FPGA Implementation of Resolver-based Absolute Position Sensor Driver (레졸버 기반의 절대위치 검출 센서 드라이버의 FPGA 구현)

  • Absolute position detector which is one of the major equipment in the field of factory automation, not only perceives the absolute position of the rotary machine but also outputs switch data according to the given angle. Absolute position detector is composed of sensor module and its controller. In this paper, a sensor driver is implemented using FPGA with VHDL. This chip has a less form factor than conventional circuit. A test shows reliable precision within THD(total harmonic distortion) of 0.2% which can be applicable commercially. Also, FPGA-based phase error compensation methods were newly discussed. In the future, more research will be conducted to enhance the precision by the introduction of 3-phase transformer.

  • 한국해양연구원에서 개발 중인 Crabster 로봇팔을 기구학적으로 분석하고, 속도기구학을 매트랩을 이용하여 작업공간에 대해서도 분석 및 해석을 완료하였다. 운용자와 Crabster 로봇팔의 움직임을 고려해 개념 설계한 인간팔 크기의 7축 마스터 암 및 그립퍼의 기구부에 대해 2D 및 3D의 도면을 완성하였고, 마스터 암에 적용할 모터의 사양과 각 관절에 피드백 된 힘을 반영하기 위한 구동 모터의 엔코더를 이용한 위치 센서, DSP2812를 이용한 제어 명령 입력 장치와 구동 모터 드라이버를 포함한 마스터 - 슬레이브 시스템의 개념 설계를 완성하였다.

  • 본 논문은 지식경제부 한국산업기술평가관리원의 LED시스템조명 기술개발사업(10042947, 멀티센서 기반의 데이터 통신모듈과 드라이버 IC/프로세서 제어부품 등을 탑재한 200cc 이하의 LED 시스템조명 기술개발) 연구사업의 일환으로 작성되었음. 세계 각국은 자국의 안정적인 에너지 공급과 저탄소 녹색성장을 위해 장 단기적인 정책을 다양하게 펼치고 있다. 그 중 고효율, 친환경 광원인 LED는 국가의 에너지 정책 추진의 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. LED 조명은 기존 백열등 형광등 할로겐을 대체 할뿐만 아니라 휴대전화, 자동차, BLU(Back Light Unit) 등 다양한 분야에 적용할 수 있기 때문에 시장잠재력이 크다. 본고에서는 미국, 유럽, 중국, 일본의 LED 조명산업 관련 정책을 살펴보고 정책적 시사점을 도출하고자 한다.

  • In industries such as automobiles and semiconductors, a lot of components are produced using PLCs based on an automatic production system. Therefore, an educational platform is needed to provide training in the use of PLCs in the industrial sites. Conventional educational systems, in which PLCs are employed to control sensors and actuators, have been continuously developed. However, these systems present their circuits only in 2D on the screen, which makes it difficult to understand them during the learning process. To overcome these disadvantages, we propose an educational V-Factory system capable of providing PLC training using virtual reality. In addition, thousands of sensors and actuators can be controlled by the V-Factory system through the proposed virtual I/O driver. The motion of the automatic production system can be visualized using virtual reality.

  • In this Paper, we present a new 3D viewing device based on field-sequential stereoscopic system. To extract signals for synchronization, common field-sequential stereoscopic system should insert extra equipment in the system(usually PC), or use internal signal of the system with software drivers. It causes several problems such as inconvenience, compatibility with hardware or OS, and reversed view of left and right image. In this paper, we propose new system that uses photo sensor sensing the light stimulus on the screen to extract synchronization and R/L distinction signals. This system will solve these problems and moreover it can operate in the internet or HDTV.

