  • 최근 우리사회는 다양한 형태의 여가활동 및 생활체육에 대한 국민적 욕구와 열망과 더불어서, IoT기술발전 및 시장확대에 힘입어 다양한 스마트 자전거 제품이 등장하고 있다. 그러나 기존 제품의 경우 속도계 장치에 의한 주행기록을 분석할 수 없고, 스마트폰 앱의 경우에는 정확한 데이터 측정이 불가능하다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 본 논문에서 개발한 스마트 자전거는 마그네틱 센서를 이용하여 거리, 속도, 시간 등을 측정/분석하고, 라이딩 정보를 어플리케이션에 저장하여 사용자가 라이딩 정보를 언제든 살펴볼 수 있다. 또한, 라이딩 속도에 따라서 LED의 색상이 변경되어 익스트림 라이딩 모드 및 LED제어, 스마트 자물쇠 기능 등을 제공한다.

  • This paper presents the torque control algorithm of a permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) for an electric scooter. The volume of the in-wheel type motor is restricted due to the complicated mechanical structure in wheel of an electric scooter, so the hall sensors instead of resolver and encoder for the rotor position sensors are installed. In this paper, the rotor speed and position are estimated from the speed estimator for vector control of a PMSM with hall sensors. The motor starts to rotate at standstill in BLDC mode with 120 degree conduction. After start up, the operating mode is changed to the vector control with maximum torque per ampere(MTPA) operation at low speeds and flux weakening control at high speeds. The performance of the proposed control algorithm is verified through the experiment in the electric scooter.

Design of Friction Dampers installed at a Multi-Story Building under Seismic Load (지진하중을 받는 다층 건물에 설치된 마찰감쇠기 설계)

  • In this study, a simplified design procedure for friction dampers of a multi-story structure in order to reduce seismic response is proposed. To get insight for control effect of the structure with friction dampers is difficult, because of a nonlinear characteristic by a friction damper. Since a control force of a friction damper is influenced by coupling velocity between floors, adjoining modes are coupled. Thus structural response are derived by assuming steady-state response in resonance. As it is impossible that an exact solution is obtained for seismic load, first, a closed form solution can be achieved under harmonic vibration. Second, to convert a three-story building into a single-degree-of-freedom(SDOF) structure, modal analysis is performed. Third, an equivalent damping ratio is derived with utilizing closed form solution. And response reducing factor is proposed by it. Finally, friction force of a damper is designed for using response reducing factor, and then designed dampers are verified for seven seismic data. The nonlinear analysis results confirm the validity of the proposed procedure.

  • This paper presents an optimal design of a magnetorheological(MR) fluid-based mount(MR mount) that can be used for to vibration control in diesel engines of ships. In this work, a mount that uses mixed-modes(squeeze mode, flow mode, and shear mode) is proposed and designed. To determine the actuating damping force of the MR mount required for efficient vibration control, the excitation force from a diesel engine is analyzed. In this analysis, a model of a V-type engine is considered. The relationship between the velocity and pressure of gas in terms of the torque acting on the piston is derived. Subsequently, by integrating the field-dependent rheological properties of commercially available MR fluid with the excitation force, the appropriate size of the MR mount is designed. In addition, to achieve the maximum actuating force under geometric constraints, design optimization is undertaken using the ANSYS parametric design language software. Through magnetic density analysis, optimal design parameters such as the bottom gap and radius of coil are determined.

  • In this paper, a cooling system of high-power propulsion motor with Energy Saving System(ESS) is described. Normally, the cooling system for ship consists of fresh water pump, sea water pump, 3-way valve and cooler. In the cooling system, F.W(Fresh Water) and S.W(Sea Water) pump is operated on rated rpm, and the 3-way valve is controlled for preventing over-cooling. So, the consumption power of pump's motor is changed according to a sea water temperature. In the proposed cooling system, F.W. pump and S.W pump is controlled by inverter, and it is can be reduced the consumption power. Also, it is proved with simulation.

  • 기간망의 속도 증가와 더불어 가입자망치 고속화는 필수 불가결한 것으로 이를 위해 메트로 네트웍의 고속화에 대한 노력이 진행되고 있다. 메트로 네트웍 및 가입자망의 고속화를 위해서는 시스템의 저가화가 필요하다. CWDM(Coarse WDM)은 채널 간격이 10 - 25nm로 채널 간격이 넓기 때문에 복잡한 온도제어 없이 저가의 Uncooled DFB-LD 및 WDM 소자를 사용할 수 있어서, 메트로 네트웍의 대용량화를 보다 경제적으로 실현가능하기 때문에 CWDM 시스템이 유망한 것으로 받아들여지고 있다. (중략)

  • This paper presents the design of a new sliding mode controller to improve the rate of convergence by Lyapunov's stability analysis. The proposed controller shows that the elimination of the steady state position errors can be achieved by replacing the desired trajectory by the virtual reference trajectory. The proposed control scheme which consists of the upper bounded and estimated values of eac term of the manipulator dynamic equation does not require good knowledge of the parameters and the computation of matrix inversion. The performance of proposed controller is evaluated by the simulation for a two-link manipulator.

  • This paper presents a new speed and position sensorless control method of permanent magnet synchronous motors based on the sliding mode observer. The sliding mode observer structure and its design method are discussed. Also, Lyapunov functions ar chosen for determining the adaptive law for the speed and the stator resistance estimator. The effectiveness of the proposed observer is confirmed by the computer simulation.

  • This paper presents a speed controller for the Sinusoidal type BLDC motor using the sliding mode. Since the sliding mode control has some practical limitations such as the chattering phenomenon and reaching phase problems, the technique of overcoming these limitations is proposed in a practical realization. This proposed speed control technique is composed of an smooth integral variable structure control(IVSC), and chattering prediction method.
