표준식쌍성의 절대량

  • 우리는 분리형 쌍성 11개(원궤도 7개, 타원궤도 4개), 반분리형 쌍성 7개와 접촉형 쌍성 9개(근첩촉형 3개, 접촉형 2개, 초과 접촉형 4개)를 포함하는 27개의 다양한 종류의 표준식쌍성의 분석하여 절대량을 구하였다. 표준 식쌍성은 식쌍성의 광도곡선이 적어도 두 파장 영역 이상에서 그리고 모든 위상에서 골고루 관측되었고, 쌍성의 두 구성원 별에 대하여 시선속도 곡선이 발표된 식쌍성, 즉, 이중분광선 식쌍성 (Double line spectroscopic eclipsing binariy)으로 정의한다. 우리는 표준식쌍성의 370개의 후보에 대하여 문헌을 조사하여 관측 데이터를 확보 하였다. 이중에서 시선속도곡선과 광도곡선 자료가 동시에 존재하는 식쌍성은 80개이다. 이번 연구에서 우리는 표준식쌍성의 관측 질을 고려하여 27개의 식쌍성을 선택하여 절대량을 계산하였고, 이전 연구자들이 발표한 절대량과 비교 하였다. 이 논문에서 제시한 표준식쌍성의 유용성을 확인하기 위해 소마젤란은하에서 발견한 식쌍성의 광도곡선을 분석하여 측광학적인 해를 구하는 작업을 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 표준 식쌍성을 식쌍성의 종류별로 구분하고, 소마젤란은하에서 발견된 식쌍성 20여개를 선정하였다. 선정된 식쌍성을 표준식쌍성의 광도곡선과 형태를 비교하여 초기값을 결정하였고, 반복적인 차등보정법으로 측광학적인 해를 구하였다. 이 논문에서 제시한 표준식쌍성이 소마젤란은하에서 발견된 식쌍성들의 광도곡선의 형태를 대부분 포함하는 다양한 분포로 형성되어 있고, 이에 따른 측광학적인 해가 관측과 잘 일치함을 보여주고 있다.

  • In this paper, we have developed and analyzed the 2.45GHz microwave RFID system. Which is composed tag and interrogator using custom IC, and we have made the software driving the hardware for the bidirectional data transmission method. Using 3.6V power supply was used, the optimal identification range in the information transmission of the designed microwave RFID system operating at 9,600bps was l0m. In the control circuit of the tag, the low current consumption of 15$mutextrm{A}$ and the tag data transmission rate of 90% when the moving velocity was 80km/h.

석회암지역에서 불연속면의 물리검층반응

  • As a basic study of characterizing fracture condition in bore hole, conventional geophysical well log data consisting of sonic, gamma-gamma and resistivity logs were compared with geological core log and acousic televiewer log in limestone geology. Discontinuities shown on the acoustic televiewer log and the core log show fairly good correlation. The conventional Geophysical log is also shown to bi effective in locating discontinities in limestone geology; sonic log shows the best result and resistivity shows the worst. Particularly, the combination method of density and sonic logs is shown to be the most effective in delineating discontinuities.

  • We design and implement the DSP module for automotive radar using FMCW. The designed parameters are based on 77GHz FMCW radar, and show the resolution of 0.4m and 0.67km/h in distance and velocity, respectively. For detecting multiple targets, we discuss the relationship between fb's and targets. In addition, we show that the detection of multiple targets is very simple when the range of $f_r$ is sufficiently larger than that of $f_b$. In the front of ADC, the 2nd order differentiator is applied for reducing the effects of path-loss so that the ADC bits are reduced to 8 bits. The designed block is simulated in Matlab and implemented with DSP and micro-processor.

  • A coupling of two-dimensional model and GIS technique is applied to simulate sediment transport analysis. Accurate transformations are performed for the data which have various reduced scales. Basic maps are discretized the mesh of true scale for the finite element model by using the digital map and the Traverse Mercator coordinate. Under $200m^3/s$ flow rate condition, velocity vectors, depth contours, velocity contours and deposition contours are Presented for the 5km reach of midstream of Keum River from confluence of Ji-chun to Baekche Bridge. The simulation results of the study agree well with those of one-dimensional varied flow analysis and observed data. The flow and deposition pattern revealed a meandering characteristics of the river qualitatively.

