The Study on Economic Evaluation of Anti Fouling Coatings based on Ship's Speed Loss in Accordance with ISO 19030 Standard (ISO 19030에 따른 선박의 속력 손실을 고려한 방오도료의 경제성 평가)

  • The purpose of this paper is to establish the basic procedure and method for selection of preferred anti-fouling paint considering economic analysis according to ship's speed loss based on ISO 19030 that has been published in 2016 to prescribe practical methods for measuring changes in ship specific hull and propeller performance. In this study, six (6) anti-fouling paint products have been assumed for alternatives with each target maximum average speed loss and carried out comparison of the alternatives and sensitivity analysis in assumed conditions for selection of the preferred alternative.

Establishment of Navigational Risk Assessment Model Combining Dynamic Ship Domain and Collision Judgement Model (선박동적영역과 충돌위험평가식을 결합한 항해위험성평가모델 전개)

  • This paper considers the Marine Traffic Risk Assessment for fixed and moving targets, which threaten officers during a voyage. The Collision Risk Assessment Formula was calculated based on a dynamic ship domain considering the length, speed and maneuvering capability of a vessel. In particular, the Navigation Risk Assessment Model that is used to quantitatively index the effect of a ship's size, speed, etc. has been reviewed and improved using a hybrid combination of a vessel's dynamic area and the Collision Risk Assessment Formula. Accordingly, a new type of Marine Traffic Risk Assessment Model has been suggested giving consideration to the Speed Length Ratio, which was not sufficiently reflected in the existing Risk Assessment Model. The larger the Speed Length Ratio (dimensionless speed), the higher the CJ value. That is, the CJ value is presented well by the Speed Length Ratio. When the Speed Length Ratio is large, states ranging from [Caution], [Warning], [Dangerous] or [Very Dangerous] are presented from a greater distance than when the Speed Length Ratio is small. The results of this study, can be used for route and port development, including dangerous route avoidance, optimum route planning, breakwater width, bridge span, etc. as well as the development of costal navigation safety charts. This research is also applicable for the selection of optimum ship routing and the prevention of collisions for smart ships such as autonomous vessels.

  • 본 논문에서는 한 쌍의 수동소나를 이용하여 미지의 잠항물체의 존재 유무를 확인하고 각 센서에 도달하는 시간지연의 차를 평가하는 Detection과 Tracking 알고리즘을 연구한다. 이 과정에서 이동하는 표적의 속력에 의한 도플러효과를 보상하는 2차원 확률분포 함수를 적용함으로 보다 정확한 결과를 도출한다. 관측신호의 Cross-Correlation과 Bayesian Method를 이용하여 계산한 시간지연과 도플러효과 비의 이차원 Likelihood 함수로부터 사후확률 (Posterior Probability)을 구하여 발견 평가와 추적을 수행한다.

  • 본 연구는 도로표면의 기복 또는 굴곡의 변화가 자동차 탑승자에게 미치는 자율신경계의 반응을 관찰하고자 하였다. 아스팔트, 시멘트, 비포장도로를 각각 30 km/h의 속력으로 정속 주행하면서 ECG, GSR, Skin Temperature 의 생리변화를 3분간 측정하였고, 주행 후에는 각각의 도로 주행시 느꼈던 감성의 변화를 주관적 평가지로 검정하였다. 건강한 5명의 지원자가 이 실험에 참여하였고 도로표면의 기복의 변화로부터 유발되는 감성에만 집중하도록 요구하여 다른 간섭효과로부터 유발되는 감성의 변화를 최소화하도록 하였다. 정차에 비해 각 도로 주행시 피험자는 아스팔트, 시멘트, 비포장도로 순서로 불쾌도와 긴장도가 증가하였다고 주관적 평가를 하였다. 또한 아스팔트, 시멘트, 비포장도로 순서로 평균 R-R 간격이 점차 감소하였고, GSR의 진폭은 증가하였으며, 피부온도는 감소하였다. 본 연구로부터 도로표면의 기복의 정도가 증가할수록 교감신경계가 활성화된다는 사실을 관찰할 수 있었고 이러한 결과는 주관적 평가결과와도 일치하였다.

Elementary Teachers' Epistemological Beliefs and Practice on Convergent Science Teaching: Survey and Self-Study (융합적 과학수업에 대한 초등교사의 인식론적 신념과 실행 -조사연구 및 자기연구-)

  • This study is a complex type consisting of survey study and self-study. The former investigated elementary teachers' epistemological beliefs on convergence knowledge and teaching. As a representative of the result of survey study I, as a teacher as well as a researcher, was the participant of the self-study, which investigated my epistemological belief on convergence knowledge and teaching and my execution of convergent science teaching based on family resemblance of mathematics, science, and physical education. A set of open-ended written questionnaires was administered to 28 elementary teachers. Participating teachers considered convergent teaching as discipline-using or multi-disciplinary teaching. They also have epistemological beliefs in which they conceived convergence knowledge as aggregation of diverse disciplinary knowledge and students could get it through their own problem solving processes. As a teacher and researcher I have similar epistemological belief as the other teachers. During the self-study, I tried to apply convergence knowledge system based on the family resemblance analysis among math, science, and PE to my teaching. Inter-disciplinary approach to convergence teaching was not easy for me to conduct. Mathematical units, ratio and rate were linked to science concept of velocity so that it was effective to converge two disciplines. Moreover PE offered specific context where the concepts of math and science were connected convergently so that PE facilitated inter-disciplinary convergent teaching. The gaps between my epistemological belief and inter-disciplinary convergence knowledge based on family resemblance and the cases of how to bridge the gap by my experience were discussed.

