Effects of growth temperatures on properties of InAlAs epilayers grown on InP substrate by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE법으로 InP 기판위에 성장한 InAlAs 에피층의 특성에 대한 성장온도의 효과)

  • Indium aluminum arsenide(InAlAs) was grown by molecular beam epitaxy on (001) indium phosphide (InP) substrate and the effects of growth temperature on the properties of epitaxial layers were studied. In the temperature range of 370-$400 ^{\circ}C$, we observed that the surface morphology, optical quality and structural quality of InAlAs epilayers were improved as growth temperature increased. However, the InAlAs epilavers grown at $430 ^{\circ}C$ have the bad surface morphology and show the same trends as structural and epical quality. As a result of these measurements, it is suggested that the InAlAs epilayers of very good properties can be grown at $400 ^{\circ}C$.

  • 정부는 더불어 잘사는 경제, 성장의 과실이 국민 모두에게 골고루 돌아가는 경제를 국정과제로 제시하면서 역동적인 벤처창업 생태계를 만들기 위해 창의적인 벤처기업과 혁신적 창업자 육성을 중점 추진하고 있다. 정부의 다양한 노력에 힘입어 벤처투자금액 및 기술창업기업이 지속적으로 증가하는 등 벤처창업 생태계가 지속적으로 개선되고 있으나 COVID-19 이후 성장률이 급격히 낮아지고 청년층의 실업률이 급등하는 등 우리 경제는 저성장 국면이 장기화되고 있는 상황이다. 경제의 성장 활력을 증진시켜 부가 가치를 높이기 위해서 벤처창업기업의 혁신과 성장을 통한 일자리 창출이 당면과제로 부각되고 있고 특히 4차 산업혁명 환경에서 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 혁신형기업의 중요성이 더욱 높아지고 있는 상황에서 우리 경제의 당면 과제인 성장잠재력 회복과 일자리 창출을 위해서는 기술 기반 중심의 벤처창업의 활성화가 가장 효과적인 방안으로 제시되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 벤처창업기업의 혁신과 성장을 위한 정부의 다양한 육성시책을 고찰하고 기술 기반 벤처창업기업의 생존과 성장, 및 일자리에 미치는 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 벤처투자금액이 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 상황에서도 민간 금융기관 입장에서 벤처창업기업이 여전히 고(高)위험-저(低)수익 대상으로 여기고 있는 벤처투자시장의 구조적 문제점을 해결하기 위한 정책 대안을 제시하였다.

Construction of a reference stature growth curve using spline function and prediction of final stature in Korean (스플라인 함수를 이용한 한국인 키 기준 성장 곡선 구성과 최종 키 예측 연구)

  • Objective: Evaluation of individual growth is important in orthodontics. The aim of this study was to develop a convenient software that can evaluate current growth status and predict further growth. Methods: Stature data of 2 to 20 year-old Koreans (4893 boys and 4987 girls) were extracted from a nationwide data. Age-sex-specific continuous functions describing percentile growth curves were constructed using natural cubic spline function (NCSF). Then, final stature prediction algorithm was developed and its validity was tested using longitudinal series of stature measurements on randomly selected 200 samples. Various accuracy measurements and analyses of errors between observed and predicted stature using NCSF growth curves were performed. Results: NCSF growth curves were shown to be excellent models in describing reference percentile stature growth curie over age. The prediction accuracy compared favorably with previous prediction models, even more accurate. The current prediction models gave more accurate results in girls than boys. Although the prediction accuracy was high, the error pattern of the validation data showed that in most cases, there were a lot of residuals with the same sign, suggestive of autocorrelation among them. Conclusion: More sophisticated growth prediction algorithm is warranted to enhance a more appropriate goodness of model fit for individual growth.

Growth Characteristics for Toxic Marine Dinoflagellate Alexandrium catenella Isolated from Jinhae Bay, Korea (진해만의 유독 플랑크톤 Alexandrium catenella의 성장특성)

  • Effects of water temperature, salinity and irradiance on the growth of toxic dinoflagellate Alexandrium catenella (AlCt-01) were investigated, which was isolated from Jinhae Bay, Korea. The maximum growth of A. catenella strain was obtained at $150{\mu}E\;m^{-2}s^{-1}$. The ranges of temperature and salinity for the growth of the strain were $15\sim25^{\circ}C$ and $20\sim34$ PSU. The maximum growth rate of A. catenella determined was $0.45d^{-1}$ at $20^{\circ}C$, 30 PSU and $150{\mu}E\;m^{-2}s^{-1}$ We also examined the Se and Fe effects on the toxic dinoflagellate A. catenella in optimal growth conditions. As Fe concentration of medium increased from 0 to $11.7{\mu}M$, growth rate of A. catenella increased and the maximum growth rate(k=0.48 $d^{-1}$) was obtained at $11.7{\mu}M$ of Fe cone. Growth of A. catenella were stimulated at> 1nM of Se.

