On the Manufacture of High Manganese Steel Plate (고(高)망간강(鋼) 판재(板材) 제조(製造)에 대한 연구(硏究))

  • For obtaining high manganese steel plates, the study has been made on the optimum conditions in melting, forging, rolling and water toughning treatment practices. The optimum water toughning temperature and time was found to be $1030^{\circ}C$ and 30 min. respectively for the plates of 1 mm thickness. The argon atmosphere is very effective for the prevention of decarburization which can be easily occured in open air. There is a close relation between the degree of c 이 d working and the hardess. The greater the cold reduction ratio is, the smaller the grain size is and it results in the increase of hardness. The improvement of tensile and bending properties can be made by the addition of small amount of nickel, chromium and vanadium.

  • 최근 들어 스마트폰이 급격하게 보급됨에 따라 스마트폰을 이용하여 상대방의 위치를 확인하는 응용 프로그램이 많이 개발되고 있다. 현재 운영중인 위치 추적 서비스는 두 사람이 스마트폰을 소지하고 있는 경우의 서비스 형태와 한 사람만 스마트폰을 소지하고 있는 경우의 서비스 형태로 분류된다. 우리는 스마트폰과 스마트폰 간의 위치 정보 교환을 통해 상대방의 위치를 찾는 방식이 아닌 스마트폰과 GPS모듈 간의 위치 정보 교환을 통하여 어린이나 애완견의 위치를 찾을 수 있도록 GPS 모듈을 개발하고 이 모듈과 통신하는 스마트폰 앱을 개발하였다. 개발된 GPS 모듈은 위치 정보를 받아 전달하는 기능만 가지므로 스마트폰에 비해 매우 저렴하게 구성할 수 있어서 적은 경비로 상대방을 찾을 수 있으며 공중망 대신 무선랜 망을 통해 위치정보를 전달하게 설계되어 추가적인 통신 비용이 들지 않는 장점을 가진다. 하지만 위치추적 서비스가 무선랜 망이 구축된 제한된 구역에서만 가능하다는 단점이 있다. 개발된 위치추적 서비스 방식은 시장이나 놀이공원 같은 특수한 지역에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

Sexual Maturation and Gametogenic Cycle of the Hard Shelled Mussel, Mytilus coruscus (Bivalvia: Mytilidae) (홍합, Mytilus coruscus의 성 성숙과 생식주기)

  • Sexual maturation and gametogenic cycle of the hard shelled mussel, Mytilus coruscus were investigated by means of histological method. Specimens were collected monthly in Hansan Bay of south coast, Korea from January to December 2002. Sex of the clam was dioecious. The gonads are composed of a number of gametogenic follicles. The gonad index (GI) was reached the maximum in February (3.40), and the minimum in August (1.18). The monthly variation of condition index (CI) coincides with gonad index. The main spawning occurs between February and March. The gametogenic cycle of the clam could be divided into six stages: resting (August to November), multiplicative (November to December), growing (December to January), maturation (January to February), partially spent (February to April) and completely spent/degenerative stage (April to July). Sex ratio (♀/♂) was 1:0.96.

Bending Strength and Microstructure of Brick Body from Fly-ash Clay Mixture (석탄회-점토계 벽돌소지의 곡강도와 미세구조)

  • Owing to consecutive start of operation of large-scale coal-fired power plants in Korea, the ash production amounts to about 2 million tons per year. The impact of rising disposal costs, looming environmental problems and increased ash tonnages has heightened the concerns about coal ash utilization. The paper mainly describes the correlation between bending strength and microstructure of brick body from fly ash and clay mixture. The results show that bending strength depends mainly on the size and quantity of pore, the sinterability of matrix, and the crack due to the coarse quarts grain, and that the brick body added 15 wt.% fly ash has the best bending strength over the whole firing range.

  • 국토해양부에서는 건설사업의 생산성을 향상시키고 건설사업의 효율성을 제고하기 위해 건설기술관리법 제15조의 2에 따라 건설공사지원통합정보체계의 구성.운영에 관한 법률을 마련하고 1998년부터 건설사업정보화(Continuous Acquisition Life-Cycle Support : CALS)를 추진중에 있다. 건설사업정보화의 일환으로 건설공사비의 상당부분을 차지하고 개인의 소유권과 관계되어 있어 민원 소지가 많은 보상자료를 관리하기 위해 용지보상시스템이 기 개발되어 운영중에 있으나 보상비 지출의 핵심과정인 지급단계가 국가재정정보시스템과 별도로 운영중에 있어 체계적인 보상자료 관리 및 보상비 지급의 이력관리가 제대로 이루어지 지고 있지 않다. 이는 곧 부적절한 보상비 집행으로 인한 국고예산 낭비의 소지가 있고 보상비 집행에 대한 대민 신뢰도 저하로 인해 다수의 소송으로 이어질수 있다. 이에 기존의 보상비 집행업무 프로세스 개선 및 건설CALS 용지보상시스템과 디지털예산회계시스템의 연계를 통해 보상비 집행의 투명성을 확보하고 민원인들에게 대민행정에 대한 신뢰도를 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 일반적으로 가정 내에서 발생하는 안전 사고의 비율은 비장애인에 비해 청각장애인이 높다. 이는 외부인에게 도움을 받을 수 없는 상황에서 청각장애인 스스로 위험상황에 대한 소리를 인지하지 못하기 때문이다[1]. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 시각적 효과 또는 진동 신호를 통해 청각장애인들에게 사고 상황 인지를 돕는 시스템을 제안한다. 현재 상용 제품의 경우는 청각장애인이 스마트기기를 소지하고 있을 때만 알림을 인지할 수 있기 때문에 긴급 상황에서 효과가 떨어질 수 있다. 따라서 제안 시스템에서는 어플리케이션 알림과 함께 건물내 전등 색상에 변화를 주는 서비스를 개발하여 스마트 기기를 소지하지 않는 상황에서도 위험상황에 대한 즉각적인 인지를 통해 위험에 대처할 수 있도록 한다. 소리를 시각화하는 것이 본 연구의 핵심 방법론이며 이를 위해 Convolutional Neural Network 모델과 라즈베리파이를 활용하였다.

