The medicating Effect of Senior Citizens' Sexual Desire-Coping Behavior on Sexual Attitude and Life Satisfaction (노인의 성태도와 삶의 만족도 관계에서 성 욕구 대처행동의 매개효과)

  • The objectives of this study were to understand sexual attitudes and coping behavior of elderly people and to examine the mediating effects of the sexual coping behavior on the sexual attitudes and life satisfaction in order to improve the quality of life of elderly people. The survey was conducted on 305 elderly people at home living. As a result, in relation to the sexual attitudes of elderly people, it was shown that the 'rational sexual attitude' was the highest and the 'liberal sexual attitude' was higher than the 'traditional sexual attitude' among the subordinate factors. This study showed that there was a significant correlation between the sexual attitude, sexual coping behavior and life satisfaction. Furthermore, it is shown that the sexual coping behavior significantly mediates the relation between the liberal sexual attitude and life satisfaction of elderly people at home.

The Relationship between Hasteful Behavior and Type A Behavior (서두름 행동과 A형 행동의 관계)

  • This study was focused on five factors of Hasteful behavior and conducted to examine characteristics of the factors with relationship between Hasteful behavior and type A behavior. 207 adults(18-59 aged) answered the Hasteful Behavior Questionnaire and Type A Behavior Questionnaire. 136 items in established type A behavior or type A personality scale were collected. 136 items were reduced to 6 factors and 29 items. The components of Type A Behavior consists of success striving, impatience, failure anxiety, job immersion, activity, quickness. The factor analysis of Hasteful Behavior resulted in five factors. This was consistent in priority research. Each factors of Hasteful Behavior and type A behavior showed positive correlation. Hasteful behavior under time pressure had positive relations with success striving, failure anxiety, job immersion, activity, and quickness. Hasteful behavior under uncomfortable or isolation had a relation with impatience. Hasteful behavior in bordem had positive relations success striving, activity and quickness. Hasteful behavior in expectation of rewards had positive relations with success striving, impatience, failure anxiety, and quickness.

자본시장심리지수와 금융투자자 휴리스틱에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 확장된 합리적 행동이론(ETRA)을 이용하여 주식투자 시 자본시장심리지수를 기반으로 한 어플리케이션의 선택행동에 영향을 끼치는 요인들과 투자자의 휴리스틱과의 관계를 알아보는데 있다. 연구자는 개별 투자자의 휴리스틱이 선택행동에 영향을 미칠 것으로 추정하고 대표성 휴리스틱, 가용성 휴리스틱, 감정 휴리스틱을 측정하여 선택행동에 영향을 미치는 매개변수로 분석을 하였다. 연구모델의 경로계수 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 독립변수인 투자기회확장 그리고 매개변수인 휴리스틱 중 대표성 휴리스틱이 행동의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 행동의도가 종속변수인 선택행동에 영향을 미치고 매개변수인 가용성 휴리스틱이 선택행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구모형에서 대표성 휴리스틱에 영향을 주는 독립변수는 혁신적 성향, 투자기회확장, 사용비용, 그리고 인지된 효익이며 반면에 가용성 휴리스틱에 영향을 주는 독립변수는 혁신적 성향과 투자기회확장으로 밝혀졌다. 매개효과 검증결과에 의하면 서비스다양성은 선택행동에 영향을 미치는데 휴리스틱의 매개효과가 없고 직접효과만 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 반면에 투자기회확장은 선택행동에 미치는 직접효과는 통계적으로 유의하지 않고 매개변수 휴리스틱의 간접효과 값이 0.217이고 통계적으로 유의하여 매개효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 휴리스틱의 매개효과를 개별적으로 확인한 결과 첫째, 대표성 휴리스틱은 매개효과를 통한 간접효과가 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 가용성 휴리스틱은 매개효과의 크기가 0.1360이고 경로계수가 통계적으로 유의하게 나타나 매개효과를 통한 간접효과가 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 독립변수 투자기회확장은 시장 심리지수를 기반으로 한 어플리케이션에 대한 선택행동에 영향을 미치는데 직접적으로 영향을 미치지 않고 투자자의 가용성 휴리스틱이 매개가 되어 간접적으로 선택행동에 영향을 나타내는 것을 실증적으로 확인하였다.