  • Climate change induced by global warming has recently begun to inspire developed nations to introduce a new paradigm, called the sustainable (Green) growth, which entails both the prevention of environmental pollution and the attainment of sustainable growth. The sustainable (Green) growth is founded upon environmental factors that drive a new force of economic progress without deteriorating nature. Thus, the conservation of the environment under the new growth paradigm can be compatible with economic growth, although this was not feasible under conventional economic relations, called the Environmental Kutzets Curve. Sustainable (Green) finance is essential to achieving Green growth efficiently and effectively. Since the financial system for Green growth is at the early stage of implementation, the application of strategies for sustainable (Green) finance should be preceded by proper initiation and protection from the government. In order to establish a feasible strategy for financing green growth, we suggest an effective financial supporting system, taking different operational forms upon the broader stage of technological progress in each individual company.

growth of Cadmium Sulfide (CdS) Thin Film by Solution Growth Technique and Study of Quantum Size Effects (용액성장법에 의한 Cadmium Sulfide(CdS) 박막 성장 및 양자 사이즈 효과에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 용액성장법에 의해 양자 입자로 구성된 CdS 박막을 슬라이드 유리기 판위에 성장시키고 이들의 구조적 광학적 특성에 대하여 연구하였고 이들 결과를 토대로 용 액성장법으로 성장된 CdS 박막의 양자 사이즈 효과에 대하여 연구하였다. 성장시간은 1, 3, 10, 20분이었고 성장온도는 75$^{\circ}C$였다. X-선 회절 분석결과 본 연구에서 합성된 CdS 박막은 hexagonal상의 결정구조를 갖는 것으로 나타났고 성장시간에 따라 막의 투께는 61~195nm, 입자사이즈는 8.5~22.5nm로 나타났다. 광에너지 변화에 따른 투과도 측정결과 본 연구의 CdS 시료는 성장시간에 따라 에너지 밴드갭이 2.43~2.51 eV로 나타나서 벌크 CdS의 에너 지 밴드갭인 2.42 ev보다 높은 에너지 밴드갭을 갖게 되어 양자 사이즈 효과에 의한 blue shift 현상이 용액성장법에 의해 합성된 CdS 시료에도 존재한다는 것이 밝혀졌다 그리고 이 같은 용액성장법으로 성장된 CdS에 대해 최초로 수행된 Raman 산란 실험결과 이성장방법 으로 성장된 CdS에는 1TO, E2, 1LO 포논 모드가 존재함을 알수 있었고 또한 입자 사이즈 감소에 의한 1LO포논 모드의저주파수 shift 현상 즉 포논 모드의 softening 현상이 있음이 밝혀졌고 softening은 최대6.2%까지 발생하였다. 이와같은 높은 softening은 본연구의 CdS 박막 내 양자 입자의 입도가 작은것에 기인하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 본 CdS 시료의 양 자 사이즈 효과의 결과로 1TO 포논도 나타났는데 이 1TO 포논과 E2 포논의 Raman shift 는 성장시간 즉 막의 두께와는 무관한 것으로 나타났다.행렬모형(二重比例行列模型)을 이용하여, 산업구조의 변화로 인한 직업별 인력수요 변화가 충분히 고려되도록 하였다. 전망의 결과에 따르면 향후 우리 경제는 지식기반경제(knowledge-based economy)로 이행하고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 우선 산업구조면에서 지식집약적산업으로의 구조조정이 일어나게 되고 이에 따라 산업별 취업구조에서도 고기술산업의 취업준비중이 급속히 증가하게 된다. 직업별 취업분포에 있어서도 전문기술직 행정관리직 등의 고숙련 사무직의 비중은 크게 증가하는 반면 생산관련직과 농림어업직의 비중은 감소하게 된다. 이처럼 경제가 지식집약화되어 감에 따라 고학력자에 대한 수요는 지속적으로 증가하지만 현재 적절한 인력양성과 공급이 이루어지지 않고 있어 향후 기술이나 기능에 따른 수급부일정(需給不一政)(skill mismatch)현상이 매우 심해질 것으로 보인다. 따라서 앞으로의 인력정책에서 가장 주안점을 두어야 할 부분은 첨단기술산업과 관련된 인력의 양성에 있다고 하겠다.2시간까지 LPDG용액은 MEC용액보다 비교적 나은 회복을 보였고 재관류 3일과 7일의 폐기능 평가에서 두 용액 모두에서 폐기능의 점차적 소실을 보였으며 이는 병리조직검사에서 보듯이 폐혐에 의한 외적인 요소라고 생각되며 따라서 LPDG용액은 허혈재관류손상 방지 및 급성폐렴 등 염증을 잘 관리한다면 20시간 이상 LPDG용액의 안전한 폐보존의 가능성 을 얻을 수 있었다.ic 형태로 외래유전자가 발현되었지만 대조구에서 87.0% (26/30개) 배반포기가 $\beta$-Gal 활력을 보인 반면, G418 처리구에서는 모든 배반포기가 $\beta$-Gal 활력을 보였다 (P<0.05). 그러나 대조구 및 G418 처리구의 ICM