  • 모터드라이브, 무정전 전원장치(UPS), 용접기, 유도 가열시스템 등에 쓰이는 컨버터를 효율적으로 개발하는데 있어 신뢰성 높고 강인한 IGBT의 선택은 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. IGBT에는 다음과 같은 사항들이 핵심적으로 요구된다. 최신의 칩 기술의 이용으로 전력 손실(온 상태 손실 및 스위칭 손실)이 최적화되어야 한다. 컨버터 사이즈가 컴팩트해질 수 있도록 모듈 사이즈가 컴팩트해야 한다. 모듈 케이스 높이가 낮아 내부 분포 인덕턴스(stray inductance)가 작아야 한다. DC및 AC터미널들이 사용이 편리하여 인덕턴스가 낮게 DC링크 단을 배치 설계할 수 있어야 한다. 하프 브리지/쵸퍼/6팩 등과 같이 다양한 토폴로지(topology)의 모듈들이 갖추어져 있어야 한다. 모듈 상부에 간단하면서도 유연성 있는 드라이버 인터페이스가 갖추어져 있어야 한다. 기본적인 보호 기능을 위해 온도 센서가 내장되어 있어야 한다. 큰 출력 용량의 컨버터 설계를 위해 모듈의 병렬연결이 쉬워야 한다. A Study on the Control of Parallel-Type Inverted Pendulum by $H_\infty$ Control ($H_\infty$제어에 의한 병렬형 도립진자의 제어에 관한 연구)

  • In this pater, authors derive the state - space equiation about the patallel - type inverted pendulum which is adopted as control object, and constitute the control system by $H_\infty$control theory. The modeling error is unavoidably existed by linearization error, and so on. We regard this modeling error which is determined from the identification through frequency response as unstructured model uncertainty. An augmented state - space equiation with frequency weighting function is constructed for application of the $H_\infty$theory, and the mixed sensitivity problem is considered. The weighting functions are determined in consideration of the model uncertainty and the response of system in frequency region. The $H_\infty$controller is designed by using software package for controller design. From results of response simulation, the control system designed with $H_\infty$theory guarantees low sensitivity for disturbance as well as robustness against the model uncertainties.

  • As the pre-stage of making 3D stabilizing systems, at this paper designed 2D stabilizing system. This is composed of two axes stabilizing platform to preserve targeted direction while vehicle is moving. The system maintains stabilization by recovering error using the rate gyro with DSP TMS320F240 as controller, vibratory rate gyro (Tokimec co. TFG -l60D) as gyro scope, SD1015B52-1·SD1004C04-l/DM1015B DM1004C as direct drive driver/motor, PI control as control algorithm. This paper got a comparably good stabilization.

  • Core is the main component of inductor. This core should be classified into around 10 classes according to the value of inductance and Q. The coil should be winded with the outer-boundary of this core by different number of turns. Theses kind of precise inductors would be required in the future environment which PCs and communication devices demand more high speed and lower voltage level. It would be quite unefficient that only one core is classified once a time. There, it will be developed so that 10 cores are classified simultaneously. For the operation of classifying 10 cores once in a time, suppose 10 test instruments could be used. In this case, it would take much cost since a test instrument Is expensive. So, by using only one test instrument, it is really more desirable that this system is developed. Each core classified by 10 different classes is to be stored into the corresponding box through the corresponding rubber hose. 10 cores are passed on a serial line and are placed on each testing slot. Here, each core located at each slot is tested, and then the bowl located on the top of a step motor is moved into the corresponding spot by rotating step motor with some angles. Each bowl connected with the corresponding box through rubber hose. Actually 100 hoses are connected, 10 step motors are rotated at 10 different angles, so the size is really so big, the shape of connecting 100 hoses is so complicated. Therefore it is anticipated that the system would be going to be easily out of ordered. In this paper the main purpose is to make several suggestions to be able to work well in these kinds of being affected by the abnormal operation of motors and the flow of cores.

An Ontology System for Interworking between Block-type Industrial IoT Devices (블록형 Industrial IoT 디바이스 연동을 위한 온톨로지 시스템)

  • Recently, Industrial-IoT (IIoT) solutions accounted for up to 55% in 2016 and technological innovation and various new business models are being developed. In this paper, apply IIoT device in various environments and implement an ontology system that can interwork with block type IIoT device to easily add / change / delete sensor. The proposed system consists of IIoT device, block-type module, and ontology server. When the block-type module is connected to the IIoT device, the appropriate driver is installed and the firmware is downloaded through the ontology server. Even if a block is added / changed / deleted, it can be updated automatically. Through experiments, we confirmed that the normal operation of the server and the updating and downloading of software are implemented normally.
