  • 생활수준의 향상 및 소비자들의 건강에 대한 관심의 증가로 인해 자신의 건강에 대해서 스스로 결정하고자 하는 요구가 점차 증가하고 있다. IT와 의료기술의 발달은 이를 가능하게 하였으며 각종 의료정보를 기반으로 하는 질병진단에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국민건강정보 기반 진료과목 예측에 대한 연구를 진행하여 소비자 스스로 진료과목을 선택하는데 도움을 주고자 한다.

The Effects of a Mobile Personal Health Records (PHR) Application on Consumer Health Behavior (모바일 개인건강기록(Personal Health Records: PHR) 어플리케이션의 이용이 소비자 건강행태에 미치는 영향)

  • The present study aimed at investigating the strengths and weaknesses of a mobile personal health record (PHR) application and identifying its impacts on consumer health information behavior. For the study, twenty-seven college students used a PHR application for three months, based on which the study conducted paper-based interviews with them. The results of content analysis highlighted the benefits of the PHR such as supporting preventive healthcare and motivating and providing specific guidelines for healthy lifestyles by utilizing visual interface design, sharing the data with family and assisting caregivers to manage patients' healthcare, and above all enhancing the interaction between patients and healthcare professionals. However, the study found the drawbacks of the PHR such as a lack of data entry for strength training and the incompatibility with other healthcare applications. The participants were motivated to change their health behaviors in ways such as getting rid of sleep disorders, avoiding alcohol and smoking tobacco, and losing weight, and changing eating habits. Some consumers improved self-efficacy by changing their health behaviors, while the PHR provided emotional supports to the consumers who wanted to improve their health. The present study has an academic significance because the study of PHR is a burgeoning area in Korea. The study provides insights for promoting health and medical information services to cope with the paradigm shift of healthcare fields.

  • 본 논문은 헬스케어 서비스에 대한 소비자 인식의 변화에 따라 최근 대두되고 있는 웰니스 서비스에 관한 연구이다. 현재 많은 소비자들이 여러 가지의 홈 헬스케어 개인건강기기를 통해 자신의 건강을 관리하고 있지만 제조사 별 고유의 소프트웨어와 통신 프로토콜을 내장되어있어 개인건강기기마다 각기 다른 방식의 서비스가 제공되고 있다. 이처럼 현재 제공되고 있는 헬스케어 서비스를 보다 효율적으로 제공하기 위해서는 다양한 개인건강기기와 서비스 제공 시스템간의 표준화된 인터페이스를 지원하기 위해서는 통합 게이트웨이 솔루션이 필요하다. 특히, 각 시스템 구성요소 간에 IEEE11073 PHD(Pelsonal Health Devices), HL7(Health Level Seven) 등의 표준을 통하여 건강정보 데이터 센싱, 취합 및 전송, 분석 및 피드백이 표준적인 방법으로 운용되어야한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 스마트 TV 환경에서 ISO/IEEE11073 표준을 준용하여 다양한 통신 인터페이스를 통한 개인건강기기의 연결성을 지원하는 통합 게이트웨이 솔루션 및 헬스케어, 건강관리와 관련된 서비스를 위한 건강정보 모니터링 앱을 설계하였다.

  • 오늘날 의료는 정보통신 기술의 발달과 소비자의 건강에 대한 관심 고조 등을 동인으로 하여 기존의 환자가 치료 목적으로 병원을 찾아가던 환경에서 개인의 질병 예방과 건강 증진을 위해 언제 어디서나 의료서비스가 찾아가는 소위 u-Health 환경으로 패러다임이 전환되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 환경에 대처하는 보건의료 관련 법제에 대한 연구로 현행법률과 현재 계류 중인 법안을 고찰하여 가장 민감한 개인정보인 건강정보의 보호와 활용의 균형을 위한 입법 방향을 제시하였다.

The Effect of Perceived Risks on the Consumer Satisfaction in the Use of Cellular Phone (소비자 위험인지가 소비자 만족도에 미치는 영향 -이동전화 사용을 중심으로-)

  • This study aimed to investigate the extent of risks perceived by consumers in terms of health and economy while using cellular phone services. In addition, it also examined the factors influencing the level of risks and their effects on the level of satisfaction after using it. Major findings were as follows. First, the level of perceived risks were higher for married consumers. Consumers with high income felt economic risks lowly. Second, perceived economic risks influenced the level of satisfaction after using cellular phone, but not perceived health risks. Third, overall, consumers who rely on objective information source, possess high credibility on their cellular phone service companies, and own high level of knowledge how to properly use those phones, were more satisfied after using it.

