In this study, corrosion potential ($E_{corr}$), corrosion rate, and polarization resistance were measured aimed at inorganic inhibitors (passive film type) and organic inhibitors (absorption type). The experiment was conducted using potentiostat for the variable molar ratio and chloride ion concentration of the components of inhibitors in an aqueous solution of saturated calcium hydroxide targeting corrosion. As a result, it was possible to ensure an anticorrosive performance of at least a 1.2 molar ratio of inorganic inhibitors. Also, the organic inhibitors ensured the prevention of the anticorrosive performance of at least about a 0.3 molar ratio. It also showed the tendency that between polarization resistance and corrosion rate, Ecorr and corrosion rate is inversely proportional to the linear. Conversely, the tendency between polarization resistance and Ecorr is proportional to the linear. Also, a distinct difference in organic and inorganic inhibitors' relationship to Ecorr, corrosion rate, and polarization resistance was not shown.

The changes of microflora and enzyme activities in Alaska pollack sikhae were evaluated in 3 different temperature conditions, 5$^{\circ}C$, 2$0^{\circ}C$ and alternating temperature (stored at 5$^{\circ}C$ after 10 days of fermentation at 2$0^{\circ}C$), respectively. The number of proteolytic bacteria and 2 lactic acid bacteria including Lactobacillus sp. and Pediococcus sp. increased rapidly up to 10 days and composed major portion of total viable cell (TVC) in sikhae fermented at 2$0^{\circ}C$, whereas those of TVC were occupied by Lactobacillus sp., Pediococcus sp. and yeast after 10 days of fermentation. The major species of microflora in sikhae fermented at alternating temperature were, composed of Lactobacillus, Pediococcus and Streptococcus after 10 days of fermentation. Especially, Leuconostoc sp. was kept up to 27 days at 5$^{\circ}C$ than other temperature conditions (16 days). The activities of protease and lipase in acidic region (pH 3.0) were higher at 2$0^{\circ}C$ than at 5$^{\circ}C$ due to sensitivity of temperature, although those of protease and lipase in neutral region (pH 7.0) were not found any differences in both temperatures. Changing temperature condition from 2$0^{\circ}C$ to 5$^{\circ}C$ in alternating temperature inactivated protease activity, whereas lipase activity was still maintained during fermentation.

In this report, we set up a simple device which enabled us to obtain data useful to estimate the relative capacity of thermal energy retention of greenhouse built with various plastic coverings. A box($20cm{\times}20cm{\times}30cm$) framed with flexiglass at the edges and covered with thin plastic films was made, in which were placed a thermostat-controlled nichrom wire heater and a thermal probe made of thermister to monitor temperature changes. A wheaston-bridge type transducer and a chart recorder were used to record the changes of temperature inside the box The data obtained by using the device showed that the relative rate of heat toss through plastic films with identical thickness decreased in the order of PE film>EVA film>PVC film and that IR additives such as fine silica gel improved the insulating power of plastic films. This observations are in well accord with general information, demostrating the feasibility of the device in usefulness for the purpose of screening of various commercial plastic coverings.

Quality variation of jar packing of Chanran-Jeotgal produced by improved process and conventional process were investigated during storage at 10, 20, and $30^{\circ}C$, respectively. The increasing rate of pH, volatile basic nitrogen (VBN), $CO_{2}$, and viable cell counts of Chanran-Jeotgal produced by improved process was slower than that of conventional process at all storage temperature. Also the result of sensory evaluation indicate that the production of Changran-Jeotgal by improved process may extend the shelf·life of jar packing Chanuan-Jeotgal. From above results, relationship between quality parameters was concluded. In case of Changran-Jeotgal in a jar, pressure, pH, L-value, VBN and sensory score were highly correlated. Therefore, these parameters are expected to use as shelf-life indication.

활판인쇄가 사라지고 있다. 전산사식방법이 도입되면서 급속도로 빨라진 이러한 현상은 이제 활판인쇄의 앞날을 '절망'으로 몰아놓고 있는 형편이다. 이제 9개업체만이 남아 명맥을 유지하고 있으나, 몇년 후에는 활판인쇄기계가 박물관의 한켠을 차지할지도 모를 일이다.
