  • 소방공무원은 가장 위험한 직업중 하나로 과로사부터 훈련이나 화재진압 현장에서의 사망에 이르기까지 생명의 위험에 노출되어 있다. 이러한 위험성은 소방공무원을 기타 다른 분야의 공무원들과 근본적으로 차이를 가지게 하는 특성으로 작용한다. 소방공무원을 둘러싼 위험을 유발하는 요소들은 치명적 사고로 이어질 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 스트레스를 증가시키고 있다. 위험 유발 요소들은 제도적 요인, 문화적 요인, 그리고 개인적 경험으로 분류될 수 있고 다시 하위 항목으로 나뉠 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 소방공무원과 관련한 위험유발요인들이 스트레스라는 매개변수를 통해 소방공무원들의 조직몰입에 주는 영향을 고찰하였다.

  • A primary task of fire department is maintaining public safety, system maintenance and welfare improvement by protecting life, body and property of a people through prevent and extinguish of the fire in emergency. Rescue part of those affairs has supported by the people but affairs related to the fire examination and investigation could not get it. Although fire examination is a very important part of fire department administration, it has been understood indifferently due to lack of awareness and concern. There are no scientific fire examination because of lacking education study and the whole responsibility capacity about it. There are many things have to be improved at fire examination and investigation system in Korea. Especially, establishment of the whole responsibility post is urgent through assuring professionals to improve accuracy of fire examination and investigation. Equipment which can do scientific fire examination and investigation have to be fully furnished. Efficiency of fire examination and investigation has to be increased through improving law related to fire examination and investigation, giving rescuers investigation right. Through this, it systematically have to be good for fire prevent.

A Study on the Awareness of Firefighters on the Introduction of Drones and the Operation and Application of drones - Focusing on the Firefighters of Jeollanam-do (소방드론 도입에 따른 소방공무원의 인식과 드론의 운용 및 활용에 대한 연구 - 전라남도 소방공무원을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to present a method for the application of drones through analysis after surveying Jeollanam-do firefighters regarding the recognition, operation, field of application, necessary field of work, and the need for education on fire drones. As a result of the survey, 80.29% of respondents were found to be willing to operate drones, and the fields of work for which drones were considered the most necessary were in the order of rescue, fire suppression, life safety, first aid, and others. Besides, 77.38% of respondents thought that drones could contribute to the prevention of safety accidents for firefighters, and 70.13% of respondents thought that it would be appropriate to recruit firefighting drone operators through changing positions, and respondents chose firefighters in their 40s as the most suitable age group for firefighting drone operation. Also, 82.84% of respondents said they would participate in drone training, and they recognized that the use of drones could contribute to solving the physical problems caused by the aging of firefighters, and that drone training would also help firefighters manage their retirement. The fields where firefighting drones are used were investigated in the order of searching for requestors, checking on-site information, and checking on-site prior risk. In this study, a difference analysis for each group was performed according to the drone operation experience. There was a statistically significant difference in the items of safety measures for requestors. The results of variance analysis by work experience confirmed that there were statistically significant differences in a total of eight items, including four items related to the field of use of drones, and the age group of the drone operating crew, and whether or not to help retirement management.

  • 최근 산업고도화에 따라 경쟁력의 원천이 노동, 자본에서 기술 및 정보로 전환 되어져 기술의 중요성이 부각되어 지고 있고, 도시화로 인한 소방산업의 경제 기대효과가 증대되고 있다. 따라서 국내 소방산업을 고부가가치 산업으로 집중 육성하기 위해서 관련산업 분야의 각 요소 간 네트워킹 즉 연계 협력강화 구축에 의해 생산적인 산업육성 시스템이 구축되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 소방산업의 타 산업과의 비교를 통한 네트워킹 구축의 필요성과 네트워킹 구축을 통한 소방산업 육성 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • To foster fire investigation professionals and expand career opportunities for graduates of fire science majors, it is extremely important to expand and reorganize courses which are related to fire investigation. Only 30 percent of universities have fire investigation related courses, and the courses only offer theoretical materials. As a result, it has a great limitation to teach essential knowledge which is required at a fire scene. This study suggests to classify fire investigation-related-courses in to fire investigation course and fire identification course. In addition, the study proposes ways to standardize curricula which enables students to acquire Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI).

  • Simulators were introduced in education as a tool to make advanced training standardized, less expensive, and without danger to those involved. In 1922 in the Unites States, Edward Link presented his homemade flight simulator, which became common place in both military and civilian aviation, known as the "Link Trainer". The development of mannequin simulators used for medical simulation education, training, and research is reviewed, tracing the motivations, evolution to commercial availability, and efforts toward assessment of efficacy of those for teaching cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) for medical personnel and emergency medical technicians(EMT), cardiology skills, anaesthesia clinical skills, and crisis management. This study will provide a brief overview of simulators and trainers in several domains.

Study on Firefighting Education and Training Applying Virtual Reality (가상현실을 적용한 소방교육·훈련에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify VR programs according to their characteristics and associations by the disaster management phase and firefighting school curriculum, and set priorities among VR fire training and training programs using AHP analysis., The relative priority is given considering its importance and urgency. As a result of the study, firefighting education and training classes showed the highest level of response. The relative priority of the subcategories was highest in the prevention stage. The simulation implementation for the evacuation experience was highest in closed spaces, such as a subway, and the simulation for the special firefighting vehicle was highest in the contrast phase. In the response phase, real fire simulation training was the highest. In the recovery phase, virtual reality training was the most effective in determining the fire situation based on the fire database.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate national fire safety consciousness (FSC). A FSC survey would help with proper fire safety policy. Indicators to define and measure efficiently the FSC were broken down into five areas: prevention, alarm, evacuation, extinguishing, and damage expansion prevention. The indicators were developed using Parasuraman's method based on domestic and foreign research materials and meetings with experts. FSC was surveyed using the indicators on Gallup Korea. The results of the survey analysis show that evacuation is lowest, followed by extinguishing, alarm, prevention, and damage expansion prevention.

  • This study examined the efficient management of a fire protection system using spatial information, and basic data for the development of related firefighting industry were obtained. To overcome the problems of malfunction and management failure, which are the major issues of fire protection system management, this study analyzed the related laws and regulations on building spatial information of a fire protection system to introduce spatial information to the fire protection system field. For efficient management of the fire protection system, it is necessary to revise the related laws of the fire protection system, such as protection system-related laws including space information technology, and maintain the standardization, effectiveness, and consistency of fire protection system spatial information.