The Effect of the 'Silver Consumer's Product Satisfaction and Knowledge on the Health Functional Consumer's Well-being (실버소비자의 건강기능 제품에 대한 만족과 지식이 웰빙에 미치는 영향)

  • On 1 July 2000, as the over-65 year-old population numbered 3,371,000 and accounted for over 7.1% of Korea's total population, an aging society was revealed. The over-65 percentage climbed to 11.0% by late 2010. A truly aged society is expected soon, by 2019. This aging society requires marketing research concerning the consumer behaviour and well-being of the elderly, because the 'silver generation' is emerging as a large part of the consumer market. The purpose of this study is to empirically analyse one effect among several satisfaction factors in the consuming cycle of various health functional products on consumer's well-being and the effect of product knowledge on the relationship between product satisfaction and well-being. To achieve this purpose, we established a research model after reviewing previous studies on product satisfaction, product knowledge, and consumer's well-being. The following hypotheses were developed from the research model. Hypothesis 1: When elderly consumers' satisfaction with health functional products increases, their well-being will increase. Hypothesis 2: The effect of their satisfaction with health functional products on their well-being will be strengthened according to the level of their knowledge of the products. Those hypotheses were tested by multiple and moderated regressions to the empirical data through a questionnaire survey. As a result, Hypothesis 1 was totally adopted, and Hypothesis 2 was only partially adopted. The study has many practical implications for well-being marketing. First, in order to heighten the elderly consumer's well-being, the level of his or her satisfaction with the health functional products has to be raised in every stage: during the acquisition, preparation, use, maintenance, and disposition of the consumption cycle. Moreover, promoting positive emotional experiences while diminishing negative ones requires effort because a consumer's well-being is made up of various needs. Second, the marketing of health functional products should be invigorated in order to raise the level of elderly consumers' knowledge of them. In other words, it is important to give them an expertise in the health functional products through different channels. A statistical analysis showed, however, that their knowledge has a decisive effect on only two satisfaction stages, preparation and maintenance. Nevertheless, this merely confirmed the intuitive assumption that the knowledge of health functional products is most relevant to their preparation and maintenance. In conclusion, this study is timely because few empirical studies exist on the relationships between silver consumer behaviour and well-being marketing. It contributes to our understanding of this subject by revealing the causality between the silver consumer's satisfaction and his or her well-being in the consumption cycle and by discovering the moderating influence of knowledge in that process.

  • '닭·오리·계란 이력제'가 지난 1월 1일 시행됐다. 닭·오리·계란 이력제는 생산단계부터 소비자 판매에 이르는 각 단계별 정보를 기록·관리해 국민 건강에 위해를 줄 수 있는 문제 발생시 방역의 효율성을 높여 신속한 이력추적과 회수를 가능하게 한다. 또한 소비자에게는 농장에서 식탁에 이르는 정보를 제공, 가금산물에 대한 소비자의 신뢰를 높이는데 기여하는 제도이다. 장승진 축산물품질평가원장으로부터 닭·오리·계란 이력제 준수사항, 효과 등을 자세히 들어봤다.

A Critical Analysis of Literature for Consumer Health Information Services in Public Libraries (문헌분석을 통해서 도출한 공공도서관 소비자건강정보(CHI) 서비스 연구)

  • Due to the growth of people's use of the Internet as well as interests in health, people's needs of health information have rapidly increased in public libraries. Nevertheless, there are few studies in Korea about users' needs for health information and services that public libraries can offer to support these user groups. In the current study, a comprehensive literature review was conducted in order to understand the role of public libraries and librarians in serving users with health information and to identify the types of consumer health information(CHI) services available to users in public libraries. As for the CHI services that public libraries can offer for users, the current study emphasizes and discusses the directions and guidelines for improving the following six approaches: 1) CHI collection and information resource building, 2) CHI reference services, 3) CHI user education and training program development, 4) CHI services for minority/disability/cultural diversity groups of users, 5) CHI outreach program development, and 6) CHI network development with medical libraries, academic libraries, hospital, and medical institutions and associations. Although most of the discussion in the current study centers on cases and services provided in the United States or other countries, findings would be used to inform the importance of CHI services in public libraries, and to design and develop CHI services in Korea.

꿀의 기능화와 생산방법

  • 기능성 꿀 및 그 생산에 대하여 관심이 있다면 우선 벌과 꽃과 꿀의 등식관계(벌=꽃=꿀)를 이해하고 벌꿀의 이용역사를 고찰하여 향후 이용 변화추위에 따라 소비자을이 선호하는 꿀을 생산하여야 할 것으로 본다. 인간에 대한 의학이 발달은 꿀에 대한 소비자들의 인식을 변화시키고 있으며, 건강 증진 및 장수를 위한 well-being 생활의 추구에 따라 식생활도 변화하고 있기 때문에 꿀에 대한 재평가가 요구되고 있다. 따라서 수명과 관련하여 건강증진에 유익한 기능성 꿀 생산은 매우 적절한 대응전력이라고 생각한다. 기능성 꿀벌 생산하려면 꿀에 대한 성분과 특성을 이해하고 기능성물질의 탐색과 더불어 벌을 통한 생산방법을 개발하여 가치 있는 기능성 꿀을 생산하여야 함으로 기능성 꿀 및 생산에 관한 정보를 제공하고자 한다.