  • In this study, we demonstrated a characterization of ${\alpha}-Ga_2O_3$ grown on a cone-shape patterned sapphire substrate by using the halide vapor phase epitaxy. An ${\alpha}-Ga_2O_3$ was grown on different size of PSS and c-plane sapphire substrate for comparison to confirm the effect of PSS. In addition, growth time of ${\alpha}-Ga_2O_3$ was gradually increased to confirm growth mechanism of ${\alpha}-Ga_2O_3$ grown on the PSS. A growth temperature was changed to $470-550^{\circ}C$. It can be analyzed growth conditions and mechanisms on the cone-shape PSS, resulting in a significant decrease in the FWHM value of an asymmetric plane (10-14) of ${\alpha}-Ga_2O_3$, due to lateral growth that occurs during the growth process.

Female Development in Nineteenth-Century England and Dynamics of the Bildungsroman (19세기 영국 여성의 "성장"과 성장소설의 역동성)

  • This paper attempts to examine complicated relations which the nineteenth-century English novel of female development has with the Bildungsroman genre, and to discuss that the story of female development effectively realizes the potential dynamics of the genre. It looks into the history of discussions on the Bildungsroman which began at the end of the nineteenth-century in Germany and developed among twentieth-century Anglo-American critics, and those on the female development which didn't start until feminist criticism ventured out at the end of 1970s, and have developed into various perspectives ever since in accordance to the progress of feminist criticism. In general, Bildungsroman criticism considers that it portrays the process how the protagonist develops self and achieves an accommodation with society. However, this paper points out that the Bildungsroman is the narrative form which represents conflicts between self and society caused by idealizing the infinitive possibility of self-determination while simultaneously presenting the limited goal of social integration. It argues that the subversive dynamics of the genre can give full play to its potential when it reveals contradictions and tensions between individual subjectivity and integration into society and connects them with criticism of political and social structures. It is the stories of female Bildungshelds depicted by nineteenth-century female writers that exquisitely embody the subversive potential of the Bildungsroman. They acutely experience alienation from society where independency or autonomy is fundamentally impossible because the ideology of separate spheres does not allow them to live a meaningful life economically and sociologically outside the marriage. An example of a female Bildungsheld whose conflicts between development of self and integration with society are doubled by gender is Jane Eyre. Jane Eyre is a representative Bildungsroman with subversive dynamics, which tells the story of female development but splits itself through various techniques inserting contradictory and opposite meanings, thus resignifying female development and questioning social and political structures.

Supercooled melt growth and abnormal polar morphology of meta-Nitroaniline(mNA) (유기결정 meta-Nitroaniline(mNA)의 과냉법에 의한 단결정 성장과 극성 외형의 이상성)

  • meta-Nitroaniline(mNA) crystals were grown from the supercooled melt for the first time. A seed was introduced into the purified mNA melt of 100 ml 0.1 K above the melting temperature ($T_m$ : $112.0^{\circ}C$) and crystal was grown at constant supercooling of 0.1 K. The melt was stirred . mechanically and the crystal was also rotated while the growth proceeds. mNA crystals of size up to $20{\times}15{\times}15 \textrm {mm}^3 and of very high perfection could be grown for the period of one day. The bottom half of the crystal faces are well-faceted and covered by {111} and {021} faces, while the faces of the top half are not well defined. The overall crystal morphology was characterized by the unidirectional growth along one of the polar axes. The absolute direction of preferred growth was determined to be [001] by the pyroelectric measurements. The perfection of the crystal was characterized by synchrotron X-ray topography and optical characterization was made by measuring second harmonic conversion efficiency.

A Study on the Urban Growth Patterns Focusing on Regional Characteristics (지역적 특성을 고려한 도시 성장 패턴에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the growing course of Busan, Gimhae and Jinhae and further find patterns of the urban growth. This study shows that patterns of the urban growth differ from city to city, being influenced by the city's characteristics. Acknowledging this fact would help the decision maker to determine the developing plan of the urban. The methodology for this study is as follows; Fuzzy set concept is applied to minimize the data loss. At the same time, the AHP is used to give a relative weight to each factor. In order to be able to manage the change based on the dynamic model and time, Cellular Automata is introduced to simulate the growth of urban. The results show that the pattern of Gimhae's and Jinhae's growth is the same, whereas that of Busan is different from them. That is to say, each city has regional characteristics. And the pattern of the urban growth is influenced by the regional conditions of the city.
