A Study on Experiment Scenarios for Floor Noise Epicenter Recognition Systems (층간소음 진원지 인지 시스템을 위한 실험 시나리오에 관한 연구)

  • Currently, the occurrence of floor noise in Korea is gradually increasing, and for this reason, the problem of secondary conflict is also increasing. Various studies have been conducted to solve these problems, but the definition of floor noise is not clear, and data of floor noise in various situations cannot be obtained. Therefore, this paper defines various scenarios of floor noise for floor noise epicenter recognition system. For this, the experimental scenario is defined in consideration of environment required for the experiment, the type of floor noise generated in real life, the location of the collector, and the noise intensity. It is possible to increase the accuracy of the floor noise epicenter recognition system when performing data collection and learning operations based on the defined experimental scenario.

  • 본 연구에서는 인천광역시의 37개 사업장(공장)을 대상으로 작업현장의 소음을 측정 및 분석하여 소음이 화재경보음 인지에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 측정결과 평균소음이 95.8dB(A)나왔다. 이는 국내 경보장치 음량기준(화재경보음 발생장치에서 1m떨어진 곳에서 90dB이상)보다 5.8dB(A)높게 나왔다. 미국방화협회(NFPA)에 따르면 암소음(기기음)이 85dB(A)이거나 이상일 경우 화재경보음 인지정도가 미흡하기 때문에 다른 방법을 강구하도록 되어 있다. 또한 화재경보음은 암소음보다 15dB(A) 높아야 한다고 하고 있다. 따라서 주변의 환경을 무시한 획일적인 화재경보음 설계에 대해서 제도적 및 법적 개선이 필요하다고 사료된다.

  • Three noise sources are come from note PC system; HDD, System Cooling Fan and ODD. Except HDD, user can accept as an acceptable operating noise. System Fan needs to cooling down the CPU and Chipset and ODD only works when it need to work, therefore user thinks these two noise sources are necessary. For the HDD, some times it makes noise without user HDD access action such as re-organizing cache and defragmentation, user can hardly accept this noise. At the circumstance like as library and the room at the dawn, user can recognize the noise easily so that makes dissatisfaction. I'm studying algorithm and method to reduce HDD noise for user satisfaction.

  • 본 논문에서는 시간 지연이 없는 서브밴드 필터 구조를 사용한 능동 소음 제어 시 스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템은 기준 입력 신호와 2차 경로의 전달 함수를 컨볼루션하 여 만들어지는 filtered reference 신호가 서브밴드내에서 생성될 수 있도록, 2차 소음원과 오차 센서 사이의 전기·음향학적인 경로를 나타내는 2차 전달 함수를 각 서브밴드로 재구 성함으로써, 알고리듬 구현시 계산량을 감소시킨다. 또한 2차 경로의 전달함수가 시간에 따 라 변화하는 경우에도 능동 소음 제어 시스템의 소음 제어 성능을 유지할 수 있도록, 각 밴 드마다 두 개의 적응필터를 사용한 on-line 시스템 인지 구조를 제안하여 on-line 시스템 인 지에 필요한 계산량을 감소시켰다. 본 논문에서 제시한 능동 소음 제어 시스템의 제어 성능 과 on-line 시스템 인지 성능을 모의 실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

  • This paper described the Performance test and sound characteristics of helicopter 'Tail-Fan' anti-torque system. In this research, Korea Aerospace Research Institute(KARI) developed 'Tail-Fan' anti-torque system for a helicopter and carried out performance and sound capturing tests of even and uneven tail fans. The performance test is carried out and the noise signals which are generated during the test are saved with microphones at the same time. The performance test's results meet the design requirements. Tone-corrected perceived noise level is reduced by replacing the even product with the uneven one.

  • 본 논문에서는 선택적 노이즈 캔슬링을 위한 환경 인지 기술을 제안한다. 기존의 노이즈 캔슬링은 모든 소리를 구분 없이 차단하여 여러 가지 문제를 유발할 수 있으며 공통된 노이즈 캔슬링 동작으로 각 소음에 최적화된 성능을 보장할 수 없다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 제안하는 방법은 대표적 오디오 특성인 멜-스펙트로그램과 스펙트로그램 기반의 시간적 특성 벡터를 사용하여 환경 인지를 진행한다. 본 논문에서는 attack, rotation, sawing으로 구성된 3가지 소음과 speech, tonal로 구성된 2가지 비 소음으로 총 5가지 클래스를 분류한다. 제안하는 방법에서 특성 벡터로 멜-스펙트로그램만을 사용했을 때 87.5%의 분류 성능을 보였으며, 스펙트로그램 기반의 시간적 특성을 추가했을 때 분류 성능이 91.2%로 향상되었다.

Changes of Acoustic Reflex Thresholds and Speech-In-Noise Perception Using Personal Listening Device Under Subway Interior Noise (지하철 실내 소음 하에서 음향기기 사용에 따른 음향반사역치와 소음 속 어음인지 변화)

  • Although it is well-known that environmental noise can lead to hearing loss in individuals, the true extent of subway noise effects in the general population remains poorly understood. The purpose of the present study is to see changes of acoustic reflex thresholds and speech perception scores when passengers listen to music presented from their personal listening device in the subway. Forty subjects with normal hearing participated being divided into two groups, experimental and control groups. As a baseline, all subjects were measured by acoustic reflex thresholds in five test frequencies and Korean speech perception in noise (KSPIN) test at 0 and -5 dB SNR. In the experiment, the control group read newspaper or magazine in the subway noise, whereas the experimental group listened to music presented from their smartphone under the subway noise through speakers at 73.45 dBA for 60 min. After completing the experiment, two groups also conducted both acoustic reflex thresholds and KSPIN tests in the same condition as the baseline. The results showed that there was a significant difference of correct percent in speech-in-noise test between experimental and control groups and of that between two signal-to-noise ratios, which means the double noise exposure of 60 min might cause some degradation of speech perception when noise increases compared to only subway noise condition that was not statistically significant difference. We concluded that a risk of some degraded speech perception ability would be expected when passengers have a habit of listening to music in the subway noisy situation for a long duration.

The Auditory and Visual Information Impacts on the Traffic Noise Perception by the using Electroencephalogram (뇌파 측정에 의한 친환경 시.청각 정보의 교통소음 인지도 영향 평가)

  • In this study, the influences of environmentally friendly visual and auditory information on traffic noise perception were surveyed by the using electroencephalogram Green rural region image and CBD image in urban city were used as visual informations. And traffic noise, signal and environmental music were used to detect the impact on electroencephalogram variance. It was revealed that green rural region image caused a-wave ratio increase about 10% and environmental music increased $\alpha$-wave ratio approximately $40{\sim}50%$. The results of this study improved that environmentally friendly visual and auditory information had an effect on decreasing traffic noise loudness to some extents.
