A new automatic diagnostic system for predicting multiple defects in rolling element bearings is developed by taking probbability into account. A database is constructed from the frequency characteristics of tested bearings with various types of defects. The proposed algorithms for the automatic diagnosis of bearing defects are shown to be satisfactory through the experiments. This method can be effectively used for quality control of the rolling bearing in plants.

원자력발전소의 안전성 확보를 위해서, 설비의 유지 관리 기법은 고장이 발생했을 때 조치하는 고장정비에서부터 고장을 미연에 방지하기 위한 예방정비, 예측정비 그리고 상태기반정비로 진행되어 가고 있다. 국내 원자력발전소에서는 고장정비와 예방 정비가 적용되고 있으며, 예측정비와 상태기반정비에 대한 연구가 수행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모터구동밸브, 공기구동밸브, 역지밸브 그리고 펌프에 대한 예방정비 현황과 기술 개발 동향에 대해 살펴보았다.

PC용 VMS의 한계점을 극복하기 위해 UNIX-ARC/INFO를 사용하여 WORKSTATION에서 구동되는 UNIX용 VMS를 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 개발된 VMS의 적용가능성을 판단하기 위해 서울시를 대상으로 VMS시스템을 구현하였으며, 일부지역에서는 지하철운행시의 지반진동전파 예측을 하여 실측치와 비교를 통해 그 사용성을 평가하였다.

철도소음지도는 환경부 고시 소음 진동관리법에 따라서 그 작성방법이 고시되어 있고, 소음지도 작성 시에 철도소음원 관련 영향인자에 대하여 적용 예측식 별 열차구분을 제시하고 있으며, 열차 특성 입력 시에 브레이크 흡음율을 "0"으로 설정할 것을 제시한다. 소음지도 작성방법이 고시 된 이후 국내의 고속철도차량은 그 구조가 변경되어 가고 있고, 고시된 작성방법에서 제시되지 않은 신규 열차유형도 생겨나고 있다. 따라서 현재의 시점에서 국외의 철도소음 예측식을 활용하여 고시된 소음지도 작성방법에 의하여 철도소음을 예측하는 경우 열차의 유형과 관련된 입력인자에 따른 예측결과를 검토할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 철도소음을 예측할 시에 국내에서 통상적으로 가장 빈번히 사용되는 Schall03을 활용하여 철도소음을 예측하였으며, 열차의 유형 선택, 열차의 특성 중 디스크브레이크 사용율 입력, 레일의 이음매 여부에 의한 예측결과에의 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 2013년 이후 추가된 신규 국내의 열차에 대하여 대응하는 국외 열차의 유형을 검토하였고, 디스크브레이크사용율 설정은 실측값과 예측값의 차이에 적지 않은 비중을 차지함을 파악할 수 있었으며, 이뿐 아니라, 레일표면의 조도(roughness)레벨 수준도 함께 고찰하고자 하였다. 또한 레일의 이음매가 존재하는 구간에 대하여 예측 시에 이를 고려하지 않았을 경우에의 실측값과의 차이에 대한 분석을 수행하였다.

During last 30 years, Korea economy has grown so fast and many leading-edge technologies ware introduced from the advanced countries. but this fast growth inevitably produced imperfect completion of infrastructures and caused man-made catastrophes like Sungsu Bridge and Sampoong Department Store. After the incidents, Korea Government and National Assembly established "The Special Law for Safety Maintenance of Infrastructures". According to this law, most of infrastructures must be inspected periodically. During last 10 years after the establishment of the law, many infrastructures were improved and the quality of construction was upgraded. However, important and weak-to-disaster infrastructures need to be watched continuously. Many monitoring technologies were developed and tested in the field. In this paper, the new research project "Establishment of Testbed of Safety Management Network for Main Infrastructures", funded by government, was introduced.

But. a maintenance management of noise barrier is not systematic. and the guideline of that is not prepared for maintenance manual. The situations of existed installation and management of noise barriers Installed at 3.619 positions were investigated by questionnarie and direct field survey. And comparisons with foreign management guideline of noise harrier were carried out. The results show that the improvement methods of maintenance management system such as practical checklist and required Items for management of noise barrier were suggested.

국내 에너지의 장기적인 수요상황을 볼 때 원자력 발전의 비중이 확대되는 것은 불가피 하므로 환경 친화적인 사용 후 핵연료의 관리 및 고준위 폐기물의 처분방안의 마련은 원자력의 개발만큼이나 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 방사성 폐기물의 효율적인 관리와 저장 및 열제거를 위하여 최적 환기시스템을 적용한 처분장 설계를 목적으로 여러 환기시스템 설계안을 비교 분석하였다. 분석결과, 8가지 중 case 4(병렬회로)와 case 6(혼합 Diagonal 회로)의 환기효율이 우수한 결과를 나타냈으며, 이와 같은 연구를 통해 환경 친화적인 처분장의 건설이 가능할 것이다.

계절이 여름의 한가운데로 성큼 접어들었다. 무더운 여름에는 뭐니뭐니해도 시원한 팥빙수가 최고다. 요즘 제과점마다 제 맛 살린 빙수 마련에 분주하다. 팥빙수에서 가장 중요한 것은 솜사탕처럼 보송보송 부드러운 얼음. 빙삭기를 살 때는 얼음 말고도 소음과 관리 편의성 등 따져볼 게 많다.