The Way of the Increase in Helping Behavior: The Effects of Empathy and Fairness on Intention for Helping Behavior (도움행동을 높이기 위한 방안 모색: 공감과 공정성이 도움행동의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The importance of helping behavior in our society has been increasing and this study aimed to find the practical strategies to increase helping behaviors with minorities and general public in our communities. Participants(N=156) were randomly assigned to respond to a scenario which measured the intention to help either foreign workers or general public. Also, participants were given the scale of fairness and empathy to respond. The findings of this study demonstrated that (1) empathy and fairness had main effect of the intention to help other persons and empathy and different targets in the unfair perception had interactional effect; (2) the intention to help foreign workers was positively related to fairness and the intention to help general public was affected by empathy. The results showed that according to the perceived unfairness in helping behavior situations, the role of fairness which empathy did not explain was founded. These findings suggest that empathy and fairness in helping behavior are complementary to each other.

The Effects of Ethical Work Climates on Ethical leader ship and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (윤리적 풍토가 윤리적 리더십, 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • The present study focuses on ethical leader ship of people who are member of organization. The survey was conducted to 209 spectators who participated in the corporate organization. Collected data were analyzed through the statistical and analysis program SPSS. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted for analyzing the influence of ethical work climates on ethical leader ship and organizational citizenship Behavior. The results are below. First, the result of analyzing the relationship between ethical work climates and Ethical leader ship shows that principle have a positive impact on distributive justice, procedural justice, transparency, contribution, integrity and benevolence have a positive impact on procedural justice, contribution, integrity. Second, the result of analyzing the relationship between ethical leader ship and organizational citizenship behavior shows that transparency has a positive impact on conscientiousness, and integrity has a positive impact on sportsman ship. We discuss the implications of the results for the theory and the future research on the ethical leader ship.

  • The objective of this research is investigating the mediating effect of job engagement on the relationship between job autonomy and innovative behavior in public organizations. Major findings from Structural Equation Model analysis demonstrates that the variable 'job engagement' took a positive role between job autonomy and innovative behavior. From theoretical point, this result provides the empirical evidence of causal relationship in the three components of attitude-cognition, emotion, and action, which contributes to the advancement of action theory. Some policy implications can be drawn from the empirical findings. Firstly, job autonomy need to be seriously considered as a strategic instrument for the encouragement of innovative behavior. Secondly, job engagement of employees need to be more carefully monitored to stimulate the innovative behavior in the public organizations. In public organizations, enhancement of innovative behavior can not be achieved from institutional arrangements. Provision of job autonomy is more effective method of behavior change than performance management approach.

Improving Health-related Behaviors and General Self-control Behaviors through a College-level Self-management Course (자기관리수업을 통한 충동성의 감소가 건강증진 행동 및 전반적인 다양한 자기통제 행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to 1) explore the effectiveness of a college-level self-management (SM) course in improving a target behavior and reducing impulsivity, 2) investigate improvements in other non-target self-control behaviors(generalization of self-control), and 3) determine whether change in impulsivity could predict the generalization of self-control. A total of 128 College students who took the SM course were included. Participants completed the computerized delay-discounting task, self-report impulsiveness scale, and general self-control behavior questionnaire at the beginning and end of the course. After participants had defined their target behaviors, they self-monitored and recorded their behaviors everyday throughout the course. Results revealed that 63% of the participants successfully changed their target behaviors after the course. Although differing depending on the type of target behavior, thoes who successfully changed their target behaviors reported decreases in impulsivity and increases in other self-control behaviors such as physical exercise, healthy diet, study habits, and time management, after the course. Furthermore, the decrease of impulsivity significantly predicted the generalization of self-control in the exercise and diet groups. The results indicate that reduced impulsivity is related to improvements in a target behavior and general self-control behaviors in other spheres. Implications and limitations are also discussed.