Game-bot detection based on Clustering of asset-varied location coordinates (자산변동 좌표 클러스터링 기반 게임봇 탐지)

  • In this paper, we proposed a new approach of machine learning based method for detecting game-bots from normal players in MMORPG by inspecting the player's action log data especially in-game money increasing/decreasing event log data. DBSCAN (Density Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise), an one of density based clustering algorithms, is used to extract the attributes of spatial characteristics of each players such as a number of clusters, a ratio of core points, member points and noise points. Most of all, even game-bot developers know principles of this detection system, they cannot avoid the system because moving a wide area to hunt the monster is very inefficient and unproductive. As the result, game-bots show definite differences from normal players in spatial characteristics such as very low ratio, less than 5%, of noise points while normal player's ratio of noise points is high. In experiments on real action log data of MMORPG, our game-bot detection system shows a good performance with high game-bot detection accuracy.

  • Five kinds of sensory cells, called A1-, A2-, B-, C-, and D-type cell, respectively, are observed in the epithelial tissue of suker's infundibulum of Cephalopoda, Octopus minor. The A1-type cells lie side by with the B-type cell in the epithelium of sucker's infundibulum. In the A1-type, the nucleus shapes irregularly and the karyolymph appears dark due to its high electron density. The cytoplasm is filled with many vacuoles of various sizes ($0.04\sim0.4{\mu}m$ in diameter), which move to the apical portion of the cell to be secreted via glycocalyx. The A2-type cells are mainly found at the basal portion of the epithelium. The shape of its nucleus is similar to that in the A1-type cell, and the cytoplasm, filiform or in reticular form, shows high electron density. The B-type cell contains an ovoid nucleus and the cytoplasm where lots of vacuoles which resemble the endoplasmic reticulum and electron-dense round granules of various sizes $(0.25\sim0.6{\mu}m)$ are found. The vacuoles and granules are secreted into the free surface via glycocalyx. The C- and D-type cells in simple or stratified layer are observed at the folded portion of the sucker's epithelium. The C-type cell contains a low electron-dense elliptical nucleus, while the D-type cell has an irregular nucleus where beterochromatin is well developed.

Building Matching Analysis and New Building Update for the Integrated Use of the Digital Map and the Road Name Address Map (수치지도와 도로명주소지도의 통합 활용을 위한 건물 매칭 분석과 신규 건물 갱신)

  • The importance of fusion and association using established spatial information has increased gradually with the production and supply of various spatial data by public institutions. The generation of necessary spatial information without field investigation and additional surveying can reduce time, labor, and financial costs. However, the study of the integration of the newly introduced road name address map with the digital map is very insufficient. Even though the use of the road name address map is encouraged for public works related to spatial information, the digital map is still widely used because it is the national basic map. Therefore, in this study, building matching and update were performed to associate the digital map with the road name address map. After geometric calibration using the block-based ICP (Iterative Closest Point) method, multi-scale corresponding pair searching with hierarchical clustering was applied to detect the multi-type match. The accuracy assessment showed that the proposed method is more than 95% accurate and the matched building layer of the two maps is useful for the integrated application and fusion. In addition, the use of the road name address map, which carries the latest and most frequently renewed data, enables cost-effective updating of new buildings.

A Study of Photoelectrolysis of Water by Use of Titanium Oxide Films (산화티타늄 피막의 광 전기분해 특성에 관한 연구)

  • For the development of semiconducting photoelectrode to be more stable and efficient in the process of photoelectrolysis of the water, pure titanium rods were oxidized by anodic oxidation, furance oxidation and flame oxidation and used as electrodes. The Indium islands were formed by electrodeposition of "In" thin film on $TiO_2$ and Ti by electrodeposition. Also $A1_2O_3$ and NiO islands were coated on Ti by the electron-beam evaporation technique. The maximum photoelectrochemical conversion efficiency(${\eta}$) was 0.98% for flame oxidized electrode($1200^{\circ}C$ for 2min in air). Anodically oxidized electrodes have photoelectrochemical conversion efficiency of 0.14%. Furnace oxidized electrode($800^{\circ}C$ for 10min in air) has 0.57% of photoelectrochemical efficiency and shows a band-gap energy of about 2.9eV. The $In_2O_3$ coated $TiO_2$ exhibits 0.8% of photoelectrochemical efficiency but much higher value of ${\eta}$ was obtained with the Increase of applied blas voltage. However, $Al_2O_3$ or NiO coated $TiO_2$ shows much low value of ${\eta}$. The efficiency was dependent on the presence of the metallic interstitial compound $TiO_{0+x}$(x<0.33) at the metal-semiconductor interface and the thickness of the suboxide layer and the external rutile scale.
