합 다양하게 발전하고 있다. 그 중 전력계통에서 뇌 혹은 개폐서지 등의 과전압을 흡수ㆍ억제하여, 전력설비와 계통보호를 위해 설치하는 것이 피뢰기이다. 따라서 어떻게 과전압을 낮게 억제할 수 있을까 하는 것이 피뢰기의 가장 중요한 성능이라고 말할 수 있다. (중략)

This paper provides the results of dielectric properties for aged or controlled lightening arresters. The aged lightening arresters were used for five years in distribution line. The leakage current of lightening arresters and elements was measured to confirm whether the lightening arrester was deteriorated or not. The microstructure was also investigated to determine the size of grain and grain boundary. The dielectric properties of aged lightening arresters were compared to those of controlled lightening arresters. The dielectric constant and the tan${\delta}$ of aged lightening arrester were larger than those of controlled one, resulting from accelerated aging due to the thin grain boundary.