The influence of perceived benefits and risks on the relational outcomes in strategically partnered firms (전략적 제휴 당사자 간의 이익 및 위험지각이 관계적 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The effects of strategic partnership can be positive or negative. This paper intends to explain why the partnership produces opposite results. This paper incorporates strategic behavioral direction and perceived values for relational performance. The conceptual model as well as empirical analysis was made and the results are as follows. First, this study uses bi-directional decomposition of two research constructs. The first construct of perceived values is classified into benefits and risks. Also, the behavioral directions are either active or passive behaviors. The critical path is found that the perceived benefits make significant effects on active behavioral direction which does on commitment. Another path is that the perceived risks make passive behavioral direction which results in opportunistic behaviors between strategically partnered firms.

Longitudinal analysis of factor influencing delinquent behavior among Korean adolescents: Psychological, relational, and social perspectives (한국 청소년의 일탈행동 형성과정에 대한 종단 분석: 심리적, 관계적, 그리고 사회적 접근)

  • This study examines factors that influence delinquent behavior among Korean adolescents using longitudinal analysis. A total of 1,012 students completed a questionnaire when they were Grade 6 and 739 students completed a follow-up questionnaire when they became Grade 9. Results of multiple regression analysis indicate that the following variables predicted delinquent behavior of Grade 9 students: Bullying, previous delinquency, experience of punishment, victimization, social efficacy, and moral disengagement. The above six variables have direct and mediating influence of delinquent behavior. Relational factors also influenced delinquent behavior. Social exclusion from friends reduce social efficacy, which increases victimization and which in turn increases bullying, leading to greater delinquency. Parental rejection, social exclusion from friends and hostility from teachers increase moral disengagement, which increases bullying, leading to delinquency. Low academic achievement increases the likelihood of being punished, which increases bullying, leading to delinquency. The results indicate that moral disengagement and social efficacy are mediating factors of delinquency and negative life-events (i.e., social exclusion from friends, rejection from teachers, hostility from parents and low academic achievement) increase the likelihood that Korean adolescents will engage in delinquent behavior. Implications of the results for future research are discussed.

  • 사람들이 어떠한 행동을 할 때는 특정 의도를 가지고 있기 때문에 상황에 맞는 적합한 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 사용자가 현재 하고 있는 행동에 대한 의도를 파악해야한다. 이를 위해 의도와 행동사이의 연관성을 이용하여 사용자의 의도에 따른 행동의 모델을 만든다. 일상생활에서 사람들이 하는 행동은 작은 단위 행동들의 연속(sequence)으로 이루어지므로, 사용자의 단위행동의 순서를 분석한다면 의도에 따른 행동 모델을 만들기가 용이해진다. 하지만, 이런 단위 행동 분석 방법의 문제점은 같은 의도를 가진 행동이 완벽하게 동일한 단위 행동의 순서로 일어나지는 않는다는 점이다. 시스템은 동일한 동작 순서로 일어나지 않는 행동들을 서로 다른 의도를 가진 행동으로 이해하게 된다. 따라서 이 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 사용자 의도 파악 기법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 과거의 사용자의 행동 정보를 기반으로 행동들의 유사성을 판별하였고, 그 결과를 이용하여 행동의 의도를 파악하는 방법을 사용한다. 이를 위해, 과거 사용자가 한 행동들을 단위 시간 별로 나누어 단위 행동의 순서로 만들고, 이를 K-평균 군집화 방법(K-means)으로 군집들의 순서로 나타내었다. 이 변경된 사용자 행동 정보를 사용하여 은닉 마코프 모델을 학습 시키고, 이렇게 만들어진 은닉 마코프 모델은 현재 사용자가 행한 행동이 어떤 행동인지를 예측하여 사용자의 의도를 파악한다.
