Development of a Modal Parameter Estimation Method Using Optimization Techniques (최적화기법을 이용한 모드매개변수 추정방법의 개발)

  • 본 논문에서는 최적화기법을 이용하여 모드매개변수를 추정하는 방법을 개발하였다. 최적화기법중 steepest descent method와 Fletcher-Powell method를 1자유도계의 시뮬레이션 데이터에 사용하여 Fletcher-Powell method가 초기값이나 계의 감쇠비에 관계없이 항상 정확한 모드매개변수를 추정함을 밝혀 내었다. 2자유도계의 시뮬레이션 데이터에 적용하였을 때도 본 방법은 정확한 모드매개변수를 추정하였다. 본 방법은 기존의 모드해석방법처럼 실제모드수보다 많은 모드수를 가정할 필요가 없고, 밀집한 모드를 분리하는 능력도 우수하였다. 본 방법을 실험 데이터에 적용하였을 때에도 만족할만한 결과를 나타내었다.

  • The reverberation characteristics of the Korean Traditional buildings aren't well-known, but there could be many particular properties. In this study, we compare the reverberation characteristics of a Korean traditional building of a temple, ‘Magoksa’, with three modern buildings. We use 5 parameters which have been widely studied in architectural acoustics such as reverberation time, early decay time, clarity, initial-time delay gap and R/D ratio.

  • The flexural vibration of laminated composite beams with active and passive constrained-layer damping has been investigated to design structure with maximum possible damping capacity. The equations of motion are derived for flexural vibrations of symmetrical, multi-layer laminated beams. The damping ratio and modal damping of the first bending mode are calculated by means of iterative complex eigensolution method. This paper addresses a design strategy of laminated composite under flexural vibrations with active control.

  • 풍력발전기의 공기역학적 비선형성은 풍력발전기 전체 시스템의 동적특성에 영향을 미친다. 풍력발전기의 드라이버-트레인의 감쇠가 매우 작으므로 풍력발전기를 제어함에 있어 드라이버-트레인의 동적특성은 중요하게 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 풍속에 따른 공기역학적 비선형성이 드라이버-트레인의 동적특성에 미치는 영향을 해석적으로 살펴보고자 한다.

A Study on Sound Attenuation of Plant Noise by Enclosure (방음실에 의한 공장설비 소음의 감쇠 효과에 관한 연구)

  • The considerations in the noise control by enclosure are the rise of temperature and sound pressure, transmission loss, absorption coefficient of the materials, the structure of the soundproof panels, an opening and coincidence frequency. But it is very difficult that we obtain the accurate data about those in design, so, the noise reduction after enclosing does not correspond with the calculation. The difference of the noise reduction between the calculation and the measurement was 8.2dBA, and we can obtain the approximate result as the following formula which correct 10dBA, safely.

  • 본 연구는 비압축성 유동에 노출되어 있는 2-D wing-flap 시스템의 공탄성 응답의 능동제어를 다루고 있다. 본 연구 논문의 목표는 LQG 제어법칙을 수행함으로써 임계 비행속도하에서 플러터의 비안정성을 억제하고 돌풍이나 blast load에 의한 임계 공탄성 응답의 성능을 향상시키는 것과 동적응답을 감쇠하는 수행능력들을 증명하는데 있다.

  • In the mechanical systems with large damping, the conventional SDM method developed for no damping systems will lead to an error solution. Here, we introduce a SDM method based on the experimental modal model for large damping systems. The sensitivities of natural frequencies and mode shapes with respect to mass, damping, and stiffness coefficients of structures are used to calculate the position and quantity of modification, and predict the new dynamic characteristics. Through numerical simulation and experiment, the effectiveness of the proposed method is tested.

  • A torsional damper is generally used to reduce the torsional vibration which occurs at a crankshaft of a multi-cylinder high speed diesel engine. Vibration amplitude should be estimate by the appropriate simulation model to determine the optimum specifications of damper. In this paper a new method which was based on the random tabu search method(RTSM) would be introduced for the viscous damper design to optimize the damping performance. The result was ascertained by comparing with conventional rubber damper.

  • Recently, the application of viscoelastic material in the field of vibration isolation has gradually increased due to its achievement in structural damping capacity, and many of the theoretical and experimental study has been carried out. In this study, the dynamic characteristics of the visoelastically supported cantilever beam, of which govering equation is based on the Bernoulli- Euler equation, is analyzed theoretically and experimentally. Expression for stiffness of multi-layered viscoelastic materal has been developed using variables such as frequency and number of layers, and further, based on this expression, damping characteristic of the beam is investigated with experimental verification.