Measurement of Maneuverability in the Restricted Area by Numerical Model Ship (수치 모형선에 의한 제한수역에서의 조종성능 측정)

  • The ship maneuverability is changed by the effects of the bank cushion and the squat in the restricted water area. It is difficult to test the ship maneuverability by the real ship in the restricted water area because of ship's safety. In this study, a numerical model ship was used to simulate the ship's motion and to get information about the bank cushion and the squat in the restricted water area. The less apart from the quay the ship ran, the more ship's heading changed. The greatest change of ship's heading was $22.37^{\circ}$ when a ratio of the length between ship and quay to ship's breadh(=D/B) was 0.2. The squat of the ship was greater in shallower water and at faster speed. The greatest squat was 0.29m when a ratio of water depth to ship's draft(H/d) was 1.25 and ship's speed was 8 knots, the reduced speed was found to be the most important factor in the shallow water area for safety of the ship.

  • It is well known that the ship manoeuvring motion is greatly affected by hydrodynamic forces and moments acting between two vessels passing too close to each other in confined waters, such as in a harbour or narrow channel. This interaction between two vessels could be assumed to be the functions of the longitudinal distance, transverse distance and their speeds. The aim of this study is to calculate the interaction between two vessels passing close to each other on parallel courses by simulation, and to estimate the effect of rudder action and time at collision through simulation under the condition of various longitudinal distances and different speed-ratios of the two vessels.

분자류 영역에 따른 터보분자펌프(TMP) 배기속도 측정에 관한 연구

  • 고진공펌프 중의 하나인 터보분자펌프(turbo-molecular pump: TMP)는 반도체/디스플레이 등 첨단 공정에서 진공 환경을 조성하는 핵심장비로서 현재 한국표준과학연구원 진공기술센터에서 개발 중인 고진공펌프 종합특성평가시스템을 구축 중이며, 1000 L/s 및 2500L/s 배기속도 용량을 가지는 터보분자펌프(TMP)의 database를 구축하고 있다. 이에 터보분자펌프(TMP)의 배기속도 측정 시 사용되는 가스의 분자류 영역에 따른 배기속도의 변화를 연구하고자 한다. 터보분자펌프(TMP)의 배기속도는 분자류 영역에 따라 상이한 배기속도를 가진다. 특히 가벼운 분자들은 터보분자펌프(TMP)로 배기시키기 어려우며, 분자량이 작은 가스들은 분자량이 큰가스 분자들에 비해 압축비(compression ratio)도 작아진다. 압축비가 큰 경우에는 실재 운전조건에 무관하게 배기속도가 최대값을 가지지만, 압축비가 작을 경우에는 운전 시 터보분자펌프(TMP)의 압축비에 따라 배기속도가 달라 질 수 있으며, 압축비는 펌프의 inlet에서의 압력과 exhaust에서의 압력의 비이다. 즉, 가벼운 기체 분자(H2, He 등)들은 무거운 기체 분자(N2, Ar 등)들에 비해 배기속력이 작아진다. 현재 개발 중인 한국표준과학연구원 진공기술센터의 고진공 종합특성평가시스템을 이용하여 분자류 영역에 따른 가벼운 기체 분자와 무거운 기체 분자의 배기속도를 측정하여 분자류 영역에 따라 상이한 배기속도의 변화를 연구하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 터보분자펌프(TMP)의 분자류 영역에 따른 가벼운 기체 He과 무거운 기체 N2를 사용하여 압축비의 변화와 배기속도 측정에 관해 상관관계를 제시하며, 분자류 영역에 따른 터보분자펌프(TMP)의 배기속도 운전성능을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 일반적으로 운영체제의 데이터 백업을 목적으로 널리 사용되고 있는 하드 디스크는 대역폭와 탐색시간이 매우 저조한 성능을 보이고 있어 저장 능력과 성능사이에 격차는 나날이 증가하고 있다는 단점이 있다. 반면에 플래시 메모리의 새로운 응용 분야로 주목을 받고 있는 SSD는 고정된 반도체에 자료를 저장하기 때문에 탐색 시간이 존재하지 않아 데이터에 접근하는 시간이 훨씬 빠르다는 이점을 가지고 있다. 하지만 하드 디스크에 비해 현저히 떨어지는 저장능력과 비경제적인 가격 등의 문제점으로 인해 하드 디스크를 완전히 대치하기에는 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 HFS(Hybrid File System)는 HDD와 SSD를 제안한다. HFS는 하드 디스크의 큰 저장능력과 SSD의 빠른 데이터 접근 속력 등의 각 디스크의 장점을 최대한으로 이용하여 데이터를 빠르게 처리할 수 있도록 고안 되었다.