  • A realization for automatic stock cubic measuring and distributing management embedded system with 3 dimensional ultrasonic sensing is presented in this paper. The height and width of cubic are measured by comparing the 3 values from 3 ultrasonic sensors with reference when an object is passing the conveyer and length is calculated by the passing time and velocity, compensate cubic values for error to vary with the environment temperature, and reduce the error by averaging the sensing data not to be right posture of object. The system enables to classify and load a packed stocks at the store and transportation practically based on the rectangular hexahedral objects.

  • 이 논문은 응급상황을 인식하기 위하여 어안렌즈를 통해 획득된 영상을 이용하여 기절 동작을 인식하는 방법을 제안한다. 거실의 천장 중앙에 위치한 어안렌즈(fish-eye lens)를 장착한 카메라로부터 화각이 170인 RGB 컬러 모델의 어안 영상을 입력 받은 뒤, 가우시안 혼합 모델 기반의 적응적 배경 모델링 방법을 이용하여 동적으로 배경 영상을 갱신한다. 입력 영상의 평균 밝기를 구하고 평균 밝기가 급격하게 변화하지 않도록 영상 픽셀을 보정한 뒤, 입력 영상과 배경 영상과 차이가 큰 픽셀을 찾음으로써 움직이는 객체를 추출하였다. 그리고 연결되어 있는 전경 픽셀 영역들의 외곽점들을 추적하여 타원으로 매핑하고 움직이는 객체 영역의 형태를 단순화하였다. 이 타원을 추적하면서 어안 렌즈 영상을 투시 영상으로 변환한 다음 타원의 크기 변화, 위치 변화, 이동 속도 정보를 추출하여 이동과 정지 및 움직임이 기절동작과 유사한지를 판단하도록 하였다. 본 논문에서는 실험자로 하여금 기절동작, 걷기 동작, 앉기 동작 등 여러 동작을 취하게 하고 기절 동작 인식을 실험하였다. 실험 결과 어안 렌즈 영상을 그대로 사용하는 것보다 투시 영상으로 변환하여 타원의 크기변화, 위치변화, 이동속도 정보를 이용하는 것이 높은 인식률을 보였다.

The Development of Velocity Ripple Controller Using Active Phase Compensation (능동형 위상보정을 이용한 정밀 속도리플 제어기의 개발)

  • Velocity ripple in manufacturing processes reduces productivity and limits the precision of the product. In practice, the frequency and phase of velocity ripples always change minutely, which makes it impossible to compensate for the ripple by simply inserting an opposite feed-forward signal in the system. In this study, an active-phase compensation algorithm was developed to enable the velocity-ripple controller to track the phase change of the ripples in real time. The proposed controller can compensate for the velocity ripple whatever its cause, including disturbance by the torque ripple. The algorithm consists of three functional modules: the velocity-ripple extractor, the synchronized integrator, and the phase shifter. Experimental results showed that the proposed controller clearly reduces velocity ripples with phase variation.

  • This paper introduces a design for real time wireless headset using ANC (active noise control) system based on NFxLMS adaptive filter algorithm. The training time of the proposed system is significantly reduced by using the RMS delay spread of a channel as an error correction parameter, and convergence rate of the FxLMS filter has been improved with updating the coefficients of the NFxLMS filter, which we have got during the training process. Our system has shorter training time and better convergence rate at the same noise reduction level than the conventional system under real noisy environment.

On the Enhancement of the Recognition Performance for Back Propagation Neural Networks (역전파 선경회로망의 인식성능 향상에 관한 연구)

  • This paper proposes the multi-modular neural network and compensative input algorithm. The former is to reduce convergence speed which is one of the neural network's inveterate problems, and the latter is to improve the recognition performance of the neural network. This paper consists of two major parts and a simulation. First, it shows the structure of mu1ti-modular neural network, which is applied to the recognition of Korean, English characters and numbers. Second, it describes the compensative input algorithm and shows the steps that determine the compensative input. The proposed algorithm was tested and compared with the existing neural networks in the recognition of Korean and English characters and numbers. The convergence speed is three times or more faster than the existing neural network. In the case that compensative input was applied to neural network, the recognition rate was improved more than 10%.
