This study aims to examine whether software education has effects on improving creative competency. To this end, the study designed software education lessons to strengthen creative competency for 15 weeks and developed assessment tools. Based on the designed lessons, the 15-week lessons were provided for university students, including a pre-test in the first week and a post-test in the 15th week. The result showed that there was a significant difference in the effects of the lessons, with the mean value of creative competency 0.31 point higher and p-value of 0.002 in the post-test than in the pre-test. The sub-factors of creative competency, including flexibility, originality, openness, and creative implementing skills showed significant differences with p-value all lower than 0.05.

Participation in official development assistance (ODA) construction projects can be proposed as a way to revitalize Korean small and medium-sized construction companies' entry into the overseas construction market. To this end, the necessary competency items were derived for the execution of the project, and a survey was conducted and an analysis of importance-current competency was performed. 24 out of a total of 32 competency items were analyzed as having a low level of competency compared to their importance, indicating that it is urgent to strengthen corporate-level capabilities for the smooth execution of related projects in the future. In detail, it is judged that it is necessary to seek to establish a preferential capacity-strengthening plan for contract management-related items such as the 'Construction-related fundamental laws, Contract management method, and International administration negotiation'.

The purpose of this study is to develop the competency model of specialized vocational school teachers as admission officers. Whereas professional admission officers deal with a variety of admission activities in universities, teachers are responsible for admission duties in specialized high schools in Korea. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the core competencies required for teachers responsible for admission duties in specialized high school settings. In order to develop a competency model, factor analysis was completed for the survey results of 191 teachers who teach in specialized vocational high schools in Seoul, Korea. For evaluating validity of the competency model, the responses from those who had high experiences in admission duties and the average teachers were compared. As a result, this study identified a total of 14 competencies in three competency areas. The competencies required for specialized high school teachers include responsibilities for admission officers, ethics for evaluators, communication skills, teamwork, understandings of admissions process for specialized vocational high school, developing evaluation criteria, generating interview questions, increasing interrater reliability, interview skills, simultaneous evaluation of interviewees, quantification of evaluation results, synthesis of evaluation results, and decision making skills.

This study attempted to analyze the trade in goods effect of the Korea-ASEAN FTA by using logistics performance index, which are evaluation indicators of logistics industry workers on the logistics environment and logistics system in international trade. The World Bank's logistics performance index are six indicators: customs clearance, logistics infra, ease of shipment, logistics services, goods tracking abilities, and on-time transportation. The purpose of this study was to examine how it affects commodity trade between Korea and ASEAN states using the gravity model using panel data. Through this, it was confirmed that logistics performance index affect the increase in commodity trade.

The purpose of this study is to design and develop the test standard to measure AI literacy abilities. First, we selected key areas of AI literacy through the related studies and expert FGI and designed detailed standard. The area of the test standard is divided into three categories: AI concept, practice, and impact. In order to confirm the validity of the test standard, we conducted twice expert validity tests and then modified and supplemented the test index. The final AI literacy test standard consisted of a total of 30 questions. The AI literacy test standard developed in this study can be an important tool for developing self-checklists or AI competency test questions for measuring AI literacy ability.

This research is based on core competency in order to provide diverse educational opportunities and to train compatible human resources according to industrial change. The research set up the core competency of university students according to document research and the importance of core competency of students, professors, faculty and parents. As a result, a total of 14 competencies were deducted by importance and validation from enrolled students, graduated students and professors. A total of 5 core competencies and 14 detailed competencies were deducted. Creativity, problem solving ability, self-directed overall problem solving abilities, expertise ability, data processing ability, technology application according to industry, consideration and serving character, community service, communicational ability, self-management, inter personal relationship, foreign language ability, global, leadership and competence were the 14 elements of this research. Based on the result of this study, it is necessary to improve the competence of university students by applying them to the curriculum development and operation and to find out the extent of the students competence enhancement through the development of future capacity measuring tools.

This paper aims at analyzing the effect of the relationship between innovation intermediaries and firms on firms' absorptive capacity from the perspectives of social capital. And it also analyzes how firms' innovation environment influences on their absorptive capacity in this process. For this purpose, we carry out an empirical analysis on 200 firms in the Daedeok Innopolis, which is the representative innovation cluster in Korea. According to this study, firm's absorptive capacity is positively affected by the reliability and frequency of firms' communication with innovation intermediaries. However, the geographic proximity does not have significant influence. Also, the innovation environmental factors play a positive moderating role in the absorptive capacity of firms, and the social factors have a distinct significant influence on it directly. Based on these findings, this paper would make a contribution to recognize the importance of innovation intermediaries in innovation process and their role as preceding factors to firms' absorptive capacity, as well as innovative environment in the innovation process.

This paper aims to develop and validate a situational judgement test to diagnose the Competencey of public ethics for undergraduates. A criterion group composing of high performers was formed. Critical incidents and responses were developed from interviews with members of the criterion group. Also an expert committee was composed of six university members who have professional knowledge and experience on Competencey based selection or education. This committee reviewed all the items developed and selected some of them for the final test. Item validity and reliability were examined through the final test that 519 college students took. The result of the confirmatory as well as exploratory factor analysis showed that the Competencey of public ethics consisted of 2 sub-elements which were work ethics and democratic citizenship. The correlation between results of the test and the HEXACO model was statistically significant. Overall, the findings of the study highlight that a situational judgement test can be developed and utilized to diagnose Competencey levels of public ethics for undergraduates.

The practical learning requires the new paradigm in its content of education and environment along with the rapid development of information communication technology and the expansion of digital content industry. Especially, the animation education, core area of digital content industry, has attempted to improve the content and method of education by focusing on creativity, convergence and practical education. However, education environment in the previous form of computer laboratory has not been reflected the characteristics of animation education. In the light of this, this research would suggests the effective education environment implemented animation job competency and the characteristics of animation production. Firstly, the problem of previous educational environment will be explored through looking at computer rooms of domestic Universities. The characteristics of animation production consisted of Pre-production, Main-production, Post-production and elements of animation job competency will be reviewed by focusing on three phases of production, Pre-production, Main-production and Post-production, and six particular jobs, concept art, modeling & texturing, animating, lighting, VFX and compositing. Secondly, 6 types of space adapted from space syntax, possibly explored the embedded meaning of the structure of space and environment, will be reviewed by focusing on integration, separation and interaction. Thirdly, based on the characteristics of animation production, the element of animation job competency, 6 types of space, analytical tools about animation project education will be deducted, and the case study regarding animation studio, Walt Disney studio, will be processed by focusing on its production environment and spatial composition by focusing on Pre-production, Main-production, Post-production. Fifthly, the effective spatial composition for animation project education will be explored based on the interpretation of literature reviews and case study. In regard to this, the research addresses the spatial composition reflected the characteristics of practical learning and job competency in animation education, which differs from the previous form of standardized education spaces.
